Battery packaging material, production method therefor, battery, and polyester film
A battery packaging material including a laminate that is provided with a barrier layer, a heat-fusible resin layer positioned on one surface side of the barrier layer, and a polyester film positioned on the other surface side of the barrier layer. When the infrared absorption spectrum on the surface of the polyester film in 18 directions at intervals of 10° from 0° to 180° is obtained using the total reflection method of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, the ratio (surface orientation degree, Y.sub.max/Y.sub.min) of the maximum value Y.sub.max and the minimum value Y.sub.min of the ratio (Y.sub.1340/Y.sub.1410) of the absorption peak intensity Y.sub.1340 in 1340 cm.sup.−1 and the absorption peak intensity Y.sub.1410 in 1410 cm.sup.−1 in the infrared absorption spectrum is in the range of 1.4-2.7.
Method of manufacturing laminated glass articles with improved edge condition
A method of manufacturing a laminated glass article having a first clad layer, a second clad layer, and a core layer between the first clad layer and the second clad layer, by exposing an edge of the core layer. An etchant can be applied to the edge of the laminated glass article to form the recess. The recess can then be filled.
Silicone free drug delivery devices
A pre-filled syringe having containing therein at least one therapeutic is provided. The syringe contains a silicone free barrel and an elastomeric syringe stopper that is covered with an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene barrier layer. The presence of a barrier layer that is at least partially porous on the outside of the syringe stopper improves the seal between the stopper and syringe barrel and minimizes the sliding force. In some embodiments, the barrel is formed of a glass material such as a borosilicate glass, that is free of silicone or other lubricants.
LAMINATE BODY AND PACKAGING BAG USING THE SAME
A laminated body having at least two or more different layers, wherein the laminate body is characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (5): (1) the laminate body has a heat-sealing layer as at least one of the outermost layers, wherein the heat-sealing layer includes a polyester based component containing ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent component, and a sealing strength of 8 N/15 mm to 30 N/15 mm; (2) at least one layer other than the heat-sealing layer is an inorganic thin film layer; (3) a water vapor permeation rate of 0.1 g/m.sup.2.Math.d to 6 g/m.sup.2.Math.d; (4) an oxygen permeation rate of 5 ml/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.MPa to 30 ml/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.MPa; and (5) a heat shrinkage rate of 5% to 5%.
SEALING FILM SUITABLE FOR FOOD PACKAGING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A sealing film suitable for food packaging is disclosed, which adopts the following solution. The sealing film comprises, in sequence, a PET layer, a VMPET layer and a PE layer from outside to inside, wherein the PE layer comprises 100-110 parts of PE, 15-20 parts of EVA, 15-20 parts of EAA, 55-60 parts of HDPE and 10-15 parts of LLDPE in parts by mass. In this manner, the addition of HDPE and LLDPE into the PE layer is intended to enhance the tensile strength of the sealing film.

Non-compliant medical balloon having an integral non-woven fabric layer
A non-compliant medical balloon may be changed from a deflated state to an inflated state by increasing pressure within the balloon. The non-compliant medical balloon is composed of randomly oriented fibers forming an angle. The angle remains substantially unchanged when the balloon changes from a deflated state to an inflated state.
Web and method for making fluid filled units
A preformed web and a method of producing dunnage units from the preformed web. The web is an elongate flattened thermoplastic tube having an inflation edge and an opposite edge. The tube includes spaced transverse seals that define sides of pouches. The tube includes lines of perforations that allow adjacent dunnage units to be separated. A starting point of the lines of perforations is spaced apart from the inflation edge. The positions of the starting point of the lines of perforations with respect to the inflation edge is selected such that a cutter that cuts the inflation edge clears the line of perforations. Binding or wrinkling is therefore not caused by engagement of the cutter with the lines of perforations.
INTERNAL ANTICORROSIVE AND ABRASIVE RESISTANT PROTECTION COATING FOR PIPES
The present invention includes an inner anticorrosive and abrasive resistant coating (10) for metallic pipes (1) used for the transport of fluids. The coating includes: a layer of epoxy resin (2) having free hydroxyl groups, which are applied directly to the inside (1a) of the metallic pipe (1); a layer of thermoplastic adhesive (3) applied directly onto the layer of epoxy resin; and a layer of a plastic material (4) containing polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF).
PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR MOLDING, EXTERIOR CASE FOR ELECTRICITY STORAGE DEVICE AND ELECTRICITY STORAGE DEVICE
Provided is a molding packaging material capable of sealing without causing sealing failure, significantly reducing cleaning frequency of a seal bar to improve productivity, and preventing occurrence of delamination. The molding packaging material includes a PBT terephthalate (PBT) layer 2, a heat fusible resin layer 3, and a metal foil layer 4 between the two layers. The PBT layer 2 and the metal foil layer 4 are bonded via an outer adhesive layer 5. The outer adhesive layer 5 is formed of a urethane adhesive cured film composed of a polyester polyol, a polyfunctional isocyanate compound, and polyhydric alcohol. The polyester polyol contains a dicarboxylic acid component, the dicarboxylic acid component includes an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. The dicarboxylic acid component contains an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. The content rate of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid in the dicarboxylic acid component is 40 mol % to 80 mol %. The Young's modulus of the cured film of the urethane adhesive is 70 MPa to 400 MPa. The PBT layer has tensile strength of 100 MPa to 300 MPa.
