Syringe with a patient contact surface
A syringe and needle hub for a syringe has distal patient-facing side having a surface for contact with the subject's skin during injection. The contact surface is formed by a distal face of a post supporting a cannula and an outer collar surrounding the post. The axial distance between the distal face of the post and the distal face of the collar provided a contact surface with a radius of curvature to control the desired injection. The syringe barrel can have finger flanges extending outwardly where the flanges have a tactile member such as a dimple projecting from a proximal face of the flange and recess in a distal face of the flange.
Syringe Assembly with Inverse Delivery
A reduced profile syringe assembly is provided that includes an overall profile that is substantially similar to a profile of a syringe barrel. The syringe assembly includes a plunger rod that is significantly disposed within the syringe barrel when filled for use, with the plunger rod adapted to be retracted from the syringe barrel during dispensing of contents of the syringe barrel.
Huber safety needle
Disclosed is a Huber needle assembly that may include an upper body connected to a lower body, the assembly being structured to retain a needle for insertion/extraction of the needle into/from an insertion site. The upper body can statically retain the needle while the lower body may slidably receive the needle. The lower body can further include a catch that engages a tip of the needle and/or misaligns the tip of the needle with a needle aperture of the lower body to place the assembly in a safety-lock position, preventing rebound, needle-stick injury, and/or any type of exposure of the needle tip to an environment outside of the lower body. The assembly can further bias the needle in a direction so as to prevent re-emergence of the needle tip after being withdrawn into the lower body.
DOSING SYRINGE
A dosing syringe including a hollow cylindrical body and a plunger slidable within the hollow cylindrical body. The dosing syringe includes at least one slider slidable within a distal flange of the hollow cylindrical body transversely to the hollow cylindrical body and at least one wall is formed in the plunger for abutting and blocking the slider during its sliding within the flange, wherein the at least one wall provides a mechanical stop which stops the stroke of the plunger at a predetermined volume of product to be aspirated and/or dispensed.
PRECISION STEERABLE AND ANGLED MEDICATION DELIVERY SYSTEM
A precision steerable and angled medication delivery system is disclosed. The system may direct a delivery mechanism in connection with a control syringe to delivery sites within a patient's body. In this manner, therapeutic injections may be performed at precise locations as desired.
Precision low-dose,low-waste syringes and ergonomic attachments therefor
Methods for using precision low-dose, low-waste syringe configurations, which may have a reduced diameter lumen for dispensing 0.01 ml increments of contents. Methods may employ ergonomic attachments that improve the control and precision of the syringe. An attachment main body includes a gripping surface to permit a user to engage the attachment and move the attachment main body, and thus the syringe plunger relative to the syringe barrel using sliding movement. Methods may employ an assist feature on the attachment, which may be a traction wheel. Methods for using syringes with contents of higher viscosity may employ a pair of toothed pinion gears on a wheel and which cooperate with respective toothed racks formed on or fastened to the syringe body.
SYRINGE APPARATUS AND SYRINGE ADAPTER DEVICE
A syringe apparatus (10) is provided which comprises a syringe portion having a syringe (12) or holder (24) adapted to receive a syringe (12) therein, the syringe portion having a rear grip (38) for seating in or against a user's hand and a front grip (40) formed at or adjacent to a tip end (22) of the syringe portion; and a movable member (30) engagable with a plunger (16) of the said syringe (12), the movable member (30) having a finger grip (32) at or adjacent to a tip end (22) thereof, the movable member (30) being engaged with the syringe portion and configured to move relative to the rear grip when a user applies a force at the finger grip (32); wherein the front and rear grips (40, 38) are formed as lateral projections (40a, 40b; 38a, 38b) with respect to the movable member (30).
SYRINGE PLUNGER FINGER RING STRUCTURES
A syringe finger ring and finger ring inserts, that in various embodiments, provides or connects to a syringe that comprises a syringe body capable of having a volume of material therein and a plunger disposed to enter the syringe body and dispense material from the syringe body by movement of plunger, and a novel a finger ring and related structures having an open area and connected, by various structures, to the plunger adapted to receive a finger within the finger ring open area, including a spacer of various embodiments inserted within the open area to selectively reduce the open area and provide more controllable engagement of the syringe plunger by the operator finger in distal and proximal strokes.
A MEDICAL SYRINGE PLUNGER AND A MEDICAL FINGER GRIP
A medical syringe plunger and a medical finger grip for a disposal syringe having both a dose accuracy function and a plunger pulling out prevention function are provided. A plunger rod includes a first guide groove for guiding the axial movement by a protrusion of a finger grip which extends toward the center of the hole of the finger grip and moves in it, a second guide groove formed at a position on the plunger rod which is rotated by a predetermined angle in the circumferential direction with respect to the first guide groove for guiding the axial movement, an axial direction movement restriction section formed in the vicinity of the end point of the first guide groove for restricting the protrusion's movement in the axial direction, and a protrusion transition section for enabling the protrusion to transit from the first guide groove to the second guide groove.
Versatile syringe platform
Apparatus and methods for medicament delivery. The apparatus may include, and the methods may involve, a delivery device for delivering a target amount of the medicament from a distal end of the device. The device may include a rod for moving a plunger that discharges the medicament from the distal end. The device may avoid or reduce deformation of the plunger during the discharge. The plunger motion may be stopped by detent that interacts with the rod. The apparatus and the methods may provide an operator indication of progress of stages of operation. The device may feature triggers corresponding to stages of medicament displacement from the device, such as pre-delivery stages, including priming.
