Control valve assembly
Embodiments of the invention provide a control valve assembly that includes a piston slidably seated within a valve chamber and moveable between multiple positions to adjust a flow rate of fluid through the control valve assembly. The piston comprises flow zones and seal surfaces to define variable flow rates related to the position of the piston within the valve chamber and to selectively seal with the valve chamber.
Hydraulic system including manifold, flush valve, and shut off
Hydraulic devices used to control timing, direction, and velocity of fluid flow are disclosed. The hydraulic device includes a flush valve. The flush valve includes one or more venturi that assist in moving the fluid through flush valve. A manifold includes a housing defining a piston cavity and a piston. The piston is moveable within the piston cavity by a piston actuator between a first position and a second position. A manifold inlet defined by the housing is configured to receive a first fluid from a supply line and is in fluid communication with the piston cavity. A manifold outlet is defined by the housing and is in fluid communication with the piston cavity in. In the first position, the piston prevents fluid communication between the manifold inlet and the manifold outlet through the piston cavity. In the second position, the manifold inlet is in fluid communication with the manifold outlet such that the first fluid can flow from the supply line to the manifold outlet through the piston cavity.
SELECTOR VALVE FOR MEDICAL FLUID DELIVERY DEVICE
A selector valve for a medical fluid delivery device is disclosed. The valve includes a valve bore in fluid communication with an outlet channel, first and second outlet ports, and a selector valve body which includes a valve stem located within the valve bore and having a flow passage. The selector valve body is adapted to place the flow passage in fluid communication with one of the first outlet port, the second outlet port, and a shut-off position.
Linear hydraulic valve
Examples are provided that describe a linear hydraulic valve. In one example a linear valve comprises a sleeve with a plurality of ports spaced apart from each other at a distance. The plurality of ports are associated with a plurality of pressurized fluids. A spool comprising a plurality of openings that correspond to the plurality of ports is provided within the sleeve. The plurality of openings are spaced apart in a manner that enables alignment of a given opening of the plurality of openings to a given port of the plurality of ports based on a given position of the spool within the sleeve. The linear valve comprises an actuator for moving the spool in a forward or reverse linear motion along a longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The spool may be moved to a given position based on selection of a pressurized fluid of the plurality of pressurized fluids.
Vertical slide backwash valve
Provided is a backwash valve comprising a body including a central tube extending along a length of the body, a first pool port and first filter port axially aligned at a first position along the body length, a second pool port and second filter port axially aligned at a second position along the body length, and a waste port; and a sliding gate including a stem connected to a gate body, the gate body including first and second chambers separated by an internal wall; the sliding gate movable between a filter position wherein fluid communication is provided among the first filter port, first chamber, and first pool port, and a backwash position wherein fluid communication is provided among the first filter port, second fluid chamber, and second pool port, and between the second filter port and waste port.
Continuous multi-fluid pump device, drive and actuating system and method
A selector valve for a medical fluid delivery device is disclosed. The valve includes a valve bore in fluid communication with an outlet channel, first and second outlet ports, and a selector valve body which includes a valve stem located within the valve bore and having a flow passage. The selector valve body is adapted to place the flow passage in fluid communication with one of the first outlet port, the second outlet port, and a shut-off position. Further, the selector valve body includes a sealing arrangement having an elastomeric core disposed within a thin-walled valve stem which comprises a thin cylindrical sidewall in direct contact with the valve bore. When the elastomeric core and the valve stem are subjected to internal fluid pressure, the thin cylindrical sidewall of the valve stem expands outward to increase a sealing force between an outer diameter of the valve stem and the valve bore.
Valve system for internal combustion engines
A valve system for an internal combustion engine includes a housing, a drive unit arranged in the housing, at least one valve unit, at least two gas inlet ducts, and a gas outlet duct. The at least one valve unit comprises at least one valve rod, at least one valve closure body, and at least one valve seat. The at least one valve unit is connected to the drive unit. The at least two gas inlet ducts form exactly one of the at least one valve seat which is configured to cooperate with exactly one of the at least one valve closure body.
Slide valve
A slide valve comprises a bushing in which fluid openings are provided which extend through the wall of the bushing, a slide which is arranged adjustably in the bushing and is provided with at least one fluid duct, and an electroactive polymer actuator which can adjust the slide in the bushing.
Pressure limited flow spool
A valve includes a pressure limiting flow spool disposed in a valve body. The spool is movable in a first direction from a first position to a second position and in the first direction from the second position to the third position. The valve includes an inlet and a first outlet. The first position is a closed position preventing flow from the inlet to the first outlet, the second position is a maximum flow position having a maximum flow capacity from the inlet to the first outlet, and the third position is a pilot flow position having a reduced flow capacity from the inlet to the first outlet smaller than the maximum flow capacity.
Electromagnetically controlled injector having flux bridge and flux break
An injector for injecting a reagent includes an axially translatable valve member positioned within a housing. An electromagnet is positioned within the housing and includes a cylindrically-shaped coil of wire. The valve member moves between a seated position and an unseated position in response to energizing the electromagnet. A flux sleeve passes through the coil and includes two magnetic portions interconnected by a flux bridge portion or a flux break portion. Each of the magnetic portions is aligned with transverse planes defined by the ends of the cylindrical coil. The flux bridge portion or flux break portion is axially positioned between the transverse planes.
