A fiber placement system for manufacturing composite components includes at least one material storage enclosure including a material spool assembly, a swiveling roller assembly, and a redirect roller assembly, for each tow to be produced per course, at least one material feeding/cutting station configured with a nip roller drive system, and a cutting mechanism, at least one material transfer station configured with an individual, moveable guide tray for each tow to be produced per course, the moveable guide trays respectively being configured with a vacuum system, and at least one layup station comprising a vacuum table/layup surface, and a pick-and-place device equipped with an end-effector.

Method and device for producing a ply involved in the construction of a multi-ply panel

There is a method for producing a ply involved in the construction of a multi-ply panel for constructing or adding to a wall, floor or ceiling, or a sloping part for a building. The ply includes a juxtaposition of strips, either structural strips or filling strips, positioned between the structural strips and made of a different material from that of the structural strips. The materials are selected for the thermal or acoustic insulation thereof, the thermal inertia thereof or the fire rsistance thereof. Each lateral movement of a ply being produced with respect to the assembly plane is carried out by the synchronized movement of a table with which the lower face of the ply is in contact and a driver with which the upper face of the ply is in contact. There is an installation for implementing the method according to the invention.

FIBER ENFORCED THIN BRICK SHEET AND PROCESS
20170159298 · 2017-06-08 ·

A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.

Methods for laminating composites

Composite tape is laminated onto a substrate using a gantry to move a tape laminating head along the length of the substrate. The laminating head is mounted for movement along a beam on the gantry that extends across the width of the substrate. The direction of lamination may be altered by changing the angular orientation of the beam.

Process for Inhibiting Galvanic Corrosion of an Aluminum Structure Connected, Without Using a Splice Plate, to a Composite Structure Having a Fiber Including Graphite

A composite structure comprises stacked sets of laminated fiber reinforced resin plies and metal sheets. Edges of the resin plies and metal sheets are interleaved to form a composite-to-metal joint connecting the resin plies with the metal sheets.

ULTRA-THIN GLASS ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE AND A STRIPPING METHOD AND ATTACHING PROCESS THEREOF,AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD OF A DISPLAY DEVICE
20170106643 · 2017-04-20 ·

The present application discloses an ultra-thin glass attachment structure and a stripping method thereof, and a manufacturing method of a display device. The ultra-thin glass attachment structure comprises: an ultra-thin glass layer, a bonding layer and a carrier substrate which are attached and provided sequentially; the bonding layer comprises a plurality of first stretchable structures tiled, and every two of first stretchable structures are all provided separately; the stripping method comprises: driving the first stretchable structures in the bonding layer expand; stripping the ultra-thin glass layer; the manufacturing method of a display device comprises the above stripping method. Embodiments of the present application largely reduces the bonding area between the ultra-thin glass layer and a carrier substrate, reduces the suction force between the two, reduces the difficulty of stripping the ultra-thin glass layer from the carrier, avoids damage to the ultra-thin glass, improves product yield.
