Method of producing a liquid cooled coldplate

A liquid cooled coldplate has a tub with an inlet port and an outlet port and a plurality of pockets recessed within a top surface of the tub. Each pocket has a peripheral opening and a ledge, the ledge disposed inwardly and downwardly from the peripheral opening. The inlet port and outlet port are in fluid communication with the pocket via an inlet slot and an outlet slot. A plurality of cooling plates are each received by a pocket and recessed within the pocket. Each cooling plate comprises an electronics side for receiving electronics and enhanced side for cooling the cooling plate. The enhanced side of the cooling plate comprises a plurality of pins formed by micro deformation technology. The tub may be formed by extrusion.

Method of manufacturing a semiconductor device

A system and method for a semiconductor wafer carrier is disclosed. An embodiment comprises a semiconductor wafer carrier wherein conductive dopants are implanted into the carrier in order to amplify the coulombic forces between an electrostatic chuck and the carrier to compensate for reduced forces that result from thinner semiconductor wafers. Another embodiment forms conductive layers and vias within the carrier instead of implanting conductive dopants.

Method for producing wired circuit board

A method includes the following steps: S1, providing the insulating layer having an inclined face; S4, disposing a photomask so that in the photoresist, first and second exposure portions are exposed to light, and exposing the photoresist is to light through the photomask; S5, removing the first and the second exposure portions of the photoresist. On the assumption that in S4, light reflected at the metal thin film is focused between the first and the second exposure portions of the photoresist, the inclined face has a bending portion bending in one direction, the portion removed in S5 in the photoresist due to light focus being continuous with the first and the second exposure portions. The second exposure portion includes continuously an avoidance portion that avoids the bending portion and an overlapping portion that overlaps with at least a portion other than the bending portion in the inclined face.

A manufacturing method of a circuit board and a stamp are provided. The method includes the following steps. A circuit pattern and a dielectric layer covering the circuit pattern are formed on a dielectric substrate. A conductive via connected to the circuit pattern is formed in the dielectric layer. A photoresist material layer is formed on the dielectric layer. An imprinting process is performed on the photoresist material layer using a stamp to form a patterned photoresist layer, wherein the pressing side of the stamp facing the circuit pattern becomes sticky when subjected to pressure so as to catch photoresist residue from the photoresist material layer in the imprinting process. A patterned metal layer is formed on a region exposed by the patterned photoresist layer. The patterned photoresist layer is removed.

Thermostat assembly

A surge protection circuit for an electronic device such as an HVAC controller. In one example, the surge protection circuit may include a first voltage clamp, a second voltage clamp, a resistor, and an output port. The first voltage clamp may provide a first clamping voltage between a power input terminal and a common terminal. The second voltage clamp may provide a second clamping voltage that is less than the first clamping voltage. The resistor may be connected in series with the second voltage clamp, and the series connected resistor and second voltage clamp may be connected in parallel with the first voltage clamp. As such, a surge current at the power input terminal may be split between the first voltage clamp and the second voltage clamp. The amount of surge current that is provided to the second voltage clamp may be set by the value of the resistor.

ELECTROCHROMIC WINDOW FABRICATION METHODS

Methods of manufacturing electrochromic windows are described. An electrochromic device is fabricated to substantially cover a glass sheet, for example float glass, and a cutting pattern is defined based on one or more low-defectivity areas in the device from which one or more electrochromic panes are cut. Laser scribes and/or bus bars may be added prior to cutting the panes or after. Edge deletion can also be performed prior to or after cutting the electrochromic panes from the glass sheet. Insulated glass units (IGUs) are fabricated from the electrochromic panes and optionally one or more of the panes of the IGU are strengthened.

Thermal, electrosurgical and mechanical modalities may be combined in a surgical tool. Potentially damaging effects in a first modality may be minimized by using a secondary modality. In one example, thermal hemostasis may thus help electrosurgical applications avoid the adverse tissue effects associated with hemostatic monopolar electrosurgical waveforms while retaining the benefits of using monopolar incising waveforms.

Offset interposers for large-bottom packages and large-die package-on-package structures

An offset interposer includes a land side including land-side ball-grid array (BGA) and a package-on-package (POP) side including a POP-side BGA. The land-side BGA includes two adjacent, spaced-apart land-side pads, and the POP-side BGA includes two adjacent, spaced-apart POP-side pads that are coupled to the respective two land-side BGA pads through the offset interposer. The land-side BGA is configured to interface with a first-level interconnect. The POP-side BGA is configured to interface with a POP substrate. Each of the two land-side pads has a different footprint than the respective two POP-side pads.

Research on practical realization of various types of printable devices has progressed, and the realization of devices in which these printable devices are integrated on a flexible board is expected. However, there is the problem that, if a plurality of printable devices are simply integrated on the same board, the area of the integrated device increases, and the yield ratio greatly decreases. An integration technique that solves the problem of an increase in the area and a decrease in the yield ratio is in demand. Electronic devices to be integrated are formed on individual boards, the boards are laid to overlap each other in a predetermined relationship, and then through-vias are formed at predetermined positions. With this, the electronic devices are electrically connected to each other, and function as an integrated device.
