Method and apparatus for fitting a sleeve
Illustrative Embodiments may provide for an apparatus and method for fitting a first tube to a second tube. The apparatus may have a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section may engage each other to form a spreine. Each section may engage a sleeve. The spreine may encircle the sleeve encircling the first tube. The spreine may include a slider that may receive a force that may move the spreine and the sleeve, engaged within the spreine, and fit the first tube to the second tube. Fitting the first tube to the second tube may include engaging the sleeve with a first O-ring that may encircle a first ferrule in the first tube, and the sleeve simultaneously engaging a second O-ring encircling a second ferrule in a second tube.
Surgical Saw for Actuating a Saw Blade with an Oscillating Head, the Saw Having a Coupling Assembly for Releasably Holding the Saw Blade
A surgical sagittal saw for use with a complementary blade assembly that includes a static bar. The saw includes a head over which the blade assembly bar is seated. A coupling rod is able to be mounted to the head to move along the longitudinal axis of the rod. The coupling rod has a head that, as result of the longitudinal movement of the rod is moved towards and away from the head. A blade assembly may be disposed on the saw head adjacent the coupling rod. The coupling rod can be positioned in a run state so that the rod head abuts the bar of the blade assembly so as to hold the blade assembly to the saw head. Alternatively, the coupling rod can be repositioned in a load state the rod head is spaced from the saw head. This allows the blade assembly to be removed and replaced.
Method for delivering and setting self-piercing rivets
Fastener delivery apparatus for automatically selecting and delivering fasteners such as rivets to a setting tool. The fasteners are pre-loaded in a package and dispense via at least one fastener delivery tube that interconnects the setting tool to a fastener feeder device. The fastener feeder device releases selected fasteners from the package into the delivery tube. The fasteners are transportable individually or in groups in the tube from the feeder device to the tool. A transfer station attached to the tool or the delivery tube transfers a fastener from the delivery apparatus into the tool, transfer station is adjacent to the tool so that a delivered fastener may be inserted by the transfer station into the tool and a second position in which it is clear of the tool so as to permit the tool or a portion thereof to move towards a workpiece to insert a smooth, rapid and reliable delivery of fasteners of various sizes and types to the nose of a setting tool in any particular order and provides all the fastener types for any particular work cycle.
Pillow with toy attachment system
A pillow includes a compressible fill material and a flexible shell covering the fill material. A track is at least partially embedded in the flexible shell, and a clip is slidingly engaged with the track. The clip defines an opening for attaching an item to the pillow. Various kinds of items may be attached. In another variation, a slipcover includes a flexible shell configured to conform to an outer shape of a particular pillow, and also includes a track at least partially embedded in the flexible shell. A clip is slidingly engaged with the track and defines an opening.
FASTENER SYSTEMS THAT PROVIDE EME PROTECTION
Fasteners are inserted into a stack of members and terminated with parts having at least one of a dry dielectric coating and a dry dielectric seal at select locations to protect against electromagnetic effects (EME).
Devices, systems, and methods for prosthesis delivery and implantation, including the use of a fastener tool
Devices, systems, and methods for implanting radially expandable prostheses in the body lumens rely on tacking or anchoring the prostheses with separately introduced fasteners. The prostheses may be self-expanding or balloon expandable, and may include a single lumen or more than one lumen. After initial placement, a fastener applier system is introduced within the expanded prostheses to deploy a plurality of fasteners to at least one prosthesis end. The fasteners are usually helical fasteners which are releasably restrained on the fastener driver, and are delivered by rotation of the fastener driver. The fasteners may be applied singly, typically in circumferentially spaced-apart patterns about the interior of at least one end of the prosthesis. A lumen extension or lumens may be coupled to the prosthesis to extend the reach of the prosthesis within the implantation site. Fasteners may also be applied to the lumen extensions.
Attachment system
An attachment system is provided which may include a cord, a fastener coupled to a first portion of the cord, a tensioner coupled to a second portion of the cord, and a first fitting arranged to couple either the fastener or the tensioner to the cord. The tensioner is configured to retain a third portion of the cord to maintain the tension in the cord. An attachment system may include a first working component configured to be coupled to the cord, and a first fitting arranged to couple the first working component to the cord. The first working component may have a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the first fitting, and the first fitting may have an actively moveable element configured to retain the cord when the first fitting is positioned in the working component cavity.
Lock ring
A lock ring that has a first ring half, a second ring half and a latch assembly. The first ring half includes a nest opening on a front portion of the first ring half, a back end portion of the first ring portion hingedly connected to a back end portion of the second ring half. The latch assembly is connected to a front portion of the second ring half. The latch assembly includes a connection arrangement and a spring system. The connection arrangement is designed to be releasably positionable in the nest opening. The spring system is designed to cause the front portions of the first and second ring halves to be drawn toward one another when the connection arrangement is positioned in the nest opening.
Power supply and method for assembling power supply
A power supply includes a housing, a power module, a top cover, a sealing sheet, and a filling member. The power module is disposed in the housing. The top cover is disposed above the housing. The sealing sheet is at least partially disposed between the housing and the top cover. The filling member is disposed between the housing and the sealing sheet.
Method and apparatus for repair of vehicle door handles
A repair kit can be used to repair broken interior door handle assemblies on certain vehicles, and replaces the original equipment door handle support housing with a replacement housing, without having to replace the entire door panel. The method includes removing the original (broken) door handle housing from the back side of the door panel by drilling or otherwise removing the plastic rivets that secure the original handle housing to the door panel. The replacement housing is then installed on the back side of the door panel in place of the original and screws are installed into drilled-out plastic rivet locations in the door panel through apertures in the replacement door handle housing to secure the replacement door handle housing to the door panel.
