Safety device for prefilled syringes, comprising an anti-triggering mechanism
Disclosed is a method for assembling a safety device and mounting the safety device on a syringe member before the syringe member is filled, said method comprising the steps of: providing a sleeve, a spring element and a mounting element; introducing the spring element into the sleeve along a mounting direction; introducing the mounting element into the sleeve along the mounting direction; obtaining the safety device; before the syringe body is filled, mounting the safety device on the syringe body by connecting the mounting element to the syringe body.
Safety device for a syringe
The invention relates to a safety device for a syringe for avoiding stab wounds, said syringe having a syringe body and a piercing means arranged on the distal end of the syringe body. The safety device comprises a sleeve element that extends along an axial direction (X) and encloses at least partly the piercing means and the syringe body, and a collar element that can be arranged on a distal end region of the syringe body and locks the safety device in the axial direction (X), said collar element having at least one guide projection which engages at least one guide track of the sleeve element. The safety device is further characterized by having a cap element that can be arranged at least in sections on top of the sleeve element and by means of which the sleeve element can be locked with respect to the movement of the syringe body relative to the sleeve element.
Sealed Medication Dispensing and Administering Device
A sealed medication dispensing and administering device has a syringe, a plunger, a connecting holder, an elastic valve, and a liquid stopper. The syringe has an outer barrel having an air inlet tube and an inner barrel inserted inside the outer barrel and having a medication inlet tube. The plunger is inserted within the outer and inner barrels. The connecting holder is connected to the syringe and has a connecting cover with at least one outer connecting hole and two piercing needles respectively piercing inside the air inlet tube and the medication inlet tube. Inner spaces of the two piercing needles communicate with the at least one outer connecting hole. The elastic valve selectively covers the two piercing needles. The fluid stopper is disposed within the connecting cover and blocks one of the at least one outer connecting hole and the inner space of the air inlet tube.
Passively shielding needle assembly with skin sensor
A shielding needle assembly is provided with a hub having a needle cannula with a puncture tip extending from a forward end thereof, and a shield member in telescoping association with the hub. A drive member biases the hub and the shield member away from each other for relative telescopic movement between a first position in which the puncture tip extends from a forward end of the shield member, and a second position in which the puncture tip is encompassed within the shield member. A pivoting lever maintains the hub and the shield member in the first position against the bias of the drive member. The lever is pivotable during contact with a patient's skin surface, thereby releasing the hub and the shield member from the first position and permitting the drive member to bias the hub and the shield member toward the second position.
PREFILLED AND PRELOADED SYRINGE INJECTION INDUCER
The invention relates to an injection inducer device for use with a conventional injection syringe prefilled with a liquid medicament or preloaded with a soft capsule containing a liquid medicament. The device includes a seal preloaded in a front adapter end of the injection at position close to an injection opening of the adapter end and formed with a recessed guide groove. The device further includes a removable needle mounted at its front end with an adaptive cover, so that the removable needle can penetrate through the seal along the guide groove to enter a storage chamber of the injection syringe. The seal has a length in the longitudinal direction greater than the bevel length of the removable needle. The invention constitutes a substitution for the conventional medication bottles by virtue of the advantages of high portability, light weight, low frangibility, and high endurance for long distance transport.
Locking hemodialysis needle assembly with integral needle tip protector
A needle assembly for medical or surgical use is disclosed, such as for hemodialysis. A representative needle assembly comprises an outer needle assembly and an integral needle tip protector. A representative outer needle assembly comprises: an outer needle comprising: a first lumen; a first aperture with a sharp needle tip at a first distal end of the outer needle; and a second aperture arranged opposite the first aperture. In another embodiment, the outer needle has a longitudinal slot and the integral needle tip protector includes a sliding connector which is slidable in the longitudinal slot. The integral needle tip protector is arranged within the first lumen and moveable between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration, and comprises: a needle tip cover arranged to shield the sharp needle tip in the extended configuration, the needle tip cover having a smooth or beveled distal surface forming a blunt tip.
ANESTHESIA APPLICATORS/INJECTORS FOR DENTAL AND OTHER APPLICATIONS AND METHODS OF USE
Disclosed are applicators and methods injecting of a liquid anesthetic into a dental patient with no or minimal pain. In accordance with one embodiment the applicator is for intraligamentary injection and includes an elongated, thin member having an open distal free formed of a resilient and somewhat conformable material suitable for producing a substantially fluid-tight interface with the anatomic structures at the gingival sulcus to inject the anesthetic therein. In another embodiment the applicator includes a flexible skirt surrounding a sharpened cannula, with the cannula being movable with respect to the skirt. The skirt is arranged to receive the anesthetic to anesthetize the gum, whereupon the cannula can then pierce the gum to inject the anesthetic into the underlying anatomic structure.
Syringe for injecting drug solution into upper layer of skin
A syringe for injecting a drug solution into an upper layer of skin includes an injection needle having a needle hole communicating from a needle tip to a needle proximal end, the injection needle having a blade face at the needle tip; and a needle hub having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion, the needle hub holding the injection needle at the distal end portion. The needle hub has a needle tip side end face, and the needle tip protrudes from the needle tip side end face. A protruding needle length of the needle tip from the needle tip side end face is 1.15 mm0.1 mm, and a blade face length of the blade face along an axis of the injection needle is 0.60 mm0.15 mm.

Syringe assembly, cap, and puncture needle
A syringe assembly includes a barrel having a barrel tip portion, a puncture needle projecting from the barrel tip portion, and a cap that is detachably mountable to the barrel so as to seal a distal end of a needle hole. The cap has a receiving hole that receives the puncture needle, a bottom wall portion into which the puncture needle is inserted, and a stopper portion that defines an insertion length of the puncture needle relative to the bottom wall portion. In a state in which the cap is mounted to the barrel, the length from the most proximal position of a contact region between the cap and the puncture needle to the most proximal position of an edge surface is 1 to 3 mm.
