HIGH TOLERANCE CONNECTION BETWEEN ELEMENTS
This is directed to connecting two or more elements using an intermediate element constructed from a material that changes between states. An electronic device can include one or more components constructed by connecting several elements. To provide a connection having a reduced or small size or cross-section and construct a component having high tolerances, a material can be provided in a first state in which it flows between the elements before changing to a second state in which it adheres to the elements and provides a structurally sound connection. For example, a plastic can be molded between the elements. As another example, a composite material can be brazed between the elements. In some cases, internal surfaces of the elements can include one or more features for enhancing a bond between the elements and the material providing the interface between the elements.
Wearable computing device
A handheld computing device is disclosed. The handheld computing device includes a seamless housing formed from an extruded metal tube. The extruded tube includes open ends and internal rails which serve as a guide for slidably assembling an operational assembly through the open ends of the extruded tube, a reference surface for positioning the operational assembly relative to an access opening in the seamless housing, and a support structure for supporting the operational assembly during use.
Wiring harness and method for the production thereof
A vehicle has a wiring harness and a substantially electrically non-conductive body. The vehicle has at least one ground point. At least one bus bar is associated with the wiring harness. The at least one bus bar is associated with the at least one ground point. The ground point is electrically connected to the bus bar, and the bus bar is mechanically fixed in the vehicle.
Replacable debrider blade module with latching mechanism
A blade assembly comprising: a tip including two or more tubes, wherein the two or more tubes include at least: an outer tube and an inner tube; and a mechanical enclosure including: a locking spline having a longitudinal axis; and a slide lock; wherein the slide lock slides along the longitudinal axis of the locking spline and over the locking spline forming a locked state so that rotational movement of the locking spline, around the longitudinal axis of the locking spline, is prevented; and wherein the outer tube is coupled to the locking spline so that rotational movement of the outer tube, around the longitudinal axis of the locking spline, is prevented during the locked state.

Method for connecting several galvanic cells and cell connector therefore
A cell connector to connect a plurality of galvanic cells, system comprising a plurality of galvanic cells, and a method to connect a plurality of galvanic cells. The the cell connector including a longitudinal, planar base section having opposite-lying first and second longitudinal edges. A planar, first connecting tab is connected to the base section on the first longitudinal edge thereof, the plane of the first connecting tab being aligned at a right angle to the base section. A planar, second connecting tab is connected to the base section on the second longitudinal edge thereof, the plane of the second connecting tab being aligned at a right angle to the plane of the base section.
Component attach on metal woven mesh
Methods of and devices for coupling metal woven mesh or metal woven fabric with IC components to make flexible circuits are disclosed. The flexible circuits can be used to make wearable electronic devices, such as a garment with embedded IC chip.
Control rod drive mechanism (CRDM) mounting method for pressurized water reactors
A standoff supporting a control rod drive mechanism (CRDM) in a nuclear reactor is connected to a distribution plate which provides electrical power and hydraulics. The standoff has connectors that require no action to effectuate the electrical connection to the distribution plate other than placement of the standoff onto the distribution plate. This facilitates replacement of the CRDM. In addition to the connectors, the standoff has alignment features to ensure the CRDM is connected in the correct orientation. After placement, the standoff may be secured to the distribution plate by bolts or other fasteners. The distribution plate may be a single plate that contains the electrical and hydraulic lines and also is strong enough to provide support to the CRDMs or may comprise a stack of two or more plates.
High density electrode structure
Electrode cabling, including a core and n wires coiled on the core in an arrangement topologically equivalent to an n-start thread configuration, wherein n is an integer greater than one. The cabling also includes a sheath covering the n wires and an electrode attached through the sheath to a given wire selected from the n wires.
Quick connection system for energy storage and photovoltaic equipment
Systems and methods of electrically connecting electrical energy storage or photovoltaic equipment with electrical destination equipment without performing any hard-wiring or installing any terminations in the field. A utility-scale electrical energy storage system and/or photovoltaic inverter is provided with a receptacle at its electrical output with a frame shaped and sized to secure to a first plug on a first cable to form an electrical connection between the first source equipment, first cable and the destination equipment.
