PEN-TYPE DRUG INJECTION DEVICE WITH CONTROLLER AND TIME LOCK-OUT MECHANISM FOR ITS DRIVE
Some aspects of the present disclosure relate to a drive mechanism for a drug delivery device. The drive mechanism includes: a piston rod to operably engage with a piston of a cartridge to displace the piston in a distal direction during a dose dispensing action, at least one actuation member mechanically coupled with the piston rod to induce a distally directed displacement of the piston rod when actuated by a user, a control to ascertain at least one predefined condition of use, and at least one interlock member coupled with the control to mechanically obstruct displacement of the piston rod if the condition of use is not fulfilled.
DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR A MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A drive assembly for a medicament delivery device having a driver rotationally driven, an actuator sleeve, and a resilient blocking member that surrounds the driver and is arranged radially inside of the actuator sleeve, wherein the blocking member engages with the driver to prevent rotation of the driver relative to the blocking member, the actuator sleeve being configured to move from a first position relative to the blocking member, in which the drive assembly is in an initial state and in which the actuator sleeve is configured to prevent the blocking member from moving radially outwards, causing the blocking member to engage with the driver and thereby prevent the driver from rotation, to a second position in which the drive assembly is in an activation state.
Wire and pulley clock mechanism flow regulator
An automatic injection device with flow regulation. The automatic injection device has an insertion needle configured to be inserted into a patient and a drug container which contains a pharmaceutical product and includes a plunger. The automatic injection device also has a fluid path which fluidly connects the drug container to the patient via an insertion needle, a potential energy source, and a regulator configured to restrict release of potential energy and restrict linear movement of the plunger and the pharmaceutical product into the fluid path at a proscribed pace. The regulator includes a clock escapement mechanism and a wire and pulley system including a wire coupled to at least one pulley. The potential energy source may be a spring that surrounds the drug container and may be directly coupled to the plunger and the wire such that movement of the spring and the wire is restricted over time.
FIXED DOSE INJECTION DEVICE
A shield activated drug delivery device for delivering a plurality of fixed doses comprising a housing, a drive mechanism comprising a drive element (180, 280) adapted to rotate and thereby rotate and axially advance a piston rod (109, 209), wherein the drive mechanism is adapted to expel a dose of the plurality of fixed doses, in response to activation. The injection device further comprises an activation mechanism, and a locking-and-resetting mechanism for releasably locking the shield in an activation position, in response to rotating the shield, and for inducing a rotational movement of the shield, in response to the drive element releasing a releasable lock.
Clock mechanism flow regulator
An automatic injection device with flow regulation is disclosed. The automatic injection device has an insertion needle configured to be inserted into a patient and a drug container which contains a pharmaceutical product and includes a plunger. The automatic injection device also has a fluid path which fluidly connects the drug container to the patient via the insertion needle, a potential energy source, and a regulator configured to restrict release of potential energy and restrict linear movement of the plunger and the pharmaceutical product into the fluid path at a proscribed pace. The regulator includes a clock escapement mechanism. The potential energy source may be a spring that surrounds the drug container and may be magnetically coupled to the plunger. The clock escapement mechanism is configured to control the spring at a regulated rate over a time interval using a gearbox and a rotational-to-linear translator comprising a rack and a pinion.
PROTECTED STERILE INJECTOR WITH READY ISOTONIC
A protected sterile injector with ready isotonic sodium chloride which provides drug dilution and administration in patient treatment services, contains isotonic sodium chloride liquid, includes at least one chamber having a hole for the medicament outlet, a piston connected to the chamber, ajutage that is located on the upper part of the chamber hole, and which is the part that allows for attachable-detachable use and is suitable for the use of different needle tips, a gasket which is connected to the upper part of the piston in the chamber, separating the liquid in the chamber and the empty space, at least one needle tip located in the outermost part of the chamber, a clamp connected to the outer part of the piston that prevents the involuntary outflow of the liquid in the chamber by preventing the movement of the piston and ensuring the controlled use of the liquid.
INJECTION END POINT SIGNALLING ASSEMBLY FOR PRE-FILLED SYRINGES
An injection endpoint signalling assembly is provided that is adapted and configured for mounting on, and use with, a pre-filled syringe. The injection endpoint assembly is configured to prevent a signalling of an injection endpoint before the plunger of the pre-filled syringe has reached a limit of a permitted extent of a direction of injection travel. The assembly is further configured to enable the signalling of the injection end point when the plunger of the pre-filled syringe has reached the limit of the permitted extent of the direction of injection travel and is prevented from moving in a direction of travel different to the direction of injection travel.
MEDICAMENT FILLING SYSTEM
A medicament filling system (30) provides medicament to a delivery device (20). The medicament filling system (30) comprises a main housing (40) having an air pump (42), a vial adapter (44) that is configured to engage a vial (10) containing medicament, the vial adapter (44) being in communication with the air pump (42), a syringe housing (46) that carries a syringe (70), the syringe housing (46) being in selective communication with the vial adapter (44) and the delivery device (20), and a valve (60) that locks and unlocks movement of a plunger (72) in the syringe (70).
DRUG INJECTION DEVICE
A drug injection device includes a housing with a cartridge having a predetermined drug volume, a dose setting mechanism for setting a drug dose, and a dose delivery mechanism. A dose setting service element rotates about a longitudinal axis during the drug dose setting. The dose setting mechanism has a last dose setting device to prevent setting of a drug dose greater than the drug volume remaining in the cartridge. The last dose setting device includes a pinion coaxial with the longitudinal axis that rotates about the longitudinal axis with the dose setting service element during drug dose setting, and a rack engaged with the pinion that moves parallel to the longitudinal axis when the pinion rotates. The pinion and the rack have mutual abutment elements that prevent further rotation of the pinion after the rack has travelled an axial length correlated to the predetermined drug volume.
