UMBRELLA HAVING A CAM ASSEMBLY
An umbrella including a support shaft, a plurality of ribs, a rotatable cam assembly, and a canopy. Each rib of the plurality of ribs has a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The proximal end portion is pivotably attached to an upper portion of the support shaft to pivot the rib between an open position and a closed position. The rotatable cam assembly includes a cam configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the support shaft. The cam is engaged with each rib of the plurality of ribs such that (i) each rib moves in a direction from the closed position to the open position when the cam rotates in a first direction and (ii) each rib moves in a direction from the open position to the closed position when the cam rotates in a second direction, the second direction being opposite the first direction.
Anti-turning umbrella frame
An anti-turning umbrella frame is revealed. The anti-turning umbrella frame includes a plurality of inner main ribs, a plurality of inner connecting ribs, a plurality of middle main ribs, and a plurality of stretchers. An outer end of the inner main rib is riveted to an inner end of the middle main rib to form a first rivet point. The anti-turning umbrella frame features on that a positioning portion is disposed on an inner side of the first rivet point of the inner main rib while a locking portion corresponding to the positioning portion is arranged at or close to the outer end of the inner connecting rib. The locking portion is locked with the positioning portion while the umbrella frame is opened. Thereby the inner main rib and the middle main rib are connected to form a rigid body for preventing the middle main rib from turning over.
UMBRELLA
An improved umbrella is a handheld umbrella which protects the user from the sun and inclement weather, with a switch on the handle to illuminate streaming or solid lights along the borders for decorative and safety purposes. The umbrella is able to emit a sound with the push of a button in case of emergency. The lights help a person be seen at night or in inclement weather.

OPENING AND CLOSING STRUCTURE FOR UMBRELLA COMBINING AUTOMATIC AND NON-AUTOMATIC MODES
An opening and closing structure for an umbrella combining automatic and non-automatic modes including an electric mechanism, a cranking mechanism and a clutch structure is described herein. The electric mechanism includes a screw rod, a motor and a first transmission element. The motor is configured to drive rotation of the screw rod, and the first transmission element is mounted at the screw rod. The cranking mechanism includes a second transmission element and a cranking handle. The second transmission element is engaged with the first transmission element, and the second transmission element is connected with the cranking handle via the clutch structure. The invention overturns a conventional method of using an electric umbrella, and provides a manual lifting-and-lowering function under the premise of maintaining a electric lifting-and-lowering function, that is, in case of insufficient or no power supply, the umbrella can be opened and closed through the cranking handle.

Intelligent Shading System with Movable Base Assembly
A shading system includes a base assembly, core assembly, a sensor expansion module coupled to the core assembly module, wherein the sensor expansion module includes one or more arm support assemblies; one or more arms connected to the one or more arm support assemblies. The base assembly includes one or more motors, one or more processors; one or more memory modules; a base motor controller; and computer-readable instructions, which when executed communicate movement direction and distance instructions to a base motor controller. The base assembly includes one or more motors, wherein the base motor controller converts the received movement direction and/or distance instructions to movement direction and/or distance commands, and communicates the movement direction and/or distance commands to the one or more motors to physically move the base assembly.
Easy Open Solar Patio Umbrella Device
The present invention relates to a novel solar powered patio umbrella device which provides users with an improved patio umbrella capable of automatically expanding and retracting when exposed to sunlight. The device comprises at least one rotating solar panel that powers an automated opening and closing system; and at least one battery that receives power from the at least one rotating solar panel. Thus, the umbrella opens when the battery is at full charge and lowers when the battery is at a lower percentage. In this manner, the device simplifies use of the umbrella and eliminates the need to manually crank the umbrella open to use it.
Hands-free, automatic umbrella with lighting mechanism and rotating device for electricity generation from wind
