Hinged walking cane
Disclosed is a hinged cane to assist in user mobility. The cane comprises an upper section and a lower section and a hinged mechanism that connects the upper and lower sections. The hinged mechanism comprises a lower block and an upper block and a hinge coupler pivotally connected to the lower block and to the upper block. This configuration enables the lower section to be moved from a use position over a range of travel into a fully folded position. The cane includes a catch mechanism for releasably securing the upper section to the lower section when in the use position. The cane may include a foot that has a relatively more pliable skirt and a relatively less pliable central nub to assist in maintaining the natural walking motion of the user.
WALKING TRAINING SYSTEM AND WALKING TRAINING MACHINE
A walking training system and walking training machine capable of remarkably enhancing the effect of improving an independent walking function are proposed. When a subject having a lower limb functional disorder performs walking training, the degree of dependency on upper limbs can be evaluated by enabling the subject to recognize transitional reductions of a load on a holding part(s) by feeding back the transitional reductions of the load as a sense to feel them.
END CAP STRUCTURE FOR CANE/CRUTCH/TREKKING POLE
An end cap structure for a cane/crutch/trekking pole includes a main body, an elastic interlayer, and a bottom layer. The elastic interlayer is disposed between the main body and the bottom layer to ensure the structural strength of the end cap. When the user swings the cane/crutch/trekking pole in all directions, the whole underside of the bottom layer is kept in contact with the ground due to the elastic interlayer to ensure that the anti-slip function is not affected, thereby improving the safety of the product when in use.
Wading stick with expanding support
A wading stick is provided with an expanding elastomer support that prevents the stick from sinking into mud or other soft surfaces. The distal end of the support expands away from the stick when it contacts the soft surface. The support circumference increases in response to contact with soft surface and the increased circumference prevents the stick and support from sinking.
STANDING AND WALKING SUPPORT DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A standing and walking support device and system supports and aids a user as the user moves from a sitting position to a standing position. A user is able to grasp and hold a top section of the device as the user stands up. As weight of the user and/or force is placed on the top section, the device compresses under the user's weight and/or force. The device guides the user to shift their center of gravity forward. As the user stands up, the device decompresses to return to its original height. The device and system is then usable as a support as the user walks.
DEFORMABLE CRUTCH
A deformable crutch, includes a hand-held part, a seat part and a support part which are rotatably connected in sequence, and further includes a locking device for locking a rotation angle between the hand-held part and the seat part, and a rotation angle between the seat part and the support part. Rollers (34) are provided at the bottom of the deformed stool. A motor for driving the rollers (34) can also be mounted to deform the deformable crutch into an electric scooter.
Walking cane with enhanced security features and video recording capability
A walking cane with enhanced security features designed for use by a user to facilitate walking on a ground surface is provided. The walking cane includes a housing having a tubular member with a front face, a rear face and a pair of side faces, a handle coupled to the rear face of the housing, and a camera disposed within the internal cavity of the housing and having a lens that protrudes out the front face of the tubular member. The handle is grasped by the user to facilitate walking on the ground surface while the camera activates to simultaneously generate video of the surrounding area of the cane for a later retrieval.
Stairway descending assistance device
An apparatus for assisting a user with safer descent of a stairway that has at least one handrail. The apparatus essentially serves as a second handrail which the user can hold onto and depend on to support their weight, while holding onto a handrail while they descend the stairway. The user would use the apparatus in the handrail engaged configuration when descending a stairway, and in the stowed configuration for all other venues. The portability allows the user to bring the apparatus with them everywhere, enabling the user to become comfortable and confident with the apparatus' use.
Cane Fabric Wrap
Cane fabric-wraps are attachable and removable stretch fabric/foam wraps that once applied to a standard walking cane add new features to the cane and alter the shape, color and overall appearance of a traditional cane silhouette. The cane fabric wraps can have reflective elements for nighttime visibility on the front or visible surface, permanent address labels on the back or hidden surface and silicon material pieces (on the back surface) to prevent the wrap from sliding downwards when the cane is in use. The fabric wraps are typically secured to the cane with a three-step process. First with a snap at the top edge, secondly with a full-length hook & loop tape, and thirdly with a snap at the bottom edge. These three steps allow for installation onto the cane and removal from the cane. The overall shape of the wrap is designed to provide a large area for a variety of design and color application and also room for the reflective elements to be placed.
ILLUMINATED WALKING CANE
The present disclosure provides an illuminated walking cane having a cane pole component, a ground-engaging tip at a first end and a handle at an opposing second end, a light mounted on the cane pole component. The handle has a supporting seat with a recessed cavity, a battery assembly with a conductive terminal accommodated in the recessed cavity and an upper cover covering the battery assembly so that the upper shell and the battery assembly form an integral piece which may be grasped by hand and may be detached from the supporting seat. The battery assembly has a bottom shell, a battery unit and a charging port provided on the bottom of the battery assembly. The edge of the bottom shell is supported and connected by the edge of the supporting seat to form a space for receiving the charging port.
