Internal olefin sulfonate composition and cleansing composition containing same
Provided is an internal olefin sulfonate composition which is capable of exerting good foamability together with good volume of foam, foaming speed, foam dissipation property, foam quality, foam durability in the presence of sebum, and volume of foam in the presence of sebum at high levels, and a cleansing composition containing the same. The internal olefin sulfonate composition of the present invention comprises (A) an internal olefin sulfonate having 16 carbon atoms and (B) an internal olefin sulfonate having 18 carbon atoms, wherein a mass content ratio (A/B) of component (A) to component (B) is from 75/25 to 90/10, and wherein a mass ratio (hydroxy form/olefin form) of a content of a hydroxy form in the internal olefin sulfonate of the component (A) and the component (B) to a content of an olefin form in the internal olefin sulfonate of the component (A) and the component (B) is from 75/25 to 100/0.

Composition comprising an anionic-ampholytic polymer association
Disclosed are compositions for washing, cleansing, and/or conditioning keratinous substrates, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium: a) at least one anionic film-forming polymer chosen from polymers and copolymers of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and/or mixtures thereof; b) at least one ampholytic polymer having at least one acrylic acid moiety and a cationic charge density ranging from greater than 1 meq/g up to about 3.5 meq/g; and c) at least one surfactant base; wherein the at least one anionic film-forming polymer and the at least one ampholytic polymer form an association; and wherein the pH of the composition ranges from about 5 to about 7. Also disclosed are processes for washing, cleansing, and/or conditioning keratin substrates using the composition, and processes for imparting volume to the hair.

The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing human keratin fibers such as the hair, in mousse form, comprising: (a) at least one oxidation dye precursor; (b) at least one amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactant; (c) at least a second surfactant chosen from nonionic and anionic surfactants, or mixtures thereof; (d) at least one fatty substance; (e) at least one nonionic guar gum. The invention also relates to a process for dyeing human keratin fibers, in which is applied a composition preferably in foam form, obtained by mixing the above mentioned composition, free of oxidizing agent other than atmospheric oxygen, with a composition comprising at least one oxidizing agent other than atmospheric oxygen, and also to a suitable multi-compartment device.
Composition and process for semi-permanent straightening of the hair
The present invention provides a hair straightening composition with improved ease of use and reduced smoke development during the application of a straightening iron. The invention also relates to a process for cleansing and conditioning keratin fibres and also to a use involving said composition.
