NANO-EMULSION COMPOSITION FOR SKIN CARE APPLICATION
A nano-emulsion composition for skin care application is provided. The nano-emulsion composition being oil-in-water composition. The nano-emulsion composition includes at least one oil, at least one hydrophilic compound to create an aqueous phase, at least one water soluble phytoactive compound, and at least one oil soluble phytoactive compound. The nano-emulsion composition also includes a combination of polyglycerol fatty acid esters as emulsifiers. The combination of polyglycerol fatty acid esters comprises a first polyglycerol fatty acid ester and a second polyglycerol fatty acid ester in a ratio of 1:1. Further the nano-emulsion composition includes at least one preservative. The nano-emulsion composition being a low viscous fluidic vehicle to be used as serum, micellar water, facial cleanser etc. The nano-emulsion composition being capable of retaining high storage stability over a wider temperature range. The invention also provides a skin care composition and a cosmetic comprising the nano-emulsion composition.
Ingestible tablet or powder type oral cleaning composition
An oral cleaning composition in ingestible tablet or powder formulation contains natural materials. It has an advantage of portability because it is provided in a tablet or powder form instead of a liquid or gel form. In addition, the composition does not contain synthetic chemical components but uses only natural materials and can be safely ingested after use, and, thus, it does not require a space where it can be spit out. Furthermore, it exhibits excellent efficacy in inhibiting oral bacteria and removing bad breath.
CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS
A cleansing composition and method of using a cleansing composition, the cleansing composition including a blend of three different emollients, the emollients including a first stearic ester, a second stearic ester, and a branched hydrocarbon, where the first stearic ester and second stearic ester are different from each other.
CELL HYDROLYSATE COMPOSITION FROM CULTIVATED CELLS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
A cell hydrolysate composition, the composition comprising substantially all protein polypeptides and/or polypeptide fragments derived substantially from all the proteins in a cell from an in vitro cell culture.
COMPOSITION CONTAINING PLANT EXTRACTS
The present invention relates to a composition comprising plant extracts. The composition according to the present invention has a skin whitening effect by reducing the total amount of melanin and tyrosinase activity in melanocytes of the skin, promotes skin regeneration and increases skin elasticity or reduces skin wrinkles by promoting collagen synthesis and inhibiting collagenase activity in fibroblasts of the skin, has an anti-inflammatory effect or a skin soothing effect by inhibiting NO generation, increases the amount of moisture in the skin and has a moisturizing effect by promoting generation of hyaluronic acid in fibroblasts, and has an antioxidant effect by scavenging free radicals. In addition, since the composition of the present invention exhibits a broad antibacterial effect against various bacteria, the composition may be used as a cosmetic composition, a pharmaceutical composition, a skin external preparation, or a food composition.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
A method of reducing the appearance of hyperpigmented skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to hyperpigmented skin a composition comprising an aqueous and/or glycerin extract of Rhododendron ferrugineum leaf to reduce melanocyte pigmentation in the skin.
Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol for fabric staining reduction
The present invention relates to the use of methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, optionally in combination with tris-biphenyl triazine, to reduce fabric staining of a sunscreen or daily care composition, wherein the sunscreen or daily care composition comprises (i) at least one particulate UV-f liter; and/or (ii) at least one oil soluble UV-A filter, wherein the at least one oil soluble UV-A filter is present in an amount of at most 3% by weight, based on the total weight of the sunscreen or daily care composition; and/or (iii) at least one water soluble UV filter. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, optionally in combination with tris-biphenyl triazine, to facilitate the washability of such sunscreen or daily care compositions from textiles.
AN ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOSITION FOR TACKLING MALODOUR
The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition, more particularly to a method and a composition to prevent or treat malodour, especially body malodor. This is achieved through a composition that comprises alkyl substituted dihydroxy benzene in combination with thymol or terpineol. The composition is also seen to have anti-acne benefits.
High-Potency Vitamin C Chemical Peeling Solutions
Topical formulations including a combination of L-ascorbic acid, a urea agent and a chemical exfoliant dissolved in a non-aqueous skin-compatible solvent are provided. The topical formulations including a chemical exfoliant can be used as a chemical peeling solution. The formulations are storage stable for an extended period of time without significant degradation of the L-ascorbic acid or urea in the composition, are have several desirable physical properties when topically applied to skin. Topical compositions of this disclosure find use in treating or preventing a variety of cosmetic and/or dermatological conditions as well as to reduce the appearance of chronological and/or environmentally-caused skin aging. In some embodiments, the topical composition finds use as a chemical peeling solution, e.g., to facilitate shedding of the top layers of skin cells after topical administration.
MICROEMULSION COMPOSITION AND COSMETIC CONTAINING THE SAME
A microemulsion composition containing: (A) a polyether-modified organopolysiloxane shown in the following general formula (1) having an HLB of 8.0 or more calculated by Griffin's method; (B) a polyether-modified organopolysiloxane shown in the following general formula (7) having an HLB of 5.0 or less calculated by Griffin's method; (C) a glycerol derivative shown in the following general formula (8); (D) a polyhydric alcohol other than the (C); (E) a silicone oil having a kinematic viscosity of 20 mm.sup.2/s or less at 25° C.; and (F) water, where a ratio (A)/(B) of a mass of the (A) to a mass of the (B) satisfies 1.0 to 15.0 and the microemulsion composition has a transparent to translucent appearance at 25° C. This provides a microemulsion composition having a transparent to translucent appearance.
