The present invention relates to an aerosol device comprising a container containing: one or more propellants, a hair composition comprising: (i) one or more polymers containing a silicone unit bearing alkoxy-(aminomethyl)-silyl functional groups; (ii) one or more amphoteric fixing polymers and/or one or more cationic fixing polymers; the propellant(s) possibly being present in the composition or, in the container, separate from the composition.

The invention relates to the use of an ampholyte copolymer as a colloidal stabilizer in the preparation of aminoplast core-shell microcapsules containing an active material, wherein the ampholyte copolymer comprises: 2 to 99 mol % of cationic monomer having at least one quaternary ammonium group, 1 to 98 mol % of acrylic based monomer, 0 to 97 mol % of non-ionic monomer,
and wherein the ampholyte copolymer has more cationic charges than anionic charges, wherein the cationic charges of the ampholyte copolymer are exclusively due to the at least one quaternary ammonium group of the cationic monomer.
Active-substance mixtures for styling agents
Cosmetic agents and methods for temporarily shaping keratin-containing fibers using the cosmetic agents are provided herein. In one embodiment, the cosmetic agent includes a cosmetic carrier. The cosmetic agent further includes at least one chitosan or derivative thereof. The cosmetic agent further includes at least one hydrophobic pyrogenic silicic acid. The cosmetic agent also includes at least one non-ionic, anionic, or amphoteric film-forming polymer. In another embodiment, the method includes the step of using the cosmetic agent for temporarily shaping keratin-containing fibers.
Clear suspending personal care cleansing compositions
Compositions of the present invention include an anionic surfactant, a zwitterionic surfactant, a superhydrophilic amphiphilic copolymer, an organic acid; and a polymer selected from the group consisting of a non-hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer and a non-crosslinked hydrophobically modified acid-swellable emulsion polymer, wherein, when the composition contains the non-hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer, the non-hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer is present in an amount of about 0.1% to 5% by weight, and when the composition contains the non-crosslinked hydrophobically modified acid-swellable emulsion polymer, the non-hydrophobically modified acid-swellable emulsion polymer is present in an amount of about 0.1% to 5% by weight, and wherein the composition has an NTU value of 95 or less, a yield value of about 0.1 Pascal or more and pH of from about 3 to about 6.5.
SULFATE-FREE DILUTABLE COMPACT PERSONAL CLEANSING COMPOSITION
A stable, compact, low-viscosity personal care compositions that includes 20-40% total surfactant and is free of sulfated surfactants. The total surfactant includes at least 50% anionic surfactant and 10%-40% amphoteric surfactant. The anionic and amphoteric surfactants are present at ratio to provide the personal care composition with a Compact Viscosity of less than 2000 mPa-s and a Dilute Viscosity of greater than 2000 mPa-s. The personal care composition may optionally include an electrolytic viscosity modifier to tune the viscosity. The compact personal care composition is formulated to enable convenient dilution by a user and, when diluted, provide a desirable cleaning experience.
Xanthan structured high polyol liquid cleansers
The invention relates to high polyol compositions comprising foaming, preferably mild surfactants. While xanthan gum is normally incompatible with such composition, applicants have surprisingly found compositions (having specified particles size) and process for making such compositions such that xanthan gum can now be used as structurant.
