Motor vehicle door latch
A motor vehicle door latch which is equipped with a locking bolt and a locking mechanism interacting with the locking bolt, including a catch and a pawl. The motor vehicle door latch possesses a stop lever pivotably located on the control lever, which interacts with a protrusion on the catch beyond a main ratchet position and a pre-ratchet position, whereby the protrusion corresponds to a third ratchet position with an increased distance of the locking bolt in respect of the main ratchet and pre-ratchet position compared to a catch axis. The stop lever impinges a triggering lever lifting the pawl from the catch in order to open the locking mechanism.
System and apparatus for air flow handling in an aircraft monument
In an illustrative embodiment, an aircraft galley ducting assembly provides airflow to at least one compartment of an aircraft galley monument. The ducting assembly may include a supply air duct that provides a supply airflow path to a compartment that includes an inlet port mounted to a compartment surface. A return air duct may provide an exit airflow path for return air that has circulated throughout the compartment and includes an outlet port mounted to the compartment surface. An airflow adjustment apparatus with an airflow adjustment surface is positioned within the supply airflow path of the supply air duct or the exit airflow path of the return air duct to cause a modification of airflow properties for air passing across or through the airflow adjustment surface.
Lockable latch handle assembly
A lockable latch handle assembly for enclosures such as truck tool boxes comprises the combination of a key cylinder, and a latch handle that may be secured by a padlock to the front wall of the box, to collectively prevent opening of latches that secure the lid of the box in a closed position.
ACTUATING SYSTEM FOR AN ACTUATABLE DOOR
An actuating system for an actuatable door and to an actuatable door having such an actuating system. The actuating system comprises a rotatable latching shaft, a rotatable locking shaft, a latching device, comprising a latch, and a locking device. The latch is adapted to maintain the actuatable door in a closed position. The locking device comprises a locking cam, that is mounted to the locking shaft and that is adapted to engage with the latch in a closed and latched position, and a latch securing lever, that is driven by the locking cam and that is adapted to engage with the latch to maintain the latch in a closed and secured position.
Anti-barricade door stop
The present invention relates to a door jamb assembly comprising a door stop member movably mounted thereon, configured such that the door stop is selectively operable to move from an extended, door-engaging position into a retracted door-disengaging position, and where the door stop member is adapted to initially move directly away from the face of a door with which it is in contact during use. Associated methods, door assemblies and suchlike are also provided. The door jamb assembly of the present invention is of particular use in situations where a door may be barricaded.
Method and Apparatus for Securing a Watthour Meter Box
A locking bracket and a lock housing wherein the locking bracket generally comprises a clamping member and a fastening lever that attaches to a wall of a meter box base. The lock housing generally comprises a unitary member with a perpendicular flange. The meter box lid is secured to the meter box base when the locking bracket is secured to the side wall and used in combination with the lock housing and a locking shaft.
Lock for a motor vehicle door leaf
A lock (1) for a motor vehicle door, comprising: an assembly of control means (7), each control means being mobile; an assembly of opening levers (10A, 10B) of said door (2), each lever (10A, 10B) being intended to enable the opening of the door (2) by a control means (7) of the control means assembly, each lever (10A, 10B) comprising a cam (11A, 11B) which can rotate about an axis of rotation (8) and is fixed to said control means (7) in a fixation region (9) so as to be rotated during a movement of the control means (7); a blocking means (12) configured to take an active blocking position, in which said blocking means (12) blocks an opening lever (10A), and a rest position in which said blocking means (12) authorises the movement of each opening lever (10A, 10B), a spring-back blocking means (14) configured to switch said blocking means (12) from the rest position to the active blocking position, and a trigger means (16) configured to take a rest position in which said trigger means (16) blocks the blocking means (12) in the rest position thereof and an active unblocking position in which said trigger (16) releases said blocking means (12) so that said blocking means switches from the rest position to the active blocking position, the blocking means (12) and one opening lever (10B) not blocked by the blocking means in the blocking position (10) interacting so as to convey the blocking means (12) from the active blocking position to the rest position when said non-blocked opening lever (10B) pivots in the opening direction of the door (2).
Inertial lock systems for push-push latch style vehicle drawers
Inertial lock systems for push-push latch style vehicle drawers or storage bins including an inertia lock to maintain a drawer in a closed position under a g-force. A shaft is rotatably mounted on a drawer housing; an inertia member is mounted on the shaft; and a confining member is mounted on the shaft and disposed opposite to the inertia member. The confining member is configured to move to a position to restrict movement of a rotating latch of the drawer when a g-forced applied to the drawer exceeds a predetermined level.
Apparatus and Method for Securing an Enclosure
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for securing a box cover to a watthour meter socket box. In certain embodiments, the apparatus has a clamping member that fits over a wall of a meter box and a lock housing that locks to the clamping member after a box cover has been installed thereby securing the cover to the box. Further embodiments relate to a clamping member and a lock housing wherein the clamping member generally comprises a clamp, clamp actuating member, and fastening shelf, and wherein the clamp actuating member may comprise a lever or threaded member to attach the clamping member to a wall of a meter box base.
