HIGH-HYDROPHOBIC, LOW-BLEEDING COLOR LAKE POWDER, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME AND USE THEREOF
A high-hydrophobic, low-bleeding color lake powder, a method for preparing the sane and a use thereof are provided. A color lake powder is dispersed into water, and a pH value of a system is adjusted to a range of 4 to 5.5. Then surface treating agents such as a silane coupling agent, a titanate coupling agent, a hydrogenated lecithin and an aliphatic acid are used to modify the color lake powder. Then pulverizing and drying the resultant to obtain the modified color lake powder.
Composition for keratin fibers comprising a direct dye
The present invention relates to a composition for treating keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising: (a) at least one direct dye; (b) at least one oil; (c) at least one polyol; and (d) water, wherein the amount of the (a) direct dye(s) in the composition is 0.01% by weight or more relative to the total weight of the composition, and the amount of the (b) oil(s) in the composition is 20% by weight or more, preferably 30% by weight or more, and more preferably 40% by weight or more, relative to the total weight of the composition, provided that the (b) oil comprises at least one silicone oil. The composition according to the present invention is stable and can be used for coloring keratin fibers, in particular for the maintenance of the color of the keratin fibers, while providing the keratin fibers with smoothness and alignment.
Process of coloring keratinous material comprising the use of an organosilicon compound, an effect pigment, a further coloring compound and a film-forming polymer II
A process and a kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material, in particular human hair, are provided. An exemplary process for dyeing keratinous material includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material. The agent (a) includes (a1) at least one organic silicon compound selected from the group consisting of silanes having one, two or three silicon atoms, and (a2) at least one first colorant compound including at least one lenticular substrate platelet based pigment. The process further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material. The agent (b) includes (b1) at least one film-forming polymer and (b2) at least one second colorant compound selected from the group consisting of pigments and/or direct dyes.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR COLORING KERATINIC FIBERS
Cosmetic compositions and methods for changing the color of keratinic fibers are provided herein. In an embodiment, a cosmetic composition for lightening the color of keratinic fibers includes at least two separately packaged formulations (A) and (B), which are mixed immediately prior to application to give an application mixture. The formulation (A) includes at least one dye chosen from the group of oxidation dye precursors, direct dyes, or a combination thereof. The composition (B) is a flowable composition including water and at least one oxidizing agent. Formulation (A) has been packaged in a water-soluble film including, based on its total weight, at least about 60% by weight of a polymer mixture having a multimodal molecular weight distribution.
Copolymers in cosmetic compositions
The present invention concerns the use of a specific copolymer to homogenize compositions that include coloring pigments and/or pearlescent pigments and film-forming polymers, as well as the cosmetic compositions containing said copolymer.
METHOD FOR TREATING AND COLORING HAIR COMPRISING UN-PIGMENTED HAIR
Described herein is a method for treating and coloring hair including un-pigmented hair. The method includes (a) providing a first composition including one or more heavy metal ion sequestrants; (b) applying the first composition to the hair; (c) providing a second composition including one or more weak acids having a pKa from 2.5 to 5; (d) applying the second composition to the hair; (e) providing a third composition including one or more direct dyes chosen from nitro dye, disperse dye, cationic dye, acid dye, basic dye, neutral azo dye and mixtures thereof, and (f) applying the third composition to the hair. The third composition is able to decrease the reflectance of un-pigmented hair in a wavelength range from 530 nm to 670 nm.
Methods, compositions and uses relating thereto
A method of combatting colour loss from a dyed material, the method comprising the steps of: (1) contacting the material with a composition comprising an electrophilic species selected from aldehydes, succinimidyl esters, and mixtures thereof; (2) contacting the material with a composition comprising a chelating agent and/or a salt of an amine and/or a carboxylic acid.
