Faucet assembly including a thermostatic mixing cartridge
A faucet assembly including a faucet body having a spout, a base, and hot and cold water flow control valves. The base houses a thermostatic mixing cartridge that tempers hot and cold water and has passageways that place tempered water from the thermostatic mixing cartridge and a cold water passageway in selective fluid communication with the outlet of the spout. During use, mixed water from the thermostatic mixing cartridge is regulated by the hot water control valve, cold water is regulated by the cold water control valve, and both the mixed water and the cold water are further mixed at a juncture of the mixed water passageway and the cold water passageway prior to exiting the faucet assembly via the outlet of the spout.
Thermal management valve
A three-port fluid control valve and a valve assembly using the fluid control valve are provided herein. The valve includes a first inlet, a second inlet, and a sealing element to selectably open one inlet to fluid communication with an outlet and to close the other inlet to fluid communication with the outlet. The valve system includes an actuator, for example a solenoid, to provide accurate and responsive control of the position of the sealing element.
Urea solution pumps having leakage bypass
Urea solution pumps having leakage bypass flowpaths and methods of operating the same are disclosed. Certain embodiments are pump apparatuses including an inlet passage in flow communication with a source of urea solution and a pump chamber, an outlet passage in flow communication with the pump chamber and an exhaust after treatment system, a diaphragm facing the pump chamber and coupled with an actuator, a first housing member coupled with a second housing member form a seal around the pumping chamber, a leak collection chamber surrounding the seal, and a return passage in flow communication with the leak collection chamber and the inlet passage. Urea solution that leaks from the pump chamber past the seal is received by the leak collection chamber and flows through the return passage to the pump inlet passage.
Faucet assembly
A faucet assembly includes a bushing defining a cutout at a portion of a first end, and a control handle received on the first end of the bushing. The control handle includes an inner wall defining a set screw bore therein, and an outer wall spaced apart from the inner wall, the outer wall defining a visible bore therethrough. The control handle further includes a cavity at least partially defined between the inner wall and the outer wall. The cavity is configured to receive at least a portion of the cutout.
Dual fuel heating system
A dual fuel heating system can be used in a gas appliance. A dual fuel heating system can have a fuel selector valve for selecting between a first fuel and a second fuel different from the first. The dual fuel heating system can include a regulator unit configured to regulate the pressure of the two different fuels. The selector valve determines which flow path for which fuel is open and which is closed.
Faucet including a molded waterway assembly
A faucet including a molded waterway assembly having a plurality of tubes overmolded within a valve interface member.
Cold water delivery system
A cold water delivery system is described that can consistently provide cold water at a desired temperature over repetitive and large draws from the outlet of the system. The cold water system can provide multiple pathways for the water to travel from a source, or inlet, to the outlet. A cooling system can be provided that cools a plurality of reservoirs of water. The reservoirs can maintain cold water at different temperatures. A control system controls the cooling system to maintain the temperature of the water in the reservoirs. The control system can also control one or more mixing valves to determine the volume of water from each of the reservoirs and the water inlet that reaches the outlet.
Flow control valve
The present disclosure relates generally to a faucet valve cartridge configured for use within a dual handle faucet. The valve cartridge includes an upper plate and a bottom plate received within a valve housing and configured to control fluid flow from an inlet to an outlet. The valve may include anti-water hammer port geometry to reduce turbulent flow and shut-off shock wave noise.
Urea injection systems valves
Apparatuses and methods for urea dosing of an exhaust after treatment system are disclosed. Exemplary apparatuses include a chamber configured to receive pressurized gas at a first inlet, receive urea solution at a second inlet and provide a combined flow of pressurized gas and urea to an outlet, flow passage extending from the first inlet to a seating surface, and a valve member configured to move between an open position in which the valve member is spaced apart from the seating surface and a closed position in which the valve member contacts the seating surface. As the valve member moves from the open position to the closed position, the valve member contacts the seating surface at a first location and wipes an area of the seating surface extending from the first location in a direction toward the flow passage.
Flow rate range variable type flow rate control apparatus
A pressure type flow rate control apparatus is provided wherein flow rate of fluid passing through an orifice is computed as Qc=KP1 (where K is a proportionality constant) or as Qc=KP2.sup.m (P1-P2).sup.n (where K is a proportionality constant, m and n constants) by using orifice upstream side pressure P1 and/or orifice downstream side pressure P2. A fluid passage between the downstream side of a control valve and a fluid supply pipe of the pressure type flow rate control apparatus comprises at least 2 fluid passages in parallel, and orifices having different flow rate characteristics are provided for each of these fluid passages, wherein fluid in a small flow quantity area flows to one orifice for flow control of fluid in the small flow quantity area, while fluid in a large flow quantity area flows to the other orifice for flow control of fluid in the large flow quantity area.
