PESSARY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PELVIC FLOOR LIGAMENT SUPPORT

A pessary system for providing pelvic floor support for USL and other ligaments. The pessary has an elongated probe with independently inflatable balloons each located substantially the same distance from the insertion end of the probe and which inflate into separate radial sectors. The probe can be inserted into a vaginal cavity and the balloons inflated provide mechanical support to the USLs. Independent inflation of each balloon allows the mechanical USL support provided to be varied on left and right sides to compensate for differences in the degree of degradation and positioning of the USL ligaments on either side.

Sinus treatment device with enhanced tip

A sinus treatment device and methods of operating the sinus treatment device that include an enhanced conductive tip and at least one return electrode are disclosed.

Programmable external control unit

A medical device control unit is provided. The control unit may include a communications interface, a memory, and at least one processing device. The processing device may be configured to cause application of a control signal to a primary antenna associated with a unit external to a subject's body. The processing device may further be configured to monitor a feedback signal indicative of the subject's breathing and store, in the memory, information associated with the feedback signal. The processing device may also cause transmission of the stored information, via the communications interface, to a location remote from the control unit. The processing device may further be configured to receive an update signal, from the location remote from the control unit, and cause application of an updated control signal to the primary antenna based on the update signal.

Electronic skin rejuvenating device and methods of use

Provided herein are systems, methods and apparatuses for an Electronic skin rejuvenating device.

LOW-FREQUENCY TREATMENT APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM IN WHICH CONTROL PROGRAM IS STORED

Provided is a technique that can improve a physical sensation of a user during treatment. A low-frequency treatment device according to one aspect of the present invention includes a pad portion configured to be able to supply a low-frequency pulse current to a contact target, and an output unit configured to output, during supply of the low-frequency pulse current by the pad portion, at least one of light and sound synchronized with a change in a supply state of the low-frequency pulse current. For example, the low-frequency treatment device according to one aspect of the present invention includes a control unit configured to perform control of supply of the low-frequency pulse current by the pad portion and control, in conjunction with the control of supply of the low-frequency pulse current, of output of at least one of the light and sound by the output unit.

PHOTOVOLTAIC ELECTRICAL STIMULATION DEVICE

The present invention concerns an optoelectronic stimulating device for use in a medical treatment involving delivering an electrical current to an electrically excitable tissue (Z.sub.bio) by means of two electrodes (3n, 3p) electrically coupled to said tissue, said optoelectronic stimulating device comprising: (a) a source (4) of electrical impulses, which is electrically connected to (b) a source of light emission (2), in optical communication with (c) a photovoltaic cell (1) electrically connected to two electrodes (3n, 3p) for establishing two electrical contacts with said tissue and thus forming an electrical stimulating circuit fed by the photovoltaic cell (1) which is energized by the radiation of the source of light emission (2).

METHOD FOR TREATING BACTERIAL AND VIRAL DISEASES USING ELECTRICAL STIMULATION
20230201587 · 2023-06-29 ·

A method for treating at least one of a bacterial disease and a viral disease according to an embodiment includes sequentially generating electrical stimulation at different frequencies, and sequentially applying the generated electrical stimulation at different frequencies to user's body through an electrode unit in contact with the body of a user who has the bacterial or viral disease.

VAGAL NERVE STIMULATION FOR TREATING DOPAMINE-RELATED CONDITIONS

Vagal nerve stimulation devices and methods are provided for treating medical conditions, such as conditions associated with insufficient dopamine and/or endogenous opioids in the brain. A device includes one or more electrodes having a contact surface for contacting an outer skin surface of a patient and an energy source coupled to the electrodes. The energy source generates one or more electrical impulses and transmits the electrical impulses to the electrodes and transcutaneously through the outer skin surface of the patient at or near a vagus nerve. The one or more electrical impulses is sufficient to modulate the vagus nerve and release dopamine and/or endogenous opioids in a brain of the patient.

MEMORIES ALIVE

The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods to provide a patient suffering from at least one communication and memory impairment with positive stimuli. In one of such embodiments, the method includes obtaining data indicative of a current condition of a first patient. The method also includes determining, based on prior patient data of the first patient, a first stimulus that triggered a positive response from the first patient while the first patient was in a condition similar to the current condition. The method further includes providing a first recommendation for the first patient to experience the first stimulus for display on an electronic device. The method further includes receiving a first response triggered by the first stimulus. The method further includes storing data indicative of the first response in a storage medium.
