LAVAGE SYSTEMS AND DEVICES HAVING MULTIFUNCTIONAL APPLICATION MEMBER
A system for applying a lavage fluid to a surface, the system having a body configured to house a lavage fluid and a multifunctional application member in fluid communication with the body, wherein the multifunctional application member is configured to dispense the lavage fluid, and wherein the multifunctional application member is configured to provide more than one selectable function.
LAVAGE SYSTEMS AND DEVICES HAVING A VENTING COMPONENT
A system for applying a lavage fluid to a surface, the system having a body for housing a lavage fluid, an application member in fluid communication with the body, the application member being configured to dispense the lavage fluid along a flow path, and a venting component, the venting component having a fluid channel configured to provide fluid communication between the body and an external environment, and at least one filter provided relative to the fluid channel sufficient to filter gas, such as air, passing through the fluid channel, at least a portion of the fluid channel being separate from the flow path.
Disposable nasal and eye wash dispenser
An apparatus for rinsing sinuses or eyes, comprising a hand crushable container containing saline solution, and a dispenser configured to make a liquid tight seal with the container at one end, and a liquid tight seal with a nostril or an eye socket at the other end.
AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION-COORDINATED LITHOTRIPSY
Systems and methods for controlling an energy output setting of a lithotripsy device during a lithotripsy procedure are provided. The system includes a laser or other lithotripsy device configured for facilitating the lithotripsy procedure, an irrigation system configured for supplying an irrigant such as saline to a surgical site, and a temperature sensor configured to provide temperature data associated with the irrigant. The system can modulate the energy output setting of the lithotripsy device based on an estimated temperature that is determined based at least in part on the temperature data and one or more other factors such as a current energy output setting or a flow rate of the irrigant.
COLLECTOR FOR LIQUIDS
A collector (1) for collecting a liquid resulting from a nasal wash, the collector (1) comprising a funnel-shaped body (10) which terminates in a duct (12) that extends between an inlet (14) and an outlet portion (16) provided with coupling members (160) pre-arranged for coupling in a fluid-tight manner with a test tube (162) through a respective mouth (164); the duct (12) having filtering members (20) for the liquid.
Treatment of Paranasal Sinus Disease
A method for the treatment of paranasal sinus disease, administering a treatment formulation or a drug treatment formulation through the nasal cavity directly into a paranasal sinus.
SYRINGE ACCESSORY DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A syringe accessory device which provides ergonomic advantage by allowing use of adductive thumb and finger force during aspiration, comprising a unitary structure, and configured for ease of attachment to a typical syringe. The accessory is comprised of three main sub-structures, contiguously formed, namely a plunger flange attachment, a syringe barrel attachment, and a linking element between the two attachments.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADMINISTERING LIQUID TO THE EAR CANAL
In one embodiment, a delivery device for administering liquid includes a bottle body having a bottle neck, a bottle cap configured to attach to the bottle neck, a nozzle associated with the bottle cap, and a valve assembly associated within the nozzle, the valve assembly comprising a liquid metering valve configured to ensure a precise, predetermined volume of liquid exits the nozzle each time a user actuates the delivery device.
COLLECTOR FOR LIQUIDS
A collector (1) for liquids provided with a first funnel-shaped body (10) delimited at the top by an annular edge (12) and provided at the bottom with an outlet (11) for liquids and with coupling means (100) for removable collection members (102) of the liquids from the outlet (11); a first front wall (120) and a second rear wall (122) carried in a hydraulically sealed manner by the annular edge (12) between two sides (124) of the first body (10) and mutually facing one another; the second wall (122) being delimited at the top by a concave curved segment (1220) shaped for shape coupling, in use, with an anatomic facial portion arranged between a user’s top lip and nose.
Device for Treating Uterine Bleeding and Method of Use
Disclosed is a device for treating uterine bleeding, the device comprising a shaft having proximal and distal ends, with one or more lumens therethrough, a deployable sleeve at the distal end and/or an occlusive flange between the proximal and distal ends. The device is useful in a method of treating uterine bleeding comprising inserting the distal end of the device into a patient's uterus, deploying the sleeve, and/or deploying and locking the flange against the cervix, and introducing a treatment fluid through a lumen in the shaft. An example treatment fluid may be a sclerotherapeutic agent or a saline solution.
