LOCKING SHOWER CADDY
A mountable shower/bath storage caddy or container which is securable or lockable for securely storing a bottled personal hygiene item such as a bottle of shampoo, which is only accessible to a person having a code or key to unlock the container. A method of using the container and system of multiple containers for shared shower or bath enclosures are also provided.
Dynamic spinal stabilization assembly with elastic bumpers and locking limited travel closure mechanisms
A dynamic stabilization assembly includes a core, typically in the form of a tensioned cord, at least one pair of bone anchors, a spacer surrounding the core located between the bone anchors, at least one elastic bumper and at least one fixing or blocking member. The core is slidable with respect to at least one of the bone anchors, the spacer and the bumper. The bumper is compressed. Bone screws of the assembly include closure structures that lock against the bone screw independent of any fixing or sliding of the core with respect to the bone screw.
Golf club head or other ball striking device having reinforced sole
A head for a ball striking device includes a bracing member connected to an upper sole surface located on the sole of the body opposite the bottom sole surface. The bracing member includes a first end connected to a first point on the upper sole surface, a second end connected to a second point on the upper sole surface spaced from the first point, and a bridge portion extending between the first and second ends. The bridge portion extends upward from the upper sole surface and is spaced from the upper sole surface. The bridge portion may be formed by one or more trusses, and may define a generally triangular shape in one embodiment. The first and second ends may be connected to the upper sole surface using a variety of techniques, e.g., welding or other integral joining technique, integral forming, adhesive or other bonding material, or other technique.
FOOD AND CONDIMENT CONTAINER
A condiment distribution apparatus is provided. The apparatus may include a condiment delivery fitment including a condiment delivery base comprising two curved exterior surfaces formed adjacent to a flat top surface, a curved condiment delivery tube having a remote end and a near end, the near end affixed to the flat top surface of the condiment delivery base, and product valve distribution means positioned within the condiment delivery base and attached to the curved condiment delivery tube enabling rotation of the curved condiment delivery tube relative to the condiment delivery base, wherein rotation of the product valve distribution means selectively inhibits or enables condiment product delivery via the curved condiment delivery tube.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF ATTACHMENT AND DETECTION OF ATTACHMENT OF A WEARABLE SENSOR TO CLOTHING MATERIAL
A method and system of universal, secure attachment with attachment detection mechanism, of a wearable sensor-unit to any article of clothing worn around the body in order to measure vital signals of a person, such as motion, movements and activity levels. The method and system permits: reliable attachment to any article of clothing; an attachment in any position to clothing or fabric worn by a person; and detection for the wearable sensor attachment to an article of clothing to minimize false alarms.
System and methods for fluid delivery
A system for at least partial closed-loop control of a medical condition is disclosed. The system includes at least one medical fluid pump. The medical fluid pump including a sensor for determining the volume of fluid pumped by the pump. Also, at least one continuous analyte monitor, and a controller. The controller is in communication with the medical fluid pump and the at least one continuous analyte monitor. The controller includes a processor. The processor includes instructions for delivery of medical fluid based at least on data received from the at least one continuous analyte monitor.
PIPE COUPLING
A pipe coupling for coupling a first pipe to a second pipe wherein a gap exists between a first pipe end and a second pipe end. The pipe coupling includes a tubular insert configured to fit within the gap and match an inside diameter and outside diameter of the pipes, thereby providing a through-butt joint between the insert and the pipes. The pipe coupling also includes a half-tubular first fitting section and a half-tubular second fitting section, configured to snap-lock and form a tubular shape over the insert, the first pipe end and the second pipe end. In some embodiments, the insert is integral with the fitting sections.
Encapsulated heart valves
The present disclosure concerns embodiments of implantable prosthetic devices, and in particular, implantable prosthetic valves, and methods for making such devices. In one aspect, a prosthetic device includes encapsulating layers that extend over a fabric layer and secure the fabric layer to another component of the device. In particular embodiments, the prosthetic device comprises a prosthetic heart valve, and can be configured to be implanted in any of the native heart valves. In addition, the prosthetic heart valve can be, for example, a transcatheter heart valve, a surgical heart valve, or a minimally-invasive heart valve.
Spring lock
A spring lock includes a sinusoidal spring that has one or more crests and troughs formed along a length of the sinusoidal spring, the length extending along a sliding axis, the one or more crests and troughs forming a sinusoidal spring profile. The spring lock further includes a lock bar that has a track extending along the sliding axis, the track being configured to hold the sinusoidal spring and allow the sinusoidal spring to move along the sliding axis, the track further including one or more depressions and plateaus with the depressions and plateaus forming a lock bar profile, wherein the spring lock is locked when the sinusoidal spring profile and the lock bar profile are out-of-phase and the spring lock is unlocked when the sinusoidal spring profile and the lock bar profile are in-phase.
Automatic injection devices having overmolded gripping surfaces
Exemplary embodiments provide automatic injection devices, housing components for automatic injection devices and methods for fabricating the same. An exemplary housing of an automatic injection device may be overmolded with one or more gripping surfaces to facilitate gripping and manipulation of the automatic injection device by a user when performing an injection. In an exemplary embodiment, an overmolded left gripping surface may extend along a left side of the housing and an overmolded right gripping surface may extend along a right side of the housing opposite to the left side.
