Combinational Heatsink Tube for Intercooler
A method for forming heatsink tube includes cutting a base sheet plate into a first molded frame and a second molded frame, applying a flux on an inner face of the first molded frame and the second molded frame, mounting the first molded frame on a heatsink fin module, and mounting the second molded frame on the first molded frame, to assemble the first molded frame, the heatsink fin module, and the second molded frame, and to form a heatsink tube. The first molded frame has a first end faceplate and two first connecting portions. The second molded frame has a second end faceplate and two second connecting portions. Each of the two first connecting portions is formed with a first abutting section, and each of the two second connecting portions is formed with a second abutting section.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HEAT EXCHANGER
A method for producing a heat exchanger is disclosed. The method includes a) providing two heat exchanger plates of the heat exchanger that are to be joined to one another; b) wetting at least one common local joining zone of the two heat exchanger plates with solder; c) forming the heat exchanger by brazing the two heat exchanger plates via local heating of the at least one common joining zone.

A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, a finned tube assembly for an air cooled condenser and method for forming the same, and a system for removing thermal energy generated by radioactive materials. In one aspect, an air cooled condenser sized for industrial and commercial application includes an inlet steam distribution header for conveying steam, a condensate outlet header for conveying condensate, an array of tube bundles each having a plurality of finned tube assemblies having a bare steel tube with an exposed outer surface and a set of aluminum fins brazed directly onto the tube by a brazing filler metal. The steel tubes may be spaced apart by the aluminum fins and have an inlet end fluidly coupled to the inlet steam distribution header and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the outlet header. A forced draft fan may be arranged to blow air through the tube bundles.

Thermosiphon systems for electronic devices
A thermosiphon system includes a condenser, an evaporator, and a condensate line fluidically coupling the condenser to the evaporator. The condensate line can be a tube with parallel passages can be used to carry the liquid condensate from the condenser to the evaporator and to carry the vapor from the evaporator to the condenser. The evaporator can be integrated into the tube. The condenser can be constructed with an angled core. The entire assembly can be constructed using a single material, e.g., aluminum, and can be brazed together in a single brazing operation.
Method of manufacturing actively cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration
Disclosed is an improved method of manufacturing cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration. In a preferred form, the method includes the steps of: machining a plurality of stubs, a first and a second end of a plurality of inconel pipes; welding the stubs with the first end of the inconel pipes forming a water connector assembly; machining of a base plate; welding the base plate with the water connector assembly; machining the base plate welded with the water connector assembly, wherein machining further comprises milling of plurality of cooling channels across angled plane of the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; closing of plurality of cooling channels located on the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; and welding each of plurality of external hydraulic circuits with the second end of each of the plurality of inconel pipes.

In one embodiment, the invention can be a vertical bundle air-cooled condenser comprising: at least one tube bundle assembly comprising: a tube bundle comprising a plurality of finned tubes arranged in a substantially vertical and side-by-side orientation, each of the plurality of finned tubes comprising a cavity; a top header pipe comprising an inlet header cavity operably coupled to a source of steam; a bottom header pipe comprising an outlet header cavity for collecting condensate; top ends of the plurality of finned tubes coupled to the top header pipe and the bottom ends of the plurality of finned tubes coupled to the bottom header pipe; and a shell having an open top end and open bottom end, the at least one tube bundle assembly positioned within the shell.
