A tether system and apparatus is provided for securing a handheld device to a user. The tether apparatus includes a harness having an elastomeric body configured to engage the plurality of corners of the handheld device thereby releasably securing the elastomeric body to the handheld device, a fastener configured for releasably engaging an article worn or borne by a user, and an elongated tether interconnecting the fastener and the harness. A first end of the tether is connected to the elastomeric body, and a second end of the tether is connected to the fastener. The elastomeric body and the elongated tether may be monolithically formed. The tether apparatus allows a user to easily retrieve the handheld device if dropped.

A key locator with tracking capability. A bent rod-shaped first member has a bent first end portion and a second end portion. A second member is configured for selectively retaining keys. The bent first end portion and second end portion are opposed to each other. The bend rod-shaped first member incorporates a planar bent center region intermediate to the bent first end portion and the second end portion to form the interior of the key locator. The bent first end portion and the second end portion are not urged against each other and are configured to allow the bent center region to hang from an edge. The bent first end portion of the bent rod-shaped first member substantially permanently and flexibly interlocks with the second member. A tracking device is connected to the key locator and is in radio frequency communication with a user's smart phone. In a preferred embodiment the tracking device enables a user of the smart phone to find the key locator if it is lost or misplaced.

The present invention provides a method for performing a graph-based prediction using a graph signal including obtaining a context signal; generating a graph signal based on a graph parameter set; obtaining a graph-based transform matrix based on the graph signal, wherein the graph-based transform matrix includes an eigenvector; obtaining a prediction vector using an optimal transform vector calculated through an optimization function; and generating a prediction signal using the prediction vector, where the optimization function has the context signal, an eigenvalue of a graph Laplacian matrix and the eigenvector as a variable.

GRIP APPARATUS

A grip system comprises a protective case and a grip apparatus. The grip apparatus is attached to a back surface of the protective case. The grip apparatus includes a base, two flexible strips or straps, and a cap. The base is configured to be removably inserted into the recess in the back of the protective case. The two flexible strips are each attached to the base. The cap is proximate a top surface of the base when in a stowed position and extendable away from the top surface of the base when the cap is pulled outward to an extended position. Each flexible strip is configured or adapted to slide within a slot or channel in the cap. Each flexible strip slides into the slot when the grip apparatus is transitioned to the stowed position and slides out of the slot when transitioned to the extended position.
