Trip cock valve for a brake system on a rail car
10919504 · 2021-02-16 ·

A trip cock valve for a brake system on a rail car includes a valve body that defines an inlet, a chamber downstream from the inlet, and an outlet downstream from the chamber. A piston is inside the chamber. A valve member operably connected to the piston has a first position that prevents fluid flow through the outlet and a second position that permits fluid flow through the outlet. A lever is operably engaged with the valve member to move the valve member from the first position to the second position. A valve position indicator downstream from the inlet is in fluid communication with the inlet when the valve member is in the second position.

Mounting structure of fuel device

The mounting structure of a fuel device is for mounting the fuel device, which includes a plurality of components, on a baffle plate for suppressing waving of liquid fuel stored in a fuel tank. One of the components of the fuel device is integrally formed, as a mounting portion, with the baffle plate. The remaining components of the fuel device are mounted, as a mounted portion, on the mounting portion of the baffle plate.

VENTILATION CONTROL VALVE FOR FUEL TANK
20200331341 · 2020-10-22 ·

A ventilation control valve for a fuel tank is disposed in a ventilation passage which communicates an inside and an outside of a fuel tank. The ventilation control valve includes a float that floats on a liquid level of a fuel and moves up and down. The ventilation control valve includes a valve mechanism which switches a passage sectional area of the ventilation passage in conjunction with the float to an open state and a restricted state in which the passage sectional area is restricted from the opened state. The float has a volume chamber in which volume changes in accordance with a vertical movement of the float. A control gap as a flow rate adjusting mechanism is formed between the cylindrical wall of the float and the cylindrical wall of a case. Due to the control gap, the volume chamber functions as a damper.

A fuel cutoff valve has: a valve mechanism that cuts off a communication between a fuel tank and a canister; an upper space defined above the valve mechanism; a tube body that has a tube passage to be communicated with the upper space and introduces a fuel gas to the canister; a retaining chamber defined by a first fuel shielding portion and a second fuel shielding portion to retain a liquid fuel stored in the upper space; a liquid reservoir portion defined between the tube body and the first fuel shielding portion to store the liquid fuel flowing out of the retaining chamber; and a communication portion through which the retaining chamber communicates with the liquid reservoir portion; wherein the communication portion is formed at a position deviated from the tube body so as not to overlap the tube body, when the tube body is seen in its axial direction.

There is provided a valve device including: a housing; a float valve; and a pressure adjusting valve. A first valve seat is formed from a peripheral edge of a valve hole. An accommodation portion is provided in a protruding manner from a surface of a partition wall. An inner periphery of the accommodation portion is provided with a reduced diameter portion and an increased diameter portion. A height of an upper end of the reduced diameter portion is equal to or greater than a front surface of the pressure adjusting valve in a state where the pressure adjusting valve is in contact with the first valve seat. The pressure adjusting valve is configured to be beyond the upper end of the reduced diameter portion when the pressure adjusting valve is raised to a maximum due to an increase in pressure in a fuel tank.

A first casing has an internal cylindrical region defined as a floating/sinking guiding region for a float valve. The wall that forms the cylindrical region includes ventilation windows. A second casing surrounds the first casing to form, about the periphery of the first casing, a ventilation passage that guides fuel vapor in a fuel tank to the ventilation windows through a region that surrounds the first casing. In addition, the second casing surrounds the first casing from a first connection hole side to form, about the periphery of the first casing, a first ventilation passage that guides the fuel vapor in the fuel tank to the ventilation windows through the region that surrounds the first casing, and a second ventilation passage that has a larger passage cross-sectional area than the first ventilation passage. These ventilation passages stabilize floating/sinking operation of the float.
