Label peeling device
According to one embodiment, a label peeling device includes a tray, a pressing unit, and a control unit. The tray is configured to support a label sheet thereon. The pressing unit is configured to be driven in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the label sheet. The control unit is configured to drive the pressing unit toward a central portion of the label sheet supported on the tray. The control unit performs peeling control to peel a liner sheet and a label body of the label sheet from each other by pressing an edge of the label sheet and thereby curving the label sheet.
Processing apparatus and processing method of stack
A processing apparatus of a stack is provided. The stack includes two substrates attached to each other with a gap provided between their end portions. The processing apparatus includes a fixing mechanism that fixes part of the stack, a plurality of adsorption jigs that fix an outer peripheral edge of one of the substrates of the stack, and a wedge-shaped jig that is inserted into a corner of the stack. The plurality of adsorption jigs include a mechanism that allows the adsorption jigs to move separately in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction. The processing apparatus further includes a sensor sensing a position of the gap between the end portion in the stack. A tip of the wedge-shaped jig moves along a chamfer formed on an end surface of the stack. The wedge-shaped jig is inserted into the gap between the end portions in the stack.
METHODS FOR PROCESSING A SUBSTRATE
A method of processing a substrate, with a first major surface of the substrate removably bonded to a first major surface of a first carrier and a second major surface of the substrate removably bonded to a first major surface of a second carrier, includes initiating debonding at a first location of an outer peripheral bonded interface between the substrate and the first carrier to separate a portion of the first carrier from the substrate. The method further includes propagating a first debond front from the first debonded location along a first direction extending away from the first debonded location by sequentially applying a plurality of lifting forces to the first carrier at a corresponding plurality of sequential lifting locations of the first carrier.
PAD REMOVAL DEVICE AND METHOD
A pad removal device includes a pad guide extending along a first direction. The pad guide includes a first affixing component configured to affix a first end of the pad guide to a pad at a first pad edge location, and a second affixing component configured to affix a second end of the pad guide to the pad at a second pad edge location opposite the first pad edge location. The pad removal device further includes an actuator attached to the pad guide, and a control assembly coupled to the actuator and configured to cause the actuator to move the first end toward the second end along the first direction. The pad guide is configured to extend in a second direction different from the first direction by an amount dependent on a distance between the first end and the second end.
FOIL PEELING APPARATUS
A foil peeling apparatus adapted to a substrate having a foil thereon includes a foil peeling member, a connector and a controller. The foil peeling member has a foil peeling surface. The controller controls the connector to drive the peeling member to move along a path. The foil peeling surface of the peeling member in contact with, with an initial angle, the substrate, feeds toward the substrate for a first displacement, and then moves upwards and toward the substrate when the first feeding angle is decreased.
Pad removal device and method
A pad removal device includes a pad guide having a first end and a second end along a first direction, an actuator attached to the first end, and a control assembly coupled to the actuator. The control assembly is configured to cause the actuator to move the first end toward the second end along the first direction, and the pad guide is configured to extend in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction by an amount dependent on a distance between the first end and the second end.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF FORMING A COMPOSITE LAYUP STRUCTURE
A layup system for use in forming a composite layup structure from a plurality of plies of composite material, wherein an outermost ply of composite material has a removable film adhered thereto. The system includes a robotic device and an end effector coupled to the robotic device. The end effector includes a layer of compressible material configured to compress the plurality of plies of composite material together when positioned over the composite layup structure. The end effector further includes a first suction device configured to grip the removable film adhered to the outermost ply of composite material. The robotic device is configured to translate the end effector relative to the composite layup structure such that the removable film is peeled from the outermost ply of composite material while the first suction device grips the removable film.
