Panel
The invention relates to a panel including an upper side, an underside, a basic body, complementary locking means, which are provided in pairs on mutually opposite panel edges, and at least one pair of locking means having a receiving hook and an arresting hook. The receiving hook has a hook periphery and a receiving recess. The arresting hook has an arresting recess, an arresting shoulder, a transverse-joint surface and a vertically acting arresting contour. The receiving hook also has a transverse-joint surface and a form-fitting contour. The arresting hook also has a horizontal locking surface on its arresting shoulder. The receiving hook also has a horizontal locking surface in the receiving recess and contains a receiving opening.
Removable wall decoration kits, systems and methods
Systems and kits for decorating walls include a plurality of dcor assemblies and a plurality of complementary fastening structures. The dcor assemblies include a dcor element and a releasable fastening structure providing first fastening elements. The complementary fastening structure includes a base, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the base, and second fastening elements. The first fastening elements are releasably mateable with the second fastening elements to define a releasable fastening system. During use, a complementary fastening structure is releasably applied to a wall, and is connected to and supports one of the dcor assemblies via the releasable fastening system. The releasable fastening system can comprise low profile hooks and loops, exhibiting relatively low holding power.

Insertion block for the formation of a hook field on an injection-moulded object, and a moulded object comprising a hook field of this type
Object molded in thermoplastic material in any shape having an outer surface from which protrudes at least one hook in one piece with the molded object, in particular a hook field, the molded object and the hook(s) having been formed by injection molding, each hook comprising a base part and a head or hooking part protruding from the base part and being delimited by first and second lateral surfaces each extending on the outer surface of the molded object, being separated from each other by an intermediate surface forming the edge of the hook, the curve sections, defined by the intersections of at least one of the first and/or second lateral surfaces with planes which are in parallel with the base plane from which the hook protrudes and which are at given distances h from this base plane, have a curvature which varies as a function of the distance h, the curvature of the curve section for h=0 (the base plane and said parallel plane merging) being greater than the curvature of at least one curve section for a distance h substantially corresponding to a level of the head of the hook.
Dermal heatsink exhibiting hydrophilic and contaminant resistant properties and method for fabricating a dermal heatsink
One variation of a method for fabricating a dermal heatsink includes: fabricating a substrate defining an interior surface, an exterior surface opposite the interior surface, and an open network of pores extending between the interior surface and the exterior surface; activating surfaces of the substrate and walls of the open network of pores; applying a coating over the substrate to form a heatsink, the coating comprising a porous, hydrophilic material and defining a void network; removing an excess of the coating from the substrate to clear blockages within the open network of pores by the coating; hydrating the heatsink during a curing period; heating the heatsink during the curing period to increase porosity of the coating applied over surfaces of the substrate; and rinsing the heatsink with an acid to decarbonate the coating along walls of the open network of pores in the substrate.
Elastic laminate with hooks
Elastic laminate with hooks comprising an upper layer (2) of nonwoven fabric extending in width in a direction CD and in length in a direction MD, a web (5) with hooks (10) comprising a strip, in particular made of thermoplastic material, from which hooks protrude, and which is attached onto the upper face of the upper layer of nonwoven fabric, the hooks being intended to engage with loops according to a hook-and-loop fastening system, an elastic film (3; 4) extending in the direction CD over a width less than or equal to the width of the upper layer (2) of nonwoven fabric, the upper face of the elastic film (3; 4) being attached to the lower side of the upper layer of nonwoven fabric, the web with hooks extending between respective side end points, left-hand and right-hand respectively, and characterised in that one (Pg6; Pd6) of the two side end points (Pg6, Pd6), left-hand and right-hand respectively, of the web (5) with hooks is located vertically in line with a point of the elastic film.
ATRAUMATIC WOUND CARE AND CLOSURE SYSTEM
An article useful for atraumatic care and/or closure of wounds, as well as for repairing torn or ripped fabric is provided. The article comprises a substrate having opposing first and second major surfaces, a plurality of raised anchoring members disposed across the first major surface, and an optional adhesive pre-mounted adjacent the second major surface. A separate adhesive could also be used to mount the article to the desired underlying surface to be repaired. The substrate is a flexible and conformal continuous web that can be cut into pieces to custom fit the wound or fabric opening. Using the anchoring members and a thread, the pieces can be drawn together to correspondingly draw the tissue or fabric on either side(s) of the opening together, thereby closing the opening without piercing or suturing/sewing together the underlying tissue or fabric. Methods for the atraumatic care and/or closure of wounds, as well as for repairing torn or ripped fabric are also provided, including kits to facilitate the same.
Attachment systems and methods usable to form enclosures
Enclosures and panels for forming such enclosures can include a first edge having a front side and a rear side, each side having a first portion of a fastening medium thereon, and a second edge having first and second flaps, each flap having an inner surface with a second portion of the fastening medium thereon. The flaps of a first panel can engaged with the front and rear sides of an adjacent panel, and similarly, any number of adjacent panels can be engaged in this manner to form a sealed enclosure, usable for maintaining a pressure differential between the interior and exterior thereof.
