Apparatus and methods for dispensing pre-filled containers with precisely-applied patient-specific information
Apparatus and methods for fulfillment of patient prescription orders by adapting a standard or stock container pre-filled with medication or the like for use as a patient-specific container through precise application of patient-specific information to the pre-filled container. Precise placement of the patient-specific information to the pre-filled container enables pharmacy management to fully utilize valuable information provided with the pre-filled container, thereby improving the quality of service to the patient while making the process of prescription order fulfillment more efficient. In general, preferred embodiments comprise control apparatus and information-application apparatus. In embodiments, the information-application apparatus is adapted to place a patient-specific label on the container. Preferred forms of the information-application apparatus include a label printer and a positioner. The preferred printer applies patient-specific information on a label. The preferred positioner orients the pre-filled container to receive the label from the printer such that information provided with the container is available for use.
Optimized lancet tape
A method for producing an analytical tape, in particular a lancet tape, is proposed. The analytical tape is designed for being used in an analytical testing device with at least a sample-taking function. In the method, at least one supporting tape is provided in a continuous process. A plurality of lancet elements are successively applied directly to the supporting tape at at least one application point.
OVERLAY APPLICATOR MACHINE AND METHOD OF PROVIDING THE SAME
A machine including a cradle configured to hold an electronic device. The machine also can include an alignment base comprising pins configured to engage with an alignment mechanism of an overlay applicator. The overlay applicator can include an overlay configured to be applied to a screen of the electronic device. The alignment base can include a first side and a second side adjacent to the first side. The pins can be located on the first side and the second side. Other embodiments are described.
PARTICLE REMOVAL DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A particle removal device including a particle removal sticker. The particle removal sticker including a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side of the particle removal sticker includes an adhesive configured to removably adhere to a screen of an electronic device. The particle removal device also includes a sticker release liner. The sticker release liner includes a top side removably attached to the bottom side of the particle removal sticker. The sticker release liner is configured to be removed from the bottom side of the particle removal sticker to expose the adhesive and to adhere the particle removal sticker to the screen. The particle removal sticker is configured to remove particles as the particle removal sticker is removed from the screen. Other embodiments are provided.
OVERLAY FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An apparatus including an overlay with a top side and a bottom side. The apparatus also can include an adhesive component with a top side and a bottom side. The top side of the adhesive component can be adhered to the bottom side of the overlay. The adhesive component can be configured to adhere the bottom side of the overlay to a screen of an electronic device in a single-use application of the overlay by adhering the bottom side of the adhesive component to the screen of the electronic device. The apparatus can be configured such that, when the overlay is removed from being adhered to the screen of the electronic device after the single-use application of the overlay, at least a portion of the adhesive component is detached from at least a portion of the overlay. Other embodiments are provided.
Ultrasonic welder clamp
A device for joining thermoplastic workpieces includes an ultrasonic welder including an ultrasonic transducer, a booster and a horn having a welding tip. A clamping mechanism attaches to the ultrasonic welder and includes an upper frame coupled to a boot. The welding tip of the horn of the ultrasonic welder projects into an aperture in the boot of the clamping mechanism. The clamping mechanism exerts a clamping force on the workpieces that differs from a welding force exerted on the workpieces by the ultrasonic welder when the ultrasonic welder is operating to join the thermoplastic workpieces.
Cradle device and method of using the same
A cradle device including a device slot configured to hold an electronic device. The device slot includes one or more frames. The one or more frames are configured to securely hold the electronic device in the device slot as an overlay applicator is applied to a screen of the electronic device. The cradle device also includes an alignment base. The alignment base is configured to engage with an alignment mechanism of the overlay applicator. The alignment base is configured to align the overlay applicator with the screen of the electronic device as the overlay applicator is applied to the screen. Other embodiments are provided.
Overlay applicator machine and method of using the same
An overlay applicator machine including a support base configured to hold an electronic device. The overlay applicator machine also includes a lid attached to the support base. The overlay applicator machine additionally includes a hinge mechanism attaching the lid to the support base. The hinge mechanism allows the lid to rotate with respect to the support base. The support base and the lid are configured to enclose the electronic device in a closed configuration. The overlay applicator machine further includes an alignment base. The alignment base is configured to engage with an alignment mechanism of an overlay applicator. The alignment base is configured to align the overlay applicator with a screen of the electronic device as the overlay applicator is applied to the screen. The overlay applicator machine additionally includes an end slot. The end slot is configured to receive a pull tab of the overlay applicator extending from the support base out of the overlay applicator machine. The pull tab is configured to be pulled through the end slot to remove an adhesive release liner of the overlay applicator from a bottom side of an overlay layer to expose an adhesive of the overlay layer to the screen of the electronic device. Other embodiments are provided.
