Spiral core current transformer for energy harvesting applications
A current transformer assembly for harvesting power from a primary conductor, such as a power line, for operating electronics, where the assembly is secured to the conductor while the conductor is connected. The assembly includes a current transformer having a transformer structure with a central opening that accepts the primary conductor and a spindle member for accepting a current transformer magnetic tape operating as the core of the current transformer. The assembly also includes a tape carrier secured to the structure on which the transformer tape is wound, and a winding device operable to unwind the transformer tape from the tape carrier and wind the tape onto the spindle member.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR FORMING WOVEN UNDULATED COIL ASSEMBLIES
Methods and apparatuses for forming a woven coil assembly (100), the coil assembly having adjacent superimposed linear portions (LI-L6, AL7-ALI2) extending parallel to each other in a first area (A1) of the coil assembly, and adjacent superimposed linear portions (L7-L12, AL13-AL18) extending parallel to each other in a second area (A2) of the coil assembly, wherein a plurality of head portions (T) connect the linear portions of the first area (AI) to the linear portions of the second area (A2).
Method for manufacturing a coil mat from wave winding wires by plugging
A method and device for manufacturing winding mats for manufacturing a coil winding of an electric machine. The winding mat is composed of wave winding wires bent as a flat winding in one plane. To be able to manufacture different coil mats with improved electrical characteristics easily and reliably in large series, it is proposed not to interlace or twist the wave winding wires, but to plug them at least partially. In addition, a method and a device for manufacturing a coil mat from several winding mats designed as individual mats are proposed. The device preferably comprises an offsetting device for introducing height offsets into winding heads of the wave winding wires.
Coil forming device
In a coil forming device, an edge line in an escape region is formed so that a clearance between the edge line in the escape region and a recess portion in an axis direction is larger than a minimum clearance between the edge line in an inclined region and the recess portion in the axis direction. When a second die is rotated relative to a first die in the clockwise direction the flat-square conductive material end is bent in flatwise bending by the recess portion and the inclined region of a protrusion portion, and then, the flat-square conductive material end reaches the escape region.
NON-CONTACT POWER RECEPTION APPARATUS FOR NON-CONTACT CHARGING AND ELECTRONIC SETTLEMENT PERFORMED IN A SINGLE PORTABLE TERMINAL
A non-contact power reception apparatus is provided, in which a power reception coil for a charging system and a loop antenna for an electronic settlement system are mounted on a battery pack and a cover case of a portable terminal such that the power reception coil is arranged in the center thereof and the loop antenna is disposed outside the power reception coil, so that a mode of receiving a wireless power signal and a mode of transmitting and receiving data are selectively performed, thereby preventing interference from harmonic components and enabling non-contact charging and electronic settlement using a single portable terminal. A jig for fabricating a core to be mounted to the non-contact power reception apparatus is provided.
Method for manufacturing electronic component with coil
A method for manufacturing an electronic component is provided. The method includes: placing an air-core coil in a mold; placing a mixture of an Fe—Si—Cr alloy, a thermosetting resin, and a solvent into the mold so as to embed the air-core coil in the mixture; after placing the mixture, applying pressure to the placed mixture so that a shape of the placed mixture conforms to the air-core coil and the mold; and after applying the pressure, heating the mixture at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time so that the placed mixture is hardened.
Power transformers and methods of manufacturing transformers and windings
A power transformer includes at least two first windings, at least two second windings interleaved with the at least two first windings, and a magnetic core. The at least two first windings and the at least two second windings are positioned adjacent the magnetic core. Each first winding includes a wire and a plurality of turns. One or more windings of the at least two first windings include a bonding material and at least two adjacent turns of said plurality of turns adhered to each other via the bonding material. Other example power transformers, methods of manufacturing power transformers, and methods of manufacturing windings are also disclosed.
DEVICE FOR PRODUCING ROTORS OR STATORS OF ELECTRIC MACHINES
A method to produce rotors or stators of electric machines having radial grooves into which webs of flat windings having parallel webs and winding heads connecting said webs being pulled, wherein a winding is produced on a rotating, strip-shaped flat former shorter than the winding such that windings are pulled off the former and transferred into a linear transfer device, which transports the windings to a removal position at which the windings are transferred into radial grooves of a rotor or of the transfer tool for transfer into radial grooves of a stator, wherein the former, the transfer device, and the rotor or the transfer tool being jointly rotated about an axis of rotation of the former when rotated to form windings.
Automated wire processing system and methods
A system is provided for wire processing. The wire processing system may include a wire transport, a processing station that may provide wire to the wire transport, a processing station that may move an electrical component threaded onto the wire, and a processing station that may move the electrical component to a position on the wire for further processing.
