At least one flow restrictor (1,2) is arranged in the secondary flow path, the flow restrictor arranged to provide a pressure to chamber (B) sufficient to actuate the valve to an open position when the fluid flowing through the secondary flow path is oil, and a pressure sufficient to actuate the valve to a closed position when the fluid has a viscosity and/or density less than oil.

A metering and well selection valve group, comprising a rotary type metering distributor with multiple shells; after entering the shells, an elbow extends from one side of shells; the part of elbow positioned in the shells is provided with filtering holes. Filtered fluid outlets are provided on the shells. Multiple check and stop dual purpose angle valves are corresponding to the quantity of shells, each one has a valve with an inlet pipe, a valve stem, a valve base, a valve element is provided on the inside of valve base, a handwheel is mounted on the outer end of valve stem. A first spring is mounted between the spring stop and the valve element. The outlet pipe of filtered fluid is communicated with the outlet of filtered fluid on the case body on the rotary metering distributor. Through the first valve, the extended part of elbow is communicated with the blocking removal fluid outlet chamber on the case body on the rotary metering distributor. In said metering valve group, the control valve is a check and stop dual-purpose angle valve which simultaneously has two functions.

A sleeve shaped valve cage for receiving a valve member is described. The valve cage can guide the valve member relative to the valve cage. The valve cage can include a throttle section configured to provide pressure-reduced flow rates of the processing fluid, the throttle section having multiple throttle conduits extending from an inside of the valve cage to an outside of the valve cage; a high capacity flow section adjacent to the throttle section in the displacement direction, the high capacity flow section configured to provide increased flow rates of the processing fluid; and at least one equalization channel formed in the valve cage and extending from the inside to the outside of the valve cage, the at least one equalization channel leading from the high capacity flow section to the throttle section such that, before the valve member releases all throttle conduits, the equalization channel is released.

Flow control device and method

A fluid flow control device includes a housing having a fluid inlet (7) and at least one fluid outlet (8). A first fluid flow restrictor (1) serves as an inflow port to a chamber (B) in the housing, and a second fluid flow restrictor (2) serves as an outflow port from the chamber (B). The first fluid flow restrictor and the second fluid flow restrictor are configured to generate different fluid flow characteristics; and the chamber (B) includes an actuating device (5a-1) that is responsive to fluid pressure changes (P.sub.2) in the chamber. The first fluid flow restrictor (1) and the second fluid flow restrictor (2) are configured to impose respective different fluid flow characteristics based on different fluid properties.
