Mechanically attachable fletching is disclosed herein for a projectile having a shaft having an exterior surface. The mechanically attachable fletching includes at least one fin, a connection section bordering the at least one fin, and at least one mechanical fastener for attaching the fletching to the exterior surface of the shaft via the connection section. Also disclosed herein are methods for mechanically attaching fletching to the shaft of the projectile. Also disclosed herein are illuminated projectiles. Also described herein is a projectile having a shaft, a projectile head, and at least one fin. The projectile head preferably has a plurality of layers, the head end preferably being associated with the projectile head. Also described herein is a projectile that includes a shaft, a suction head, an outer head casing, and at least one fin. The suction head is preferably associated with the head end. The at least one launcher engager is preferably associated with the suction head. Two halves of the outer head casing preferably sandwich the suction head and the head end.

For the passive alignment of parts, connection pillars of an alignment reference part are coupled to substrate holes, one or more light-emitting elements and one or more light-receiving elements are aligned in a row in a particular interval with respect to alignment holes arranged opposite each other in the alignment reference part, a lens-optical fiber connection part is aligned with respect to the alignment holes, and an optical fiber is aligned with the optical alignment point at a surface of a prism forming a portion of the lens-optical fiber connection part.

An alignment tool device for use in aligning a manway cover to a manway body/flange during installation of the manway cover includes a first plate with an L-shape has body with a pair of holes and a first tongue extending transversely from the plate. A second plate with an inverted-L shape has a body with a pair of holes and a second tongue extending transversely from the plate. The first plate is oriented substantially parallel to and opposing the second plate with the first tongue extending parallel to and overlapping the second tongue, where the first and second tongues extend in opposite directions. A height adjuster displaces the first plate relative to the second plate by adjustable engagement of the tongues.

A prosthetic heart valve can include a support structure, an actuator member, and a plurality of leaflets. The support structure can have a plurality of struts and a plurality of rivets. The struts can have openings formed therein. The rivets can have first portions and second portions. The first portions can extend through the openings of the struts, and the second portions are larger than the first portion and the openings of the struts. The struts are pivotable about the rivets to radially expand and compress the support structure. The actuator member can be coupled to the struts of the support structure and configured to selectively actuate expansion and compression of the support structure. The leaflets can be coupled to the support structure and configured to allow unidirectional blood flow through the prosthetic heart valve.

A filter arrangement for threadably securing to a filter head includes a housing having a surrounding wall defining an interior volume, an open mouth providing access to the interior volume and an end opposite of the open mouth. The surrounding wall has an exterior and an interior. A filter media construction is operably held within the interior volume. A sleeve, distinct from the housing, is secured to the exterior of the surrounding wall adjacent to the housing mouth and extending partially along the surrounding wall. The sleeve has an exterior and an interior. The exterior of the sleeve defines mounting threads constructed and arranged to removably mount with the filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. The interior of the sleeve is against the exterior of the surrounding wall. A first seal member is oriented against the sleeve to create a seal with a filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. A filter assembly includes a filter arrangement and a filter head. The filter arrangement is removably secured to the filter head by a threaded connection between the sleeve and the filter head. A system includes an engine utilizing a liquid and a filter assembly in fluid communication with the engine to filter the liquid. Methods of making filter arrangements include utilizing structures characterized above.

The present disclosure relates to a firearm which may include a frame with a first outer wall, and a second outer wall opposite the first outer wall. A laser module may be disposed between the first and second outer walls. An alignment pin may be in communication with the first outer wall and may be configured to move the laser module relative to the frame.
Method of reassembling a gas turbine engine
A method of reassembling a gas turbine engine including steps to support a core engine on a core stand and support a fan case on a fan stand that includes a base frame coupled a fan case frame by a hinge. The fan case frame is arranged to (i) rotate about an axis of the hinge between abutting the base frame and being perpendicular to the base frame, and (ii) tilt about a yaw axis perpendicular to the hinge, which is located in a plane of the fan case frame. The method includes rotating and tilting the fan case frame to align the fan case and core engine, translating at least one of the core engine and the fan case into axial abutment, coupling the fan case and the core engine to reassemble the gas turbine engine, and decoupling the fan case from the fan stand.
