Corrugated fin element
The invention relates to a method for producing a corrugated fin element for a heating register or for another heating device, through which corrugated fin element a flow can pass, to a corrugated fin element produced according to such a method, and to a heating register designed with such corrugated fin elements, wherein the corrugated fin elements are produced by unfolding.
Steam generation
A steam generator for generating a superheated fluid from a working fluid using a stream of heated gas, the steam generator comprising: a housing, which defines a gas flow path having an inlet at one, upstream end thereof into which a stream of heated gas is delivered and an outlet at the other, downstream end thereof; and a steam generation module which is disposed within the gas flow path of the housing, the steam generation module comprising a heat exchanger which receives a working fluid and is operative to raise the temperature of the working fluid to provide a saturated fluid, and a superheater which receives the saturated fluid from the heat exchanger and is operative to raise the temperature of the saturated fluid and provide a supersaturated fluid.
Antifouling coating, heat exchanger provided with same, and method for manufacturing heat exchanger
The present invention provides an antifouling coating formed from a water-based coating composition comprising 0.1% by mass to 10% by mass of ultrafine silica particles having an average particle size equal to or less than 25 nm, 5% by mass to 50% by mass, relative to the ultrafine silica particles, of a zirconium compound which is at least one selected from zirconium chloride and zirconyl chloride, and 30% by mass to 99.5% by mass of water. In accordance with the present invention, it is possible to provide an antifouling coating that can maintain the antifouling performance and hydrophilicity and prevent corrosion of fins even under an environment with a large amount of contaminating substances, such as metal particles, in the air.
Indirect evaporative cooling heat exchanger
A heat exchanger including a header having a plurality of header openings with rigid tubes that may be made of plastic are inserted in the openings. The tubes are sealed to the header to prevent leakage between the header and the tubes to prevent water and air leakage between the wet, scavenger air stream flowing through the tubes and a dry air stream flowing around the tubes. A method of making the heat exchanger includes providing the openings with a flange and uses an interference fit between the rigid heat exchange tubes and the header openings. A self-leveling sealant may be used to seal the heat exchanger tubes to the header using, for example, a paint roller and/or a paint sprayer.
Heat exchanger and method of manufacturing the same
Disclosed are a heat exchanger and a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger may include a plurality of three-step tubes, each having a three-layered section and each having a liquid passage at a middle portion and module insertion spaces at opposite sides of the liquid passage, a plurality of thermoelectric modules inserted into the module insertion spaces, a plurality of cooling fins coupled to an outer surface of each of the three-step tubes, and an upper tank and a lower tank coupled to an upper side and a lower side of the three-step tubes to be fluidically communicated with the liquid passages of the three-step tubes. The three-step tubes and the cooling fins may be stacked laterally with respect to each other. The three-step tubes, the cooling fins, the upper tank, and the lower tank may be brazed by a same filler material comprising a metal.
Removable heatsink fin assembly
A removable heatsink assembly adapted to removably receive a pipe. The removable heatsink assembly includes a first plurality of fins and a second plurality of fins having collar flanges sized to receive a pipe. The fins are received on first and second spacer rods, respectively and are hingedly connected by a hinge rod such that the first and second plurality of fins are pivotally movable about the hinge rod between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the first and second plurality of fins are positionable over the pipe. In the closed position, the collar flanges of the first and second plurality of fins substantially surround the pipe. A fin clamp secures the first and second plurality of fins together in the closed position about the pipe.
Bent heat exchanger and method for bending the heat exchanger
A bent heat exchanger includes a first manifold, a second manifold, and a plurality of flat tubes each being configured to communicate the first manifold with the second manifold, and fins between the flat tubes; wherein the flat tube includes a first straight section, a second straight section and a bent section connecting the first straight section with the second straight section. The bent section includes the first twisted section connected to the first straight section, the second twisted section connected to the second straight section, and the connecting section connecting the first twisted section with the second twisted section, and the connecting section of the flat tube has a substantially flat shape or a flat arc shape. In this way, the height of the bent heat exchanger can be reduced, which facilitates the installation and improves the heat exchange performance of the heat exchanger.
Contact plate for an electrode of an electro-metallurgical furnace and method for producing such a plate
Contact plate for placing in contact with the wall of an electrode of an electro-metallurgical furnace. The contact plate includes an internal channel having an inlet and at least one outlet. The inlet and outlet are respectively linked to an external intake duct and to at least one external duct for discharging a fluid. An elongate hole (16) has an elongate partition (35) which has opposing elongate edges (39) adjacent to opposing elongate zones (33) of the elongate hole so as to define, in the hole, elongate spaces (16a-16b) on either side of the elongate partition. The elongate partition defines a connecting passage (41) between the elongate spaces and link holes (29) communicating with the elongate spaces being formed at a distance from the connecting passage. The elongate spaces form portions of the internal channel (59).
