Injection monitoring device
Drug delivery systems, devices and methods of use for recording a drug dose completion signal in a data management system are provided. Aspects of the invention include drug delivery systems comprising a syringe stopper rod that comprises a sensor component comprising a wireless transmitter module and an activation component configured to activate the sensor component when the syringe stopper rod has completed a delivery stroke, wherein the wireless transmitter module is configured to transmit a report comprising a drug dose completion signal when the sensor component is activated.
Safety needles and methods of use thereof
A needle protection assembly, adapted to protect a tip of a hypodermic needle, comprising a shield adapted, in a protected operative orientation of the needle protection assembly, to shield the tip of the hypodermic needle, a locking element including at least one slot, the slot including at least three surfaces corresponding to three operative orientations of the shield, at least one slot engaging element, functionally associated with the shield, the slot engaging element being disposed within the slot of the locking element and movable relative thereto, between the surfaces, so as to transition the shield between the three operative orientations, and at least one biasing element, adapted for axial biasing of the shield, wherein the three operative orientations include a storage operative orientation, an injection operative orientation, and a needle protection operative orientation.
Fertility kits with syringes and collection jars, and method of use
A fertility kit for performing self-insemination, comprising a package with three sets of sterilized disposable syringes and collection jars. Each fertility syringe comprises: an outer rigid tubular barrel and an inner plunger. The barrel comprises a curved distal end with a small circular distal opening, and a sealed proximal end, and an inner hollow tube housing the plunger. The barrel's proximal end also comprises two opposing circular members to fit a user's fingers; and a plunger flat end fitting in-between. The plunger distal end has a has a funnel-like shape that fits into the barrel curved end to push all the semen out while preventing a backflow. The collection jar comprises a sealable lid, and an inner surface comprising smooth seamless edges. Fresh or frozen, unwashed semen is deposited into the jar, pulled into the syringe, and administered cervically during a user's maximum monthly level of luteinizing hormone.
Injection device
A device for dispensing a controlled amount of a fluid from a syringe, the syringe having a plunger extending along a linear axis through a syringe flange and into a syringe barrel. The device includes a housing to accommodate at least a portion of the syringe, and a drive wheel attached to the housing to contact a side of the plunger, the housing to press the drive wheel into the side of the plunger between the syringe flange and an end of the plunger.
Track-indexed syringe
The present invention relates to a finger grip (1) arranged to be connected to a syringe barrel having a plunger and a plunger rod for driving said plunger. The finger grip comprises a body having a lower side with finger supporting surfaces (13) for supporting fingers of a user during handling and an engagement member (5) being moveable between an inactive position where the engagement member is arranged not to engage with the plunger rod of the syringe barrel and an active position where the engagement member is arranged to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod of the syringe such that feedback is given to a user as the plunger is moved relative to the finger grip. An activation member (7) for moving the engagement member from said inactive position to said active position is built-in into the finger grip.
Subassembly for a drug delivery device and drug delivery device
The present specification relates to a subassembly for a drug delivery device, the subassembly comprising: a housing adapted to contain a drug container with a needle, a cap, and a spacer, wherein the housing has an inner surface forming a cavity configured to retain the drug container, wherein the cap is configured to be releasably connected to the housing, and wherein the spacer is arranged between the cap and the housing.
Precision steerable and angled medication delivery system
A precision steerable and angled medication delivery system is disclosed. The system may direct a delivery mechanism in connection with a control syringe to delivery sites within a patient's body. In this manner, therapeutic injections may be performed at precise locations as desired. The precision steerable and angled medication delivery system may have a structure configured to orient at least a portion of an elongate penetrative feature such as needle to be at least partially non-parallel to a longitudinal axis, further facilitating performance of therapeutic injections at precise locations.
SYRINGE BARREL GRIP, BARREL ASSEMBLY, AND SYRINGE
A syringe barrel grip is attached to a syringe barrel including a flange in which a pair of flange straight portions is formed. A flange housing portion of the grip includes a flange rotation restricting portion that restricts relative rotation between the grip and the flange that has entered the flange rotation restricting portion by rotating the barrel by a predetermined angle in a state where the flange is housed in a flange insertion portion, and there is a gap for allowing a sterilization gas to flow between a lower inner peripheral surface of the grip and the barrel in a state where the flange is housed in the flange rotation restricting portion.
Syringe assembly with inverse delivery
A reduced profile syringe assembly is provided that includes an overall profile that is substantially similar to a profile of a syringe barrel. The syringe assembly includes a plunger rod that is significantly disposed within the syringe barrel when filled for use, with the plunger rod adapted to be retracted from the syringe barrel during dispensing of contents of the syringe barrel.
SYRINGE WITH A PATIENT CONTACT SURFACE
A syringe and needle hub for a syringe has distal patient-facing side having a surface for contact with the subject’s skin during injection. The contact surface is formed by a distal face of a post supporting a cannula and an outer collar surrounding the post. The axial distance between the distal face of the post and the distal face of the collar provided a contact surface with a radius of curvature to control the desired injection. The syringe barrel can have finger flanges extending outwardly where the flanges have a tactile member such as a dimple projecting from a proximal face of the flange and recess in a distal face of the flange.
