Termination for sheathed tubing with leak containment and detection provisions
A fitting for an end of a length of corrugated tubing with an outer sheath includes an engagement ring for gripping the tubing adjacent to an endmost corrugation of the tubing to preclude axial displacement of the retainer on the tubing. The fitting also includes an end plug having at least one threaded surface and a hollow cylindrical part sized to admit and engage with the engagement ring. The end fitting also includes a nut having a threaded portion complementary with the threaded surface of the end plug and an inner surface that defines an inner cavity. An annular groove extends from the inner surface. A vent extends through the sidewall and is disposed between the threaded surface and the groove. A gasket is disposed in the annular groove and a portion of the gasket extends into the inner cavity and is configured to sealingly engage the sheath.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR CONCENTRATED SYRUPS AND DROPS
The principles of the present invention provide novel compositions and methods for making a low-chloride salt blend, high-concentrate beverage syrup. The method includes combining a high-concentrate beverage syrup and a salt blend low in chlorides to maintain organoleptic properties while minimizing corrosion of metallic components in beverage dispensers.
Apparatus and method for severing and inserting collated T-Nuts
A continuous strip of T-Nuts formed on a common strip of metal. Each T-Nut of the strip of T-Nuts is integrally connected to the next adjacent T-Nut by carry tabs. The carry tabs can be frangible themselves or contain a frangible portion. Each T-Nut includes a cylindrical bore therein and a threaded interior. A mechanism feeds and severs the endmost T-Nut in endwise fashion. The mechanism to feed and sever the endmost T-Nut includes a cutting blade positioned vertically below the frangible portion of the carry tab. A shearing ram having a guide positioned axially in line with the cylindrical bore in the endmost T-Nut is adapted to move vertically from an upper to a lower position to engage the cutting blade with the frangible portion and sever the endmost T-Nut.
Methods of using a fastener guide to install a fastener
A fastener guide defines a downward opening funnel having an upper end that transitions to an elongated barrel in which a drive feature is movably disposed. The funnel can fit over an upright fastener so that a head is guided into and enters the barrel a distance so the drive feature can align and register with the head in the barrel before the drive feature advances the fastener through the funnel. The guide can include a guide sleeve and a biasing element interposed between the sleeve and the barrel to urge the barrel from a retracted mode to an extended mode. The barrel can telescope relative to the sleeve in transitioning from the extended mode to the retracted mode, for example, when the funnel engages a board and the drive feature advances the fastener. The biasing element can compress during this telescoping. Related methods of using the guide are provided.
Sealed transverse locking pipe and fittings
A pipe and fitting coupling system includes a first pipe, a second pipe, and a joint. A receiving end of the second pipe includes a first flange, a second flange, a groove, and a sealant. The second flange extends further than the first flange. The groove is disposed at the pipe diameter and between the first flange and the second flange. The first flange has an inwardly angled face to meet the groove and the second flange has an outwardly angled face to meet the groove. The sealant is disposed in the groove to seal the plain end of the first pipe in the receiving end. The joint is formed by the cooperative alignment of the plain end being inserted into the receiving end and being sealed by the sealant.
Chair arm assembly
A chair assembly includes a four-bar arrangement that includes a lower end and an upper end where the upper end is adjustable between a raised position and a lowered position, and an arm rest assembly adapted to support the arm of a seated user thereon and supported on an upper end of the four-bar arrangement, wherein the lower end of the four-bar arrangement is pivotably supported from an arm support structure for pivotable movement about an arm pivot axis, such that the upper end of the four-bar arrangement is movable between a first position and second position located laterally outward from the first position, and wherein the arm pivot axis is angularly offset from a vertical axis.
Passive mattress spinner and methods
A system is disclosed for facilitating rotation of a mattress in a horizontal plane carried by a box spring or a platform. In order to facilitate rotation, slick surfaces between the mattress and the box spring or platform are selectively placed in engagement with each other, in one embodiment of the invention. The slick surfaces may be provided by two (2) separate covers; one cover for the mattress and one cover for the box spring, platform or bed skirt. One cover is provided with a slick and non-slick surface. The other cover may be the same as the first cover or may have slick surfaces on two sides. In an alternate embodiment of the invention, one of the covers may be provided as a protective cover that encapsulates the entire mattress. In another alternate embodiment, one cover may be provided that cooperates with a slick surface that is integrally provided on one or the other of the mattress or box spring or platform. In yet another alternate embodiment of the invention, slick surfaces may be provided on both the mattress and the box spring or platform. In this embodiment, in order to prevent movement of the mattress with respect to the box spring or platform, the mattress is secured relative to the box spring or platform by removable fasteners in a normal mode of operation.

Uniform equipment mounting system
A universal mounting system is provided for use in connection with substantially any type of electronic equipment so was to reduce or substantially avoid the need for rail kids or other mounting assemblies that are its equipment specific for mounting equipment to racks. In one implementation, a uniform mounting system (101) includes a number of rail and slider assemblies (112). Each of the rail and slider assemblies includes a slider that is slightly mounted on a support rail. Each of the slider is includes mounting flange is and brackets for mounting the slider to a piece of equipment. The mounting flanges 116 that's collectively define a segmented vertical rail. A safety stop mechanism can be used to define very a offset figurations of the equipment with respect to a front end of the rack.
CHAIR ASSEMBLY WITH UPHOLSTERY COVERING
A chair assembly includes an arm assembly that includes an armrest supported by a vertically adjustable support assembly and an arm base, where the arm base extends at an acute angle with respect to a longitudinal centerline of the chair assembly, an upholstery arrangement including a ring member attached to a cover, where the ring member includes a plurality of reliefs having a width that reduces as the ring member is wrapped about a shell member of the chair assembly, and a control arrangement having a biasing member that moves through an arcuate path as the biasing member is adjusted between varying bias settings.
