SKIN HYDRATION COMPOSITION
A topically administrable moisturising composition for moisturising the skin of a subject, said moisturising composition comprising (i) a plurality of conjugates wherein each conjugate is comprised of a nanodiamond and a plurality of water molecules, and (ii) a carrier media for topical administration.
PVD-ALUMINUM PIGMENT DISPERSION AND COSMETIC FORMULATIONS
This invention is directed to an effect pigment dispersion comprising a PVD-aluminum pigment, a leafing additive and an oil suitable for cosmetic skin care or color cosmetic applications, wherein a) the amount of the PVD-aluminum pigment is in a range of 8 to 30 wt.-%, b) the amount of the oil is in a range of 70 to 90 wt.-%, each based on the total weight of the effect pigment dispersion and c) the leafing additive is partly adsorbed on the surface of the PVD-aluminum pigment and partly an excess additive dissolved in the oil, wherein the amount of excess leafing additive is in a range of 0 to 25 wt.-%, based on the weight of PVD aluminum pigment. Further cosmetic skin care of color cosmetic formulations containing this effect pigment dispersion are described.
Skin Protecting Cosmetic Concealer Ointment
A therapeutic ointment is disclosed that is a cosmetic concealer that conceals and protects wounds, burns, rashes, and other skin conditions by incorporating a plurality of anti-microbial metal oxides with iron oxide pigments, petrolatum and tocopherol acetate or a comparable organic carrier emulsion into a skin-tone protective ointment concealer that protects the wound, promotes healing and renders the wound or wounded area less visible or invisible on the skin.
BIOAVAILABLE CURCUMIN NANOPARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING
Formation of low-crystallinity curcumin nanoparticles via controlled supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO.sub.2) impregnation of curcumin into biodegradable nanoporous starch aerogels and methods of preparing these aerogels are disclosed. The nanoporous starch aerogels increase water solubility and bioaccessibility of the curcumin, thereby making them available for preparation of high nutraceutical value foods.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION WITH A METALLIC EFFECT
A cosmetic composition including, in a continuous aqueous phase, at least one colouring agent chosen from hydrophobic treated nacres, at least one hydrophilic gelling agent and water. Also, a method for preparing such a cosmetic composition, to a method for makeup of keratin materials using same, and to the use of this cosmetic composition in order to obtain an aqueous metallic effect or “mirror effect” on the keratin materials.
METAL EXTRACTION SHEET, MASK PACK INCLUDING SAME AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE METAL EXTRACTION SHEET
The present disclosure relates to a metal material extraction sheet. According to an aspect of the disclosure, the metal material extraction sheet having a predetermined area may be provided, wherein dopamine whose color is changed when reacting with a metal material is provided on at least a part of the outer surface of the metal material extraction sheet.
POWDER COMPOSITIONS HAVING REDUCED FRAGILITY
Pressed powder compositions are provided. The compositions include at least about 80% by weight of a mineral portion. The mineral portion comprises at least one alkylsilane-coated mineral; polyhydroxystearic acid, synthetic mica, and less than about 12% by weight of binding agents. Methods of shadowing the eyes and methods of forming pressed powder compositions are also provided.
DUST-FREE COLD-WATER-DISPERSIBLE PREPARATIONS
The present invention relates to dust-free preparations dispersible in cold water. These preparations consist of particles comprising water-insoluble or only sparingly water-soluble active substance(s), said particles being coated with one or more layers, the outermost layer comprising as principal component one or more hydrophobic powdering agents on which at least one dispersant is absorbed. The invention also relates to a process for producing these particles and to the use thereof in food supplements, foodstuffs, animal feeds, personal-care products, and medicaments.
Makeup-protecting material
To provide a makeup-protecting material that has an excellent color migration prevention effect, causes no color bleeding over time, gives no coating film appearing whitish, and gives no squeaky or burdensome feeling. A makeup-protecting material comprises (A) 80 to 95% by mass of trifluoropropylcyclopolysiloxane, (B) a fluorine compound-treated silica, and (C) 2 to 8% by mass of a partially crosslinked, fluorine-modified organopolysiloxane polymer.
TINTED MINERAL SUNSCREEN COMPOSITIONS
A tinted mineral sunscreen composition is provided in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion comprising a cationic surfactant; one or more oil thickening agent; one or more mineral pigments; one or more mineral UV filtering agents; and water wherein the ratio between the cationic surfactant and the total amount of oil thickening agents is from about 0.05 to about 3.
