Item of luggage
An item of luggage can communicate with a mobile terminal via NFC protocol. A first NFC reader is attached to the luggage item. The first NFC reader includes a reading unit and a memory. The reading unit receives object identification information from an NFC tag attached to every object brought into the near field of the luggage item, and stores the object identification information in the memory. When the mobile terminal is itself brought into the near field of the luggage item, the mobile terminal is given the stored object identification information from the memory, and the object identification information read by the mobile terminal is output for the information of a user.
DECORATIVE PORTABLE POWER CHARGER
A compact, decorative and multi-functional portable power charger and cable apparatus includes a portable charger unit with a housing where the housing encloses an internal rechargeable battery unit for connecting to and recharging one or more electronic devices, and a charging cable extending from the charger housing and in operative communication with the rechargeable battery. At least the charger housing is surrounded by an aesthetic feature, which can comprise a tasseled fitting, a puffball, a luggage tag, or a doll or teddy bear to hide the charger unit. Electrical fittings including power connection interfaces for connecting the charger and cable apparatus with at least one electronic device, or an external power source, or both, can be provided on the charging cable and also hidden by the aesthetic feature. The power charger and cable apparatus can be attached to a fashion accessory, such as a purse, a bag, luggage or clothing.
RODAWAY FISHING ROD RACK AND CARRIER
A cee shaped fishing rod and reel storage rack and carrier molded from polystyrene plastic with apertures with one end flange for accepting the handle portion of one or more fishing rods, and an opposing end flange notched to receive the tapered shanks of said rods. The openings are sized to accommodate most combinations of conventional rods and reels. Recessed keyhole slots are provided for easy attachment to wall or overhead.
CASE WITH STRAP COMPRISING COMPUTER CABLE COUPLED THERETO
In one aspect, a case includes at least one exterior surface, at least one compartment internal to the exterior surface and in which at least one system component cars be placed, a strap removably engageable with the exterior surface, and a cable coupled to the strap that is useable to transmit at least one of data and power between two devices.
Light Emitting System
A light emitting system includes a bag that may contain items. A lighting unit is coupled to the bag and the lighting unit selectively illuminates the items thereby facilitating the items to be retrieved from the bag. The lighting unit is touch sensitive such that the lighting unit turns on when the lighting unit is touched. The lighting unit has a pair of intersecting arms such that the lighting unit has a cruciform shape.
Luggage Tray Apparatus
A luggage tray apparatus for supporting food, electronics, and other devices on a piece of luggage is provided. The luggage has a sliding grip, retractable handle with the retractable handle having a pair of parallel extension rods. The luggage tray apparatus comprises a tray table having a top surface, a bottom surface substantially opposite the top surface, and an outer perimeter edge with the outer perimeter edge having a front edge and a rear edge substantially opposite the front edge. An elongated slot is formed completely through the tray table nearingly adjacent the rear edge with the elongated slot capable of slidably receiving the extension rods. A pair of support arms is provided having a first end and a second end with the first end secured to the bottom surface and the second end secured to the extension rods. Wherein the tray table provides a stable surface for placement of the food, electronics, and other devices.
Reusable mobile electronic device moisture removal pouch and method
A moisture removal pouch is disclosed with a main pouch body including a front panel portion defining at least one permanently sealed front compartment with desiccated silica permanently sealed therein, a rear panel portion opposite the front panel portion and defining at least one permanently sealed rear compartment with desiccated silica permanently sealed therein, the front and rear panel portions permanently sealed together at a bottom edge and side edges so as to define an electronic device receiving cavity and a main pouch body opening sized to receive an electronic device into the electronic device cavity. The pouch also includes an air-permeable inner liner facilitating a moisture removal operational configuration in which the main pouch body opening is closed in a non-airtight sealable manner and includes a pouch cover disposed to selectively cover the main pouch body opening in the non-airtight sealable manner.
Portable apparatus and methods using phase change materials for creating a temperature stabilized environment
A carrying case utilizes a layer of phase change materials and a thermal insulation layer in order to provide a temperature-stabilized environment for enclosed payloads such as musical instruments during transport through an environment in which temperatures differ greatly from those to which they are normally exposed.
