Drug delivery device adapted to receive a cartridge and including a housing, a front-loaded cartridge holder adapted to receive and hold a cartridge in a loaded position, and stop structure adapted to engage a proximal surface of a received cartridge The stop structure is actuatable between a receiving state in which the stop structure is positioned in a first axial position thereby defining how far proximally a received cartridge can be inserted, and an operational state in which the stop structure allows an inserted cartridge to be moved axially to a second more proximal position.

The present disclosure relates to a medicament container assembly (11) for a medicament delivery device, comprising: an elongated body (3) configured to receive a medicament container (17) and provided with a radially flexible first gripper arm (3f) extending in the axial direction of the body (3) and an oppositely arranged radially flexible second gripper arm (3g) extending in the axial direction of the body (3), wherein the first gripper arm (3g) and the second gripper arm (3f) are configured to support a neck portion of a medicament container, and a clamp member (13) configured to be arranged radially outside of the first gripper arm (3f) and the second gripper arm (3g), to press the first gripper arm (3f) and the second gripper arm (3g) radially inwards, to prevent proximal displacement of a medicament container.

A cartridge holder for retaining a cartridge comprising a distal end and a proximal end being spaced apart from one another in the direction of an axis, an interior which is suitable to receive and retain a cartridge in a cartridge retaining section of the interior, and a main part and at least one protrusion which is moveably connected to the main part. The protrusion is arranged to define the radial extension of a subsection of the interior, wherein the subsection is arranged at an axial position which is further away from the distal end than the cartridge retaining section. Furthermore, the protrusion is arranged to vary the radial extension of the subsection when the protrusion is moved with respect to the main part. Moreover, a method for securing a cartridge in a cartridge holder is proposed.

The present disclosure provides a medicament container carrier of a medicament delivery device, the medicament container carrier including a tubular body for receiving a medicament container, the tubular body extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal open end and a distal open end, the tubular body including a fastener. The medicament container further includes a proximal cap with a tubular cap body. The tubular cap body extends along the longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end. A slot extends on the tubular cap body from the proximal end to the distal end. The tubular cap body includes a ledge extending from an inner surface of the tubular cap body. The ledge is radial relative to the longitudinal axis, and the ledge is configured to support a shoulder part of the medicament container of the medicament delivery device. The proximal cap includes a counter fastener offset relative to the ledge in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The proximal cap is attached to the proximal end of the tubular body through an engagement between the fastener and the counter fastener.

A surgical instrument for perforating dense tissue of a human or animal body and for injecting a pharmaceutical product behind the tissue. The instrument includes a hand-piece with a housing for a pharmaceutical product container. The hand-piece has two opposite ends, one of which includes an axial throughway leading into the housing for passing a perforator injection needle inserted in the container. The other end is used to drive the container and needle in rotation. The surgical instrument further includes a member that, during perforation, can exert pressure on the pharmaceutical product in the container inserted in the housing to prevent perforation debris from entering into the needle.

A drug delivery device may include a housing having an opening and a drug storage container having a body portion with a proximal end and a distal end and a delivery member extending from the distal end of the body portion.
