A rotor manufacturing method comprises an arranging step for arranging a rotor core, which is formed by stacking electromagnetic steel plates, to direct the stacked electromagnetic steel plates toward a vertical direction, a guide inserting step for inserting a rod-like guide into a magnet insertion hole formed to extend in the stacked direction of the rotor core after the arranging step, a sheet inserting step for inserting a plurality of sheets from above the rotor core into the magnet insertion hole along different side surfaces of the guide after the guide inserting step, a guide pull-out step for pulling out the guide from the magnet insertion hole after the sheet inserting step, and a magnet inserting step for inserting a permanent magnet between the plurality of sheets within the magnet insertion hole after the guide pull-out step.

Method for manufacturing motor rotor including a resolver rotor for detecting rotation position

A motor rotor and a method for manufacturing a motor rotor, enabling crimping of the resolver rotor at low cost with less influence on the detection accuracy. A motor rotor includes a resolver rotor and a rotor shaft to which the resolver rotor is affixed by crimping. The rotor shaft includes a first stepped section with which a crimping punch makes contact to deform the first stepped section, a second stepped section with which an end surface of the resolver rotor makes contact, and a cutout groove formed in a surface which is located near the first stepped section and with which an inner peripheral hole section of the resolver rotor makes contact. In the crimping operation, the first stepped section of the rotor shaft is bent within the cutout groove to form a crimping protrusion which presses the end surface of the resolver rotor.

Active part of an electrical machine, radial magnetic bearing and method for producing a radial magnetic bearing

An active part of an electrical machine includes teeth, each having a tooth base, a tooth height, open or closed grooves between the teeth, and windings introduced into the grooves. Each winding encloses at least one of the teeth. The active part has a thickness, starting from the outer surface of the respective tooth bases and extending along the teeth, that is greater than the tooth height. The active part, starting from the respective tooth base up to a limit depth, which is not more than equal the tooth height, has a first material with a first magnetic permeability and starting from the limit depth a second material with a second magnetic permeability. The first magnetic permeability is greater than the second magnetic permeability. The limit depth is essentially half as great as the tooth height.

MOTOR ROTOR, MOTOR USING THIS AND ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR

Provided is a motor rotor which, without changing an integral fastening structure relying on swage pins, increases resistance to the excessive excitation force of the motor rotor and which can easily prevent decreases in fastening strength; a motor that uses the motor rotor, and an electric compressor are also provided. This motor rotor is provided with a cylindrical rotor core comprising multiple laminated magnetic steel sheets, end plates and balance weights laminated on both ends of the rotor core, and multiple headed swage pins which are inserted from one side and which integrally fasten the rotor core, the end plates and the balance weights. The material of the balance weight arranged to the head of the swage pin is harder than that of the swage pin, and the material of the balance weight arranged to the swage part of the swage pin is softer than that of the swage pin.

Method for assembling rotor for use in IPM rotary machine

A method for assembling a rotor used in connection with an interior permanent magnet (IPM) rotary machine, the rotor having an axis of rotation and comprising a rotor yoke having bores and a plurality of permanent magnet segments disposed in the bores of the rotor yoke, each permanent magnet segment consisting of a plurality of magnet pieces. The method comprises the steps of: inserting the plurality of magnet pieces in each bore of the rotor yoke, with each of the magnet pieces for each of the magnet segments being kept loose from each other, for axially stacking the magnet pieces in the bore, and fixedly securing the stacked magnet pieces in the bore of the rotor yoke.

ROTOR DESIGN FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR HAVING BRAZED STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING ROTOR BARS

A rotor assembly is provided in which a solid rotor ring is formed at either end of a stack of laminated discs, the solid rotor rings yielding improved electrical and mechanical characteristics in a low weight assembly. The solid rotor rings are fabricated by brazing slugs between the end portions of the rotor bars, the braze joints contacting a large percentage (at least 90%) of the rotor bar end portions.

A moisture resistant rotor sleeve includes a plurality of stacked laminations forming a sleeve having an outer periphery, an inner periphery, and spaces between adjacent laminations. The rotor sleeve also includes a sealant coupled to the inner periphery such that the outer periphery is free of sealant. The sealant seals the spaces to prevent fluid from traveling through the spaces of the sleeve between the inner periphery and the outer periphery.

Method of manufacturing rotor

A method of manufacturing a rotor including a rotor core and a permanent magnet that is bonded to the rotor core with an adhesive containing a foaming agent, wherein applying the adhesive includes applying the adhesive such that the adhesive is spread to a portion on a front side with respect to the application area on the application surface, by moving the nozzle to a front side in the nozzle traveling direction with respect to a position in the application area at which feeding of the adhesive by the pump is finished.
