The coupling layer can further include a cutaway region extending from a periphery of the coupling layer adjacent the second end into a central portion of the coupling layer, such that the second end comprises legs that are separated by the cutaway region, and such that the first end is free of the cutaway region.

The adhesive arrangement further includes an adhesive material disposed on the first surface of the substrate material. Each of the tabs is sized and configured to be folded back onto a corresponding portion of the main portion of the substrate material and coupled thereto by the adhesive material.

The lower surface of the base layer is provided with an adhesive for adhering the plaster to the patient. The top layer includes a hinge about which the pull tab can be oriented away from the skin of the patient.
