Gas enclosure systems and methods utilizing an auxiliary enclosure
The present teachings disclose various embodiments of a gas enclosure system can have a gas enclosure that can include a printing system enclosure and an auxiliary enclosure. In various embodiments of a gas enclosure system of the present teachings, a printing system enclosure can be isolated from an auxiliary enclosure. Various systems and methods of the present teachings can provide for the ongoing management of a printing system by utilizing various embodiments of isolatable enclosures. For example, various measurement and maintenance process steps for the management of a printhead assembly can be performed in an auxiliary enclosure, which can be isolated from a printing system enclosure of a gas enclosure system, thereby preventing or minimizing interruption of a printing process.
Datacenter optics (DCO) edge mount transceiver assembly and plug connector
Embodiments include a high bandwidth optical connection system suitable for interconnecting servers, for example within a rack of a datacenter. An edge mount optical connector assembly includes an edge-mount housing providing topside socket contacts proximate to a first end of the housing and a port at a second end to receive an optical plug connector. A socket latch cantilevered from an anchor point on the housing includes a latching face to contact a keeper face disposed on the housing and a spring load application surface between the anchor point and the latching face to apply a spring force against the electrical contacts for retention of a removable optical transceiver module. An optical plug connector includes a front housing joined to a rear housing with a plug lens spring loaded within the housing and with alignment features comprising two flat alignment surfaces orthogonally oriented relative to each other.
Automated end effector component reloading system for use with a robotic system
A surgical instrument. The surgical instrument includes an end effector that comprises a staple channel and an anvil that is movably translatable relative to the staple channel. A tool mounting portion is configured to interface with a robotic system and operably communicate with the end effector. The instrument further includes a first sensor that has an output that represents a first condition of a portion of the robotic system. A second sensor has an output that represents a position of the anvil. A third sensor has an output that represents a position of a reciprocating knife within the end effector. An externally accessible memory device communicates with the first, second and third sensors.
Integrated nozzle and plug
A gas turbine engine includes a first annular portion that is stationary and adapted for partially surrounding an engine core. The first annular portion includes a fore pylon connecting portion. A rail is coupled to the fore pylon portion and extends in the aft direction from the stationary portion. A second annular portion is positioned aft of the first portion and coupled to the rail, the second portion being movable along an engine core centerline between a closed position and an open position, wherein the second annular portion is configured to engage with the first annular portion in the closed position to provide access to an engine core. The second annular portion includes a nozzle plug.
METHOD FOR RELEASING THE ROTOR POLES IN AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE
A method releases rotor poles of a large electrical machine from the rotor hub, which in the fitted state is located within the stator. In one method step, at least one device is introduced into the air gap between the sector and a rotor pole to be released. The device has a carrier plate and at least one cushion that can be filled with gas and is attached to the carrier plate. In a following method step, the cushions belonging to the device are filled with gas under pressure, the pressure being successively increased until the pole to be released has come away, and in that, in a following method step, the at least one device is removed from the air gap. In a further step, the released pole is pulled out of the rotor hub.
Chromatography column frame and method of conducting maintenance on and packing of a chromatography column
A chromatography column frame comprising at least two legs, a support arrangement connected to said at least two legs, and a holder connected to said support arrangement. Said holder is arranged to releasably hold an adaptor rod of a chromatography column, so that the adaptor rod is prevented to move in a horizontal direction and so the adaptor rod is allowed to move in a vertical direction.
Methods for installation of potted inserts having a latch mechanism
A method for use when retrofitting a panel of a storage compartment having a mechanical latch assembly with an electric latch assembly includes removing the mechanical latch assembly from the panel of the storage compartment; and preparing the panel of the storage compartment to receive a potted insert. The preparation may include defining and marking a location to receive the potted insert. The method may include removing a portion of the panel to define a potted insert cavity and inserting the potted insert through the potted insert cavity of the panel. The method may also include applying at least one of a potting compound and an adhesive to bond the potted insert to the panel and coupling a portion of the electric latch assembly to the potted insert.
Field removable choke for mounting in the piston of a rotary percussion tool
A choke assembly for controlling air flow into a piston of a percussion tool for downhole drilling includes a choke and a choke adapter. The choke comprises a choke body and a choke opening in the choke body for fluid to flow therethrough. The choke further includes one or more arm slots formed into the choke body between an inner wall of the choke body and an outer wall of the choke body. The one or more arm slots are designed to receive one or more arms of a choke change tool. The choke adapter has an adapter opening extending through the choke adapter. The choke is sized to fit in the adapter opening. The choke is removable from the choke adapter after the choke is inserted into the adapter opening.
WHEELCHAIR
A front wheel drive powered wheelchair is provided and may include a support frame, a pair of opposing drive wheels, a pair of drives, and a pair of rear wheels. The frame may include a front portion, a seat post, and two independent arms extending rearward from the front portion. Each drive wheel may be coupled to the front portion of the frame. Each drive may be mounted to the front portion of the frame and may be operatively connected to a respective drive wheel of the pair of drive wheels. Each rear wheel may be coupled to a respective independent arm of the support frame. Each independent arm may be capable of flexing independent of the other.
Servicing a nuclear reactor module
A system for servicing a nuclear reactor module comprises a crane operable to attach to the nuclear reactor module, wherein the crane includes provisions for routing signals from one or more sensors of the nuclear reactor module to one or more sensor receivers.
