Decoupled Latch
A latch includes a retention portion. The retention portion is configured to prevent a first device, coupled to the latch, from being removed while the retention portion is in a first configuration. The retention portion is configured to allow the first device to be removed while the retention portion is in a second configuration. The latch also includes a spring portion configured to allow the retention portion to transition between the first configuration and the second configuration.
HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER
A handheld vacuum cleaner(10) includes a main body(22) with a handle(98) and a receptacle(150), a motor assembly(114) positioned within the main body(22), and a battery(138) configured to be selectively received within the receptacle(150) to power the motor assembly(114). The handheld vacuum cleaner(10) also includes a latch(490) movable between a blocking position that prevents removal of the battery(138) from the receptacle(150) and a released position that allows removal of the battery(138) from the receptacle(150). The latch(490) elastically deforms to move between the blocking position and the released position.
LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR GLOVEBOX
A latch assembly for closing a door of a glovebox compartment includes a key cylinder having an eccentric shaft; a striker connected to the key cylinder to form a scotch-yoke connection to the eccentric shaft so that a rotation of the key cylinder is transformed to a linear movement of the striker; and a pair of latching members to lock the door. The pair of latching members includes a first latching member having an operation portion to engage or disengage from the striker, and a second latching member connected to the first latching member to simultaneously move with the first latching member. The key cylinder rotates to switch between an unlocked state in which the striker engages the operation portion and a locked state in which the striker is disengaged from the operation portion.
Quick release chassis cover
A chassis cover includes a cover member having a first edge and a second edge. The cover member also includes at least one latch member. The latch member or members include a cantilever arm extending distally outward from an interior of the cover member beyond the first edge by a first distance, and terminating at a loop. A latch arm extends distally inward from the loop a second distance, which may be greater than the first distance. A latching tab extends distally from an end of the latch arm.
Cyclone dust collecting apparatus and cleaner having the same
A cyclone dust collecting apparatus and a cleaner having the same include a grille unit including an introduction pipe communicating with the suction port and adapted to guide the air into the main cyclone chamber, and a grille body detachably provided to the introduction pipe and allowing the air to be discharged from the main cyclone chamber after dust particles in the air having a size greater than or equal to a certain size is filtered out. With this configuration, the spatial utilization of the cyclone structure may be facilitated, and visualization of the dust collection chamber may allow a user to gain satisfaction from cleaning operation.
COVER UNIT
A cover unit includes a first divisional cover, and a second divisional cover. The first divisional cover and second divisional cover include a first locking portion and second locking portion, respectively. The first locking portion and second locking portion are made of an elastomer. The first locking portion and second locking portion lock to one another to couple the first divisional cover to the second divisional cover, or vice versa. The first locking portion includes a prong-shaped main tab. The second locking portion includes a main bore into which the main tab is insertable. The main tab includes a main claw disposed on the leading-end side, and locked to the main bore to inhibit the main tab from coming off from the main bore.
LATCH MECHANISM FOR STORAGE BOX
A latch mechanism for a vehicle storage box may include a pair of pawls fixed on opposite sides of a coupler and configured to cause inward translation of one pawl in response to actuation at the other pawl, and a sliding element arranged between each of the pawls and the coupler, the sliding element including at least one retention mechanism to fix the pawl to the sliding element and further including a biasing element to compress the pawl to further engage the pawl with the retention mechanism.
Barrier with panels sliding parallel
A barrier employed to keep children and/or pets in or out of certain areas in the house. The barrier includes four panels. Two main panels slide parallel to each other to lengthen or shorten the barrier as a whole. Two side panels stabilize the main panels and extend to the front and rear faces of the main panels to provide a self-supporting in-house barrier. Each of the panels includes a wooden frame. The wood lends less weight, less sharp edges, and more pleasing aesthetics than, for example, a metal gate. Legs are connected to the side panels to further stabilize the side panels and main panels.
Door, Closing System and Logistics Container
A novel proposition is herein presented for providing a safe and user-friendly door especially for logistics containers. The door includes a quadrilateral frame, which defining the perimeter for the door. A latch is provided movably to the frame so as to be manipulated between a locking state, in which at least a distal portion of the latch protrudes outside said perimeter, and a released state, in which the distal portion is flush with or inside said perimeter. The frame also includes a diagonal guide, which is configured to guide the latch between the locking state and the released state by allowing deviation of the latch along a path diagonal to the quadrilateral shape of the frame.
ASTRAGAL
Retainers for use within an astragal assembly as described. The astragal assembly has an astragal body with a major axis. The astragal assembly is for use in a double door entryway unit. The retainers include a retention portion configured to engage an entryway component and a mounting portion configured for placement onto the astragal body in a direction normal to the major axis. The retention portion is either a void for receiving at least one of a latch and a deadbolt, or the retention portion is a bolt pin configured to engage an entryway frame.
