BODY CAVITY IRRIGATION INTEGRATED MANUAL CONTROLLER AND PUMP DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for performing irrigation of a body cavity includes a reservoir containing an irrigation liquid, a catheter and a controller. The catheter is configured to be at least partially inserted into the body cavity and has a flushing passage, a drain passage and a retention balloon. A waste drain valve is in fluid communication with the drain passage of the catheter and is movable between a closed configuration, where waste is retained within the drain passage, and an open configuration where waste flows through the drain passage. The controller is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the catheter, and has a pump and a valve assembly. The valve assembly is changeable between configurations where, when the pump is actuated, irrigation liquid is pumped from the reservoir to the retention balloon, from the reservoir to the flushing passage of the catheter and from the retention balloon to the reservoir.
Portable container
Provided is a portable bidet capable of maintaining the quality of cleaning water. A portable bidet is configured to include a tank portion formed to be compression-deformable and restorable to its original shape, a nozzle that is connected to the tank portion and can discharge a fluid, and a sealing portion that is provided continuously to the nozzle. The tank portion and the nozzle are connected via a cylindrical portion having a cylindrical shape. In a sealed state where the fluid is sealed by the sealing portion, the fluid is fully filled in a storing chamber in a state where the tank portion is compressed, and in an opened state where sealing by the sealing portion is released, the tank portion is restored to its original shape, and a volume of the storing chamber is expanded as compared with a volume of the storing chamber in the sealed state.
Antimicrobial compositions and uses thereof
In some aspects, provided herein are antimicrobial compositions comprising partially esterified polygalacturonic acid and certain fatty acids (e.g., caprylic acid). In some embodiments, the antimicrobial composition may be administered (e.g., topically or orally) to a subject, such as a human patient to treat an infection (e.g., an infection comprising a biofilm). In some aspects, improved catheters are provided.
Disposable sterile cover for ear washing machines
The disposable protective cover for ear washing machines is designed to protect a patient's ear from bacteria or infection during use of the machine. The cover is a flexible, resilient tube having an open end and a reinforced ring about the open end. The opposite end of the tube is hemispherical and closed, but having a central, circular opening for ear washing solution from the ear washing machine to exit the cover and enter the ear. To place the cover on the ear washing machine's nozzle, the cover is first rolled up to form a disc and the protective cover is placed against the nozzle with the central opening aligned with the nozzle's circular outlet port. It is then unrolled as much as possible over the outer surface of the nozzle. The protective cover is disposed of after each use to prevent the spread of bacteria or infection between patients.
Urethral delivery device
An urethral antimicrobial delivery device (1) comprising; a deformable reservoir (101) in fluid connection with an elongate member (102), the elongate member comprising a lumen, the elongate member having a proximal end and a distal end, the elongate member having a plurality of pores (103) defined therein, said pores being distributed along a length of said elongate member, the elongate member being dimensioned for insertion through an external urethral orifice of a female subject, whereby the elongate member is insertable into a distal urethral cavity for delivery of an antimicrobial in said distal urethral cavity, and wherein the device comprises a collar (105) to prevent said elongate member entering a proximal urethral cavity.
UNIVERSAL CAPPING SYSTEM AND THE METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A universal capping system to implement in any bottle-coupling part to sealingly cap over bottle openings of various sizes. Such bottle-coupling part can be a douche nozzle, a liquor pour spout, an olive oil pour spout, and just a bottle closing cap. This universal capping system has a cap top and a downward-extending resilient circular seal.
SYSTEMS AND DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR REPLACING AN EYE DROPPER TIP ON AN EYEDROPPER BOTTLE WITH A REPLACEMENT EYEDROPPER TIP
Systems, devices, and methods for replacing an eyedropper tip on an eyedropper bottle with a replacement eyedropper tip. Such a system may include, without limitation, a removal tool, an application tool, and a replacement eyedropper tip. The removal tool may be used to remove a preexisting eyedropper tip on an eyedropper bottle, and the application tool may be used to apply the replacement eyedropper tip to the eyedropper bottle. In some embodiments, the replacement eyedropper tip and the application tool may be formed as a single unit or effectively be the same component.
Pressure-Stabilized Ear Flushing Device Capable of Being Operated with One Hand
The present invention relates to a pressure-stabilized ear flushing device capable of being operated with one hand, comprising a spray bottle, a spray gun, a long rod for solution transition, and an adapter and a flushing head provided on the long rod. The flushing bottle is provided with a suction tube. The suction tube is connected with the spray gun. The spray gun and the spray bottle are threaded or snapped. The spray head on the spray gun is connected with a long rod. The end of the long rod is connected with a triangular flushing nozzle or an adapter. The other end of the adapter is connected with a hose flushing head. The device of the present invention improves the existing ear flusher, flushes earwax better, treats ears, and is capable of being operated with one hand, which is convenient for users and patients. The device is equipped with a variety of flushing heads, which is suitable for a wide range of people and is convenient and fast to operate.
DEVICES, METHODS, AND COMPOSITIONS FOR CONTROLLING INFECTIONS
The subject invention provides novel and highly effective methods and devices for convenient and effective wound irrigation.
Irrigation system comprising dual pumps
An irrigation system is disclosed that can be uses in, for example, rectal irrigation. The system comprises a reservoir for an irrigating liquid and a probe for arrangement in a user. The probe includes an inflatable balloon for fixing the catheter in a body cavity. A first pump is provided to pump irrigation liquid from the reservoir to the probe, and a second pump is provided to pump a fluid to the balloon for inflation. A control unit controls the transfer of the irrigation liquid and the fluid, and includes a valve for releasing fluid from the balloon for deflation. Tubing provides fluid communication between the reservoir, control unit and probe. The control unit and the first and second pumps are further arranged as an integrated unitary component, and the manually operable balloon control element is arranged in the vicinity of the second pump.
