An earbud includes a housing that includes a driver assembly positioned within the housing forming a front volume in front of the driver and a back volume behind the driver. An acoustic insert is positioned behind the driver assembly and attached to an interior surface of the housing such that it forms a bass channel that is routed from the back volume to a vent in the housing.

Systems and methods are provided for attaching and positioning a personal computing device case to a folio. The folio includes magnetic connections, and the personal computing device case includes magnetic connections for attaching the case to the folio in any one of a plurality of positions. The magnetic connections of the folio include an upper magnet array and a lower magnet array for attachment of the magnetic case. The folio includes a hinge mechanism at a top edge of each of two sides of the folio. The case is attached to the folio using guided magnetic seating, and the case is repositionable by slidingly or rotationally changing the position of the case relative to the folio.

An apparatus for storing equipment is disclosed. The apparatus has a housing including a plurality of members configured to rotate relative to each other, about an attachment portion of the plurality of members, between a closed position forming an interior cavity and an open position, an assembly attached to the housing and configured to rotate relative to the housing, a shaping member attached to one of the plurality of members and configured to rotate relative to the one of the plurality of members, and at least one aperture extending through the one of the plurality of members. Disclosed is a cover including a receiving portion having a space defined for receiving an electronic device, a covering portion, and a hinge portion connecting the receiving portion and the covering portion and allowing the covering portion to pivot. An outer case for covering a handheld electronic device or handheld electronic device case includes a base, a lid, and a collar. The lid is pivotably attached to the base. The collar is attached to the base and is moveable away from the lid such that the lid rotates away from the base during movement of the collar away from the lid.

A protective case for housing a protected device such as audio earbuds. In some examples the case may include a water-resistant seal to prevent damage to the protected device, an impact-resistant outer housing and/or an impact absorbing inner housing portion. The case may include upper and lower portions hingedly or pivotally coupled to one another. In example applications wherein the protected device includes a hinged container, eccentric or offset hinge axes of the case and the protected device effect a cam or fulcrum action that assists in opening and/or raising the protected device container for ease of access to the protected device when the case is opened.
