Securement device for polymer tubing and polymer coated cables
A securement device for catheter tubes and polymer coated cables includes a base mounted on a support surface, and male and female straps, the male straps having locking members that mate with corresponding apertures in the female straps. The male and female straps connect to a base via fixed ends of the respective male and female straps, and each of the fixed ends comprises a curved portion configured to orient the corresponding unsecured strap substantially parallel to the base. Each of the fixed ends of the male straps mate with a recess in the fixed ends of the corresponding female strap, thereby forming a crease for seating the tube or cable being secured.
Endotracheal tube securement devices and methods
ET securement devices and methods are provided wherein the ET securement devices generally include two portions: a first portion for securing an ET tube and a second portion for attaching to the patient. The first portion is configured to releasably attach to the second portion to secure the ET tube relative to the patient.
SURGERY PILLOW AND DEVICE COMBINING ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE HOLDER, BITE GUARD, AND PATIENT EYE PROTECTOR
A surgery apparatus includes a resilient foam pillow having an arrangement of labeled tabs for holding lines leading to/from a patient during and after surgery. A central cutout area in the pillow accommodates the patient's eyes, nose and mouth when in the prone position. Left and right channels in the foam pillow extend from a top edge of the pillow to the central cutout area for holding a breathing tube system. The foam pillow further includes a removably attachable chest support and opposite shoulder supports. A multipurpose holder device for placement on the patient's head has an arrangement of straps for securing an eye shield, a bite block and ventilator tube securing straps on the patient during surgery.
RADIAL ARTERY ADAPTOR
A radial artery catheter adapter comprising, a converter sheath configured to provide access to the radial artery, wherein the converter sheath includes a conduit for a catheter, and the converter sheath is angled around the anatomy such that a first terminus is positioned at least twenty degrees from a substantial portion of the converter sheath a hub for coupling one or more catheters; and an immobilizer configured to stabilize the orientation of the converter sheath and the hub.
TROCAR STABILIZATION CLAMP
A trocar stabilization clamp includes a clamp body defining opposed ends. First and second clamp heads having respective first and second clamps are coupled to respective ends of the clamp body. At least a portion of the clamp body includes a flexible body section. The trocar stabilization clamp is configured to secure two trocars in place and inhibit movement of the trocars.
MEDICAL DEVICE STABILIZATION SYSTEM
A medical device stabilization system is provided for securing a device to a patient, relative to the angle and point of insertion thereby reducing stress at the insertion site, discomfort for the patient, and the risk of insertion site bleeding, while minimizing risk of damage to the medical device. The stabilization system may include a base that may be affixed to a patient and/or a stabilizer pad that may be removably coupled to the base. The stabilizer has angled first and second top surfaces which meet at an apex of the stabilizer. The angle of the first top surface corresponds with the insertion angle of the medical device. The base includes an opening such that the medical device extends through the opening, along the first top surface, over the apex, and along the second top surface.
Catheter Stabilizing Device
A catheter stabilizing device for stabilizing a Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) catheter includes a pad having an adhesive engaged to a first face thereof. The adhesive is used to engage the pad to abdominal skin of a user so that the pad is engaged to an abdomen of the user. A connector is engaged to a second face of the pad and can selectively connect to a tube of a catheter. The connector stabilizes the catheter in a selected position.
Systems and methods for intravenous catheter stabilization and monitoring
Devices and methods for securing a catheter and monitoring a catheter insertion site. Exemplary embodiments can allow monitoring of the site without removal of the device. Exemplary embodiments can also secure a catheter while maintaining patient comfort.
FIXING DEVICE
The invention relates to a fixing device for fixing a medical, cosmetic, decorative or other article to the skin of a living being, the fixing device comprising the following features: a) a first retaining element having a first piercing point, which is designed to pierce the skin, b) a second retaining element having a second piercing point, which is designed to pierce the skin, the second piercing point being arranged at a distance from the first piercing point, c) a bridge, to which the first and the second retaining element are fastened, d) a fixing portion, which is connected to the bridge or is part of the bridge, the fixing portion being designed to fix the article that is to be fixed.
Nasogastric tube securement systems and methods of using same
A nasogastric tube securement system. The system can include a base layer and a coupling layer. The base layer can be configured to be adhered to a nose, the base layer having a first major surface comprising a skin-contact adhesive and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. The coupling layer can include a first end comprising coupling means configured to be repositionably coupled to the second major surface of the base layer, and a leg. The leg can be connected to and extending from the first end, can be elongated along a longitudinal direction, and can be configured to secure a nasogastric tube.
