METHOD FOR TREATING PREMATURE EJACULATION AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PREMATURE EJACULATION TREATMENT DEVICE
Methods of treating premature ejaculation include arranging one or more electrodes to face dorsal penile nerves (DPNs) of a patient with premature ejaculation, and applying an electro stimulation having a frequency and a current by which seminal fluid expulsion is not induced in the patient by the one or more electrodes during a time period from before the start of sexual intercourse to ejaculation. The electro stimulation reversibly extends an intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) of the patient. Methods of controlling a premature ejaculation treatment device are also provided.
Method for treatment of erectile dysfunction
A method for treatment of erectile dysfunction is described using RF energy with multiple electrodes applied to the treated tissue.
INTERVENTIONAL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A delivery system for local drug delivery to a target site of internal body tissue is provided. The delivery system comprises a source electrode adapted to be positioned proximate to a target site of internal body tissue. A counter electrode is in electrical communication with the source electrode, and is configured to cooperate with the source electrode to form a localized electric field proximate to the target site. A reservoir is configured to be disposed such that the reservoir is capable of interacting with the localized electric field. The reservoir is configured to carry a cargo capable of being delivered to the target site when exposed to the localized electric field. Associated methods are also provided.
Urinary pumping device
An urinary pumping device for generating a fluid flow through a urethra of a patient includes an activation arrangement configured to induce intermittent compression and release of the urethra, and a mounting structure to mount and unmount the activation arrangement to a body of the patient. The mounting structure is configured to position the activation arrangement on the body of the patient such that the urethra of the patient can be intermittently compressed and released by the activation arrangement.
COMPRESSIBLE, MINMALLY INVASIVE IMPLANTS AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods involving implants positioned within implant pockets through minimally invasive entrance incisions, along with related neurostimulatory implants. In some implementations, implants may be folded, rolled, or otherwise compressed to fit within subcutaneous implant pockets, after which they may be decompressed to fit within an implant pocket having one or more dimensions substantially larger than the entrance incision. Such implants may be used for a variety of purposes, including generating electrical energy for various other implants, including neurostimulatory implants located throughout the body.
