HIGH TORQUE BOLT
A bolt includes a main-bolt head, a threaded shaft, and a deformable-bolt head component. The main-bolt head has a recess. The threaded shaft extends from the main-bolt head. The threaded shaft has an external thread wrapped therearound. The deformable-bolt head component has an outer flange and an interior threaded bore. The outer flange of the deformable-bolt head component is coupled to the main-bolt head such that a relief space is formed between the deformable-bolt head component and the recess.
Push to connect conduit fitting with ferrule
A push to connect fitting includes a body member adapted to receive a conduit end, a conduit comprising a first end that can be axially inserted into the body member and a conduit gripping device attached to an exterior surface of the conduit, and a retainer that retains the conduit in place when said conduit is fully inserted into the body member. Additional embodiments include providing a seal with the fitting that seals the exterior surface of the conduit, an optional load retaining sleeve for the conduit gripping device, and an optional gimbal. The push to connect aspect may be realized in the form of a single action unthreaded mechanical connection.
METHOD OF COVERING A PORTION OF A FASTENER PROTRUDING FROM A SURFACE
A method of covering a portion of a fastener, protruding from a surface, that comprises providing a cap comprising a wall, a base, an interior, at least partially delimited by the wall and the base, and pawls, located in the interior of the cap. The method further comprises coupling a tooth to the fastener, covering the portion of the fastener with the cap, and positively engaging the pawls with the tooth, such that the pawls are loaded in tension against the tooth.
Connectors used in modular furniture system
A connector for connecting two furniture modules or other stationary objects to form a modular system. The connector includes two hardware pieces, to be mounted onto two furniture modules, respectively. The first piece fits into the second piece in a loading/unloading position, and then moves to a locked position. One or more detent on one hardware piece and one or more systems of tracks in the other hardware piece are provided to help the two pieces move relative to each other in a guided manner, go into and stay in the locked position, and move out of the locked position into the loading/unloading position when sufficient force is applied. Each system of tracks includes multiple indentations and one or more barriers, where the detent can move along the indentations and is resisted or blocked by the barriers.
Uniform equipment mounting system
A universal mounting system is provided for use in connection with substantially any type of electronic equipment so was to reduce or substantially avoid the need for rail kids or other mounting assemblies that are its equipment specific for mounting equipment to racks. In one implementation, a uniform mounting system (101) includes a number of rail and slider assemblies (112). Each of the rail and slider assemblies includes a slider that is slightly mounted on a support rail. Each of the slider is includes mounting flange is and brackets for mounting the slider to a piece of equipment. The mounting flanges 116 that's collectively define a segmented vertical rail. A safety stop mechanism can be used to define very a offset figurations of the equipment with respect to a front end of the rack.
Methods for use in covering a portion of a fastener protruding from a surface
A system for use in covering a portion of a fastener protruding from a surface is provided. The system includes a cap that includes an interior, a base that at least partially delimits the interior, and pawls on the interior. The system may also include a tooth configured to be associated with the fastener and configured to positively engage the pawls.
Fastener device
The invention relates to an attachment device with a fastener, a first supporting disk and a second supporting disk, wherein the fastener has a head with a head contact surface and a pin extending out along a longitudinal axis, wherein the pin has an attachment end with a contact surface that is opposite the head contact surface. The first supporting disk has a suitably large opening to permit the pin to pass through the opening, and has a wedge-shaped section. The second supporting disk has a suitably large opening to permit the pin to pass through the opening and to permit the second supporting disk to turn relative to the fastener about the longitudinal axis of the pin. The second supporting disk is in contact with the wedge-shaped section and moves along the surface of the wedge-shaped section, when the second supporting disk and the fastener turn relative to each other about the longitudinal axis of the pin.
Clasp for securing flexible bands
A clasp is configured to permanently interlock around a flexible strip of material and includes first and second interlocking members. Each interlocking member includes a plurality of hooks and a corresponding plurality of recesses, where the recesses of one interlocking member receive the hooks of the other interlocking member to secure a band within the clasp between the interlocking members. The recesses can be completely internal to the clasp to prevent external tampering. Each of the interlocking members can include various protrusions and ribs that compress and secure the band within the clasp, so as to prevent movement of the band between the interlocking members when interlocked.
Magnetic hanging device
A magnetic hanging device for use in combination with a magnetically attractive surface. The device includes: a magnetic hanger comprising a magnetic sheet and a magnetic-sheet reinforcement suspending layer having a rear side to which the magnetic sheet is fixed and a front side having a hanging member attached thereto; and a plurality of spaced apart ribs disposed on the front side of the hanger, at least one of the ribs being a single-piece non-segmented rib. The hanger is configured in proportion to Young's modulus of elasticity; the length of the ribs; the cube of the thickness of the reinforcement suspending layer; and indirectly proportional to the average distance between the ribs.
Ball joint mounts
An improved antenna ball joint mount is provided that includes a hollow socket mechanically coupled to a spherical member with a locking part. The hollow socket and the spherical member are fully detachable to simplify the installation of an antenna. A user is able to set a position of the antenna to any point on a spherical sector surface within a range of motion allowed by a shape of joint components and rotate the antenna around own axis to adjust a polarization plane and then lock the mount in a predetermined position.
