Electrically operated valve

An electrically operated valve is provided with a valve main body in which a valve chamber is defined in an inner portion and a first opening and a second opening are formed in a side portion and a bottom portion, a valve seat member which has an valve port open to the valve chamber and a valve seat and is provided in the second opening of the valve main body, a valve body which is arranged in the valve chamber so as to be movable up and down, and an elevation drive portion which moves up and down the valve body in relation to the valve seat, and a porous body constructed by a foam metal is arranged along a portion which is positioned in a side portion of the valve port on the inner wall surface of the valve main body. Accordingly, an abnormal noise can be reduced.

A device (1) for controlling the flow of a fluid through a conduit (3) from an upstream side (8) to a downstream side (10). The device includes one or more valve apertures (6) through which the flow of fluid is selectively controlled. A valve member (12) is arranged to move reciprocally to selectively open and close the one or more valve apertures. The device includes a stop (18) for arresting the travel of the valve member arranged at or beyond a position the valve member reaches when at least some of the one or more valve apertures are open. The valve member includes an end portion (13) arranged to come into contact with the stop when the valve member reaches or passes the position at which at least some of the one or more valve apertures are open and a body portion (9).

A device (1) for controlling the flow of a fluid through a conduit (3) from an upstream side (8) to a downstream side (10). The device includes a housing (4) having one or more valve apertures (6) through which the flow of fluid is selectively controlled. A valve member (12) is mounted on the housing and arranged to move reciprocally to selectively open and close the one or more valve apertures. A seal (20) is arranged at or beyond a position the valve member reaches when the one or more valve apertures are all closed. The device also includes a resilient member (26) that acts to bias the seal towards the valve member.

Cage valve with flow trim for reduced port erosion

A valve, and tubular cage component for a valve, in which the tubular cage is formed such that at least a ported portion between the ends of the cage includes a tubular outer cage member formed from a metal material, and a tubular inner cage member formed from a wear resistant material. The inner cage member and the outer cage member are concentrically aligned and have a length to span at least the ported portion. Some or all of the flow ports in the ported portion include a port insert which includes a port sleeve formed from a wear resistant material such that the port sleeve extends at least over the metal material of the outer cage member at the flow port.

Multi-stage trim

A system including a valve trim having a plurality of flow paths, wherein each flow path of the plurality of flow paths includes a series of stages, and a plurality of expansion zones disposed in series with the series or stages, wherein each expansion zone of the plurality of expansion zones is disposed between a sequential set of adjacent upstream and downstream stages of the series of stages, wherein each expansion zone of the plurality of expansion zones is configured to flow a fluid in a direction that is generally transverse to directions of flow in both the adjacent-upstream stage and the adjacent-downstream stage, and wherein each expansion zone of the plurality of expansion zones is in line with one of the adjacent-upstream stage or the adjacent-downstream stage and offset from a different one of the corresponding adjacent-upstream stage or the adjacent-downstream stage.
