STENT DELIVERY SYSTEMS WITH A REDUCED PROFILE
Medical devices, medical device systems, and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. An example medical device may include an inner shaft having a stent receiving region. A bumper shaft may be disposed about the inner shaft. A deployment sheath may be slidably disposed about the inner shaft. The deployment sheath may have a body region and a distal stent covering region. The distal stent covering region may have an outer diameter that is smaller than an outer diameter of the body region.
Hemodialysis Device
A hemodialysis device is described herein. An exemplary hemodialysis device includes an import tube, a dialysis tube, and an export tube. The dialysis tube includes an inner dialysis tube, a dialysis membrane and an outer dialysis tube. The inner dialysis tube is within the dialysis membrane, which is within the outer dialysis tube. An inlet and an outlet of the inner tube are disposed at a first end of the outer dialysis tube. The inlet of the inner dialysis tube is coupled to the import tube and the outlet of the inner dialysis tube is coupled to the export tube. The dialysis tube is inserted into an artery of a patient, and thereby performs hemodialysis within the body. Since the hemodialysis in performed within the artery instead of drawing blood out of the body, the hemodialysis device will minimally affect blood pressure, which is more economic and safe.
CATHETER
A catheter allowing injection or aspiration of fluid at any desired position along an entire circumference of the catheter. The catheter may include a first hollow body having an inner lumen, and a second hollow body covering an outer periphery of the first hollow body and having an outside lumen between the first hollow body and the second hollow body. The outside lumen is divided by partition walls connected to the first hollow body and the second hollow body to form a plurality of outer lumens. On an outer periphery of the second hollow body, holes are formed for the respective outer lumens along a circumferential direction of the second hollow body. Alternatively, the catheter may include a plurality of tubes disposed on an outer periphery of the hollow body, and may include a hole formed in each of the tubes along a circumferential direction of the hollow body.
Microcatheter with distal tip portion and proximal solution lumen
There is provided a microcatheter having a proximal solution lumen and a distal tip portion with a guidewire lumen. The microcatheter and methods of use thereof allows for introduction of solution into a vessel while manipulating the guidewire and/or the microcatheter itself. The solution may be a contrast solution, for viewing of the vessel, a therapeutic or diagnostic solution, or any other type of solution.
Aspiration catheter system
In some examples, an aspiration catheter system includes an outer catheter and an inner catheter configured to be positioned within the outer catheter lumen, and an alignment element. The outer catheter defines an outer catheter lumen and an outer catheter distal opening. The inner catheter defines an inner catheter lumen, an inner catheter distal opening, and a plurality of sidewall openings proximal to the inner catheter distal opening. The alignment element is configured to indicate a predetermined position of the inner catheter relative to the outer catheter when the inner catheter is received within the outer catheter distal opening. When the inner catheter is at the predetermined position, at least one sidewall opening of the plurality of sidewall openings remains positioned within the outer catheter lumen and at least one other sidewall opening of the plurality of sidewall openings is positioned distal to the outer catheter distal opening.
Catheter Assembly Including Transitioning Lumens
A catheter assembly including an elongate catheter tube is disclosed. The number of lumens defined by the catheter tube can vary as a function of longitudinal length along the catheter tube. For instance, the catheter tube can define three lumens from the proximal end of the catheter tube and terminate one of the lumens at an intermediate termination point such that only two lumens are defined further distally along the catheter tube. A sensor can be placed in the terminating lumen so as to isolate it from the other lumens and from blood or other body fluids while still enabling the sensor to reside within the patient body when the catheter tube is positioned in the patient for use. In addition to this, various other lumen transition and sensor configurations are disclosed.
Bone Material Harvesting Device
A bone harvesting device includes a main body having an internal cavity and a suction port adapted to be coupled to a suction source. The device further includes an outer tube (200) having an interior surface, an exterior surface, a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the outer tube being coupleable to the main body, an inner tube having an interior surface, an exterior surface, a proximal end and a distal end, the inner tube being in fluid communication with the internal cavity and at least partially disposed within the outer tube such that a venting channel is defined between at least a portion of the inner tube and at least a portion of the outer tube.
Dual Lumen Cannula with Adjustable Length Infusion Tube
A dual lumen coaxial cannula assembly including a first infusion tube having a proximal end, a distal end, and a sidewall extending circumferentially therebetween, as well as a second drainage tube co-axially aligned with the first infusion tube, the second drainage tube having a proximal end, a distal end, and a sidewall extending circumferentially therebetween. The assembly also includes a connector assembly, which has an inlet portion through which a portion of the first infusion tube is configured to extend and an outlet portion through which a portion of the second drainage tube is configured to extend. The connector assembly is configured to enable selective axial displacement of the first infusion tube through the second drainage tube.
Medical elongated body
A medical elongated body is disclosed, which includes a shaft having a lumen through which a contrast agent can flow; and a tubular structure portion which is provided at a distal portion of the shaft and has an insertion hole. The tubular structure portion includes an inner tube fixed to the distal portion of the shaft; an outer tube which is disposed radially outward of the inner tube and is liquid-tightly fixed to the distal portion of the shaft and a proximal portion of the inner tube; a space portion communicating with the lumen of the shaft between the inner tube and the outer tube, and an opening portion through which a contrast agent flows from the lumen into the space portion flows out.
HYDRAULIC DISPLACEMENT AND REMOVAL OF THROMBUS CLOTS, AND CATHETERS FOR PERFORMING HYDRAULIC DISPLACEMENT
Clot removal from a patient's vessel, such as an artery, are described using aspiration and hydraulic forces supporting the removal process. Hydraulic forces can be generated by occluding the vessel distal to the clot and delivering liquid between the clot and the occlusive device. The aspiration catheter is positioned proximal to the clot. Catheters designed to facilitate the delivery of hydraulic forces can be based on single lumen designs or dual lumen designs. The catheters may have a fixed internal wire, or in some embodiments the catheters can ride over a wire with a valve/seal positioned to restrict flow into or out from the guide lumen such that the guide lumen can further function for balloon inflation and/or for infusion of liquid.
