Vented dispensing device and method
Disclosed is a fluid dispensing device that includes at least one reservoir to hold the therapeutic fluid, at least one other unit requiring communication with ambient air, at least partly, to operate, and at least one housing defining an interior to retain the at least one reservoir and the at least one other unit. The at least one housing has at least one vent port formed on one or more of its walls. The at least one vent port is adapted to direct or communicate air to maintain pressure equilibrium between the air pressure in the interior of the at least one housing and the ambient air pressure outside the at least one housing, and provide communication with the ambient air to the at least one other unit requiring air to enable operation of the at least one other unit.
Propellant powered syringe with trigger
A syringe propellable by propellant that boils at a predetermined temperature, the syringe including a barrel having an outlet at a front end, and a stopper axially moveable in the barrel. The stopper separates a first chamber and a second chamber, the first chamber being axially forwards of the stopper and being configured for containing a medicament, and the second chamber being axially rearwards of the stopper and being configured to receive propellant for acting on the stopper to move the stopper axially forwardly in the barrel to expel medicament through the outlet upon actuation of the syringe. The syringe further includes a third chamber for containing propellant. Upon actuation of the syringe, liquid propellant is released from the third chamber and boils outside of the third chamber at or above the predetermined temperature to provide an increasing vapor pressure in the second chamber that causes the stopper to move axially forwardly and begin to expel medicament through the outlet. At least one trigger for triggering an action is provided, the trigger activated in response to the pressure in the second chamber satisfying a predetermined condition.

AGENT ADMINISTERING MEDICAL DEVICE
A medical device that comprises an enclosure defining a cavity for containing an agent, a lumen for receiving a pressurized fluid, a channel between the cavity and the lumen, and a barrier positioned in the channel and defining a space, wherein in a first position of the barrier, the space is in fluid communication with the cavity to receive the agent from the cavity, and wherein the barrier is configured to rotate from the first position to a second position in which the space is in fluid communication with the lumen to deliver the agent from the space to the lumen.

AGENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medical device comprising a housing defining at least one enclosure for storing agent in a first form, a force applicator within the housing and adjacent the enclosure, a drive mechanism for moving the agent toward the force applicator, wherein the force applicator defines a surface for applying a force to the agent to separate the agent into particles smaller than a size of the first form, and wherein the device defines a lumen for receiving the particles from the force applicator and for receiving a pressurized fluid to propel the particles through the lumen.

INFUSION OF DRUGS
The present invention relates to a method of replenishing a system for injecting a substance into the patient's body, when the system is implanted in the patient's body. The method involves replenishing the implanted reservoir by a replenishing needle penetrating the patient's skin and injecting infusion liquid comprising the substance through the replenishing needle directly or indirectly into the reservoir.

INFUSING DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present disclosure includes systems, methods, and apparatuses for dispensing a volume (e.g., a volume of liquid or medication) during intraosseous infusion. In some embodiments, a resilient member is used to bias a portion of an arm towards a contracted position with a force sufficient to depress a plunger of a syringe, and a damper is used to resist movement of the portion of the arm from the extended position toward the contracted position to control a rate at which the resilient member can move the portion of the arm from the extended position toward the retracted position, and thereby limit the rate at which a volume is dispensed from the syringe. In other embodiments, a flow control valve may be used instead of a damper to limit the rate at which a volume is dispensed from the syringe.
