Vehicle trim panel having beverage retainer
A vehicle trim panel assembly is provided having a beverage retainer formed in a storage compartment on the door of an automotive vehicle. The trim panel assembly includes a storage receptacle and a trim panel arranged to define at least a portion of the storage receptacle. The trim panel includes a base portion connected to a beverage retainer portion via a living hinge. The beverage retainer portion is pivoted about the living hinge into position within the storage receptacle.
Sliding visor
A sliding sun visor for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The sun visor includes a first and second visor body shell. At least one of the shells having a retaining channel for engaging and retaining a floating carrier on a visor pivot rod. It is also contemplated that the sun visor may have a snap in vanity system and rotating pin on a D-ring associated therewith. The visor body also may include a wire routing option to route a wire from the electrical system of a vehicle to a light bulb in a vanity.
Snap-in fastener with sealing flange
An improved fastener with an annular sealing flange disposed above a lead-in base clip portion adapted for insertion into an acceptance opening in a panel or other structure. A heat-shrunk seal is disposed about the perimeter of the annular sealing flange in partial covering relation to upper and lower surfaces of the annular sealing flange to provide an enhanced sealing relation between the sealing flange and the panel.
Trim panel
The present invention relates to a trim panel (1; 101) for a motor vehicle. The trim panel (1; 101) has a first connector (11; 103) for mounting the trim panel (1; 101). The first connector (11; 103) is elongated and extends longitudinally along the trim panel (1; 101). The present invention also relates to a method of mounting a trim panel (1; 101); and a method of forming first and second connectors (11, 13; 103, 105).
Knife block with interchangeable blade receiving caps and methods of assembling the same
An interchangeable knife block that accommodates various numbers and sizes of cutlery utensils. One knife block includes a base, a body having a first end and a second end, wherein the body is coupled to the base at the first end and extends from the base, and a cap removably coupled to the second end of the body and defining one or more slots therein, each slot being configured to receive a portion of a cutlery utensil therein.
PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE INTEGRATED MOUNTING AND ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS
A system for mounting solar modules to a structure includes a first solar module, a rod, and a mount. The solar module includes a photovoltaic laminate and a frame circumscribing the photovoltaic laminate. The rod is connected with the frame. The mount is configured to couple at least the first solar module to a support structure. The mount defines an interior to receive the rod and an opening to the interior configured to permit the rod to pass through the opening. The mount includes a link selectively movable between an open position that permits access to the interior through the opening and a closed position that substantially covers the opening.
Hair clippers with flexing electrically adjustable blades
A flex clipper provides a feature to help the cutting blade set float more effortlessly by adjusting automatically to the contours of a client's head to prevent getting stuck and causing cuts and irritation to the scalp. The hair clippers preferably also uses a self-contained motor-driven adjustment mechanism to adjust the relative position of the stationary and reciprocating blades of a common type of blade set. Two momentary switches operable by the thumb of the hand holding the clipper afford a barber total automatic adjustment with the clipper itself in an on or off condition.
Razor handle with movable members
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly upper and lower portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs.
Method of connecting two components as well as a component connection
A method of connecting a first component having a first hole with a second component having a second hole includes the acts of placing together the two components so that the holes are situated above one another, and fixing the two components on one another. The fixing occurs by pushing a connection element projecting beyond the two components through the two components, the connection element having at least one clamping head which projects beyond a side of the first component facing away from the second component, and clipping a clamping element onto the clamping head, so that the clamping element is supported on a side of the first component facing away from the second component and exercises a clamping force onto the connection element which clamps together the two components.

A cable conduit end for securing a cable to a cable abutment of a latch is provided. The cable conduit end having: a housing; an alignment feature incorporated into a surface of the housing; a flexible retention feature integrally formed with the conduit end, wherein the flexible retention feature is spring biased away from the housing to a first position; and a radial retention feature extending outwardly away from the housing, wherein the flexible retention feature is located proximate to a first end of the housing and the radial retention feature is located proximate to a second end of the housing.
