Method for Treating Lysosomal Storage Disease
20260014220 · 2026-01-15 ·

A method for treating lysosomal storage disease in an individual is provided, comprising administering to the individual a ketogenic agent, a composition comprising a mixture of metabolic enhancing agents, or administering both the ketogenic agent and the metabolic enhancing composition. The treatment is effective to improve muscle function, autophagic activity and/or mitochondrial capacity in an individual having a lysosomal storage disease.

Compositions and methods of BDNF activation

The present invention is a nutraceutical, and method of administering it, to create both a rapid increase in free and total testosterone in the bloodstream as well as modulation of sleep cycles to a PSQI score of 5 or lower, including the key ingredients of 1 mg zinc (chelated or zinc citrate); 1125 mg L-Citrulline Malate (2:1); 400 mg Tesnor (Pomegranate peel and cocoa bean extracts); 150 mg of elevATP, an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) stimulating composition containing peat extract and apple fruit extract; 100-150 mg Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) root extract, and 10 mg boron as boron glycinate, together with one or more excipients. The combination of these ingredients, together with optional Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D, and optional 25 mg of S7 (green coffee extract (bean), green tea extract (leaf), turmeric extract (rhizome), sour cherry (fruit), blueberry (fruit), broccoli (flower), and kale (leaf)) gives new and unexpectedly improved results over any of the constituents administered alone or in any other combination.

Compositions of nitrates and methods of use thereof

Inorganic anions nitrate and nitrite influence metabolic rate and glucose homeostasis. Infusion of nitrite iv caused an acute drop in resting energy expenditure (oxygen consumption) and nitrate, when given perorally, caused a reduction in oxygen consumption during exercise and a depression of the increase in blood glucose observed after an oral glucose tolerance test. The doses of nitrate and nitrite did not cause any detectable change in methemoglobin levels of blood. Also, nitrate and nitrite did not alter lactate levels in blood. This discovery provides useful treatments to regulate the energy expenditure and glucose homeostasis of a mammal by administration of inorganic nitrite and/or nitrate.

Clinical dressing loaded with coffee extract

A method of making a supplemented wound dressing including preparing a coffee extract with or without cardamom and supplementing the wound dressing with the coffee extract is provided. The coffee beans may be Khulani coffee beans and they may be green coffee beans, lightly roasted coffee beans, or medium roasted coffee beans. The supplemented wound dressing prepared according to this method is effective to inhibit bacterial growth, particularly growth of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

ENRICHED MINERAL PITCH RESIN PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING ENRICHED MINERAL PITCH RESIN PRODUCTS
20260034186 · 2026-02-05 ·

Compositions and methods of manufacturing mineral pitch resin compositions comprising at least one of a cannabinoid, a terpene, a terpenoid, an essential oil and a fatty acid are provided. Such mineral pitch resin compositions may be safely consumed orally, topically or otherwise, and have numerous health benefits. In the method, raw shilajit is dissolved in water, filtered through successively smaller filters to yield a filtrate, the filtrate is dried to yield a resin, and the resin is sheared to form an emulsion with a particulate size of 1-10 nm.

Specially, one object of the invention is the encapsulation of natural extracts, i.e., essential oils and/or natural pure bioactive compounds and optionally terpenoid, sesquiterpenoid, diterpenoid, sesterterpenoid, triterpenoid, carotenoid, and ricinoid compounds; complementary acids, 10 and polysaccharides; vitamins, and other organic compounds, in mesoporous materials for application in different industries such as food, agricultural, veterinary, aquacultural, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection industries, as well as in medicine.

Compositions and Methods for Cellular Ageing, Stress Resilience, Autophagy, Inflammation and Longevity

Compositions and methods are presented that that help reduce cellular ageing, improve cellular stress resilience, and/or promote increased longevity. Especially preferred compositions include a combination of a purine alkaloid, an isothiocyanate or thioglucoside, and a metal-containing antioxidant, where the purine alkaloid, the isothiocyanate or thioglucoside, and the metal-containing antioxidant may be chemically isolated compounds or extracts or other preparations from naturally occurring entities such as plants, bacteria, yeast, etc. Advantageously, contemplated compositions will be effective to reduce and repair oxidative stress, improve mitochondrial function, augment DNA repair and telomere maintenance, increase fatty acid metabolism, and modulate histone deacetylation.
