VEHICLE
A vehicle includes: at least one rotary electric machine; an inverter that drives the rotary electric machine; a capacitor connected between a paired electric power lines that is connected to the inverter; and a control unit. When a vehicle collision is detected, the control unit executes first control for discharging electric charges stored in the capacitor by performing a switching operation of the inverter so as to prevent a flow of a q-axis current but cause a flow of a d-axis current to the rotary electric machine. The control unit stops the first control in a specified case and executes second control for performing the switching operation of the inverter so as to reduce the current flowing through the rotary electric machine to be lower than that during execution of the first control. The control unit executes third control for shutting down the inverter after execution of the second control.
Shunt resistor
A shunt resistor having sufficient bonding strength includes a resistor, a pair of bases which are integrally formed with the resistor so as to sandwich the resistor, recessed holes which are respectively formed in the bases, and measurement terminals which are inserted into the recessed holes and are affixed to the bases. Each measurement terminal has a shaft part and a flange part that protrudes outwardly in the circumferential direction of the shaft part. Each recessed hole is formed to have a diameter smaller than the diameter of the flange part, and the shaft parts are respectively inserted into the recessed holes.

A heat management control device for a vehicle that includes an electric motor and a power supply section that includes a storage battery and that supplies electrical power to the electric motor. The heat management control device includes a charging device that charges the storage battery through a connection to an external power source, a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange of heat generated by the charging device during charging with fluid flowing in a specific transport path. The heat management control device includes a heat storage section that uses a chemical reaction partway along the specific transport path in order to recover heat from the fluid and that stores the recovered heat, and a fluid supply controller that, from immediately after a vehicle is started, releases heat stored by the heat storage section to the fluid, and selectively supplies the fluid to a predetermined plurality of warm-up targets.

A power module apparatus includes a power module having a package configured to seal a perimeter of a semiconductor device, and a heat radiator bonded to one surface of the package; a cooling device having a coolant passage through which coolant water flows, in which the heat radiator is attached to an opening provided on a way of the coolant passage, wherein the heat radiator of the power module is attached to the opening of the cooling device so that a height (ha) and a height (hb) are substantially identical to each other. The power module in which the heat radiator is attached to the opening formed at the upper surface portion of the cooling device can also be efficiently cooled, and thereby it becomes possible to reduce degradation due to overheating.
